This work explores advanced data structures as a means of optimizing algorithmic efficiency in high-performance computing. The search for faster and more scalable algorithms becomes essential as computing demands rise further. This paper explores state-of-the-art data structures intended to improve overall performance, memory usage, and computational speed. We hope to offer insights into the applicability and impact of various advanced data structures on high-performance computing tasks through a thorough review and analysis of them, including but not limited to self-balancing trees, hash tables, and advanced graph structures. The results of this study not only advance our theoretical knowledge of these data structures but also provide developers and researchers with useful advice on how to utilize algorithmic efficiency in quickly fully. It is important to remember that algorithmic urban planning is an interdisciplinary field that encompasses data science, computer science, urban planning, and many other fields. Over the past ten years, graph representation learning has garnered a lot of attention due to the variety of graph-structured data and its efficiency in both time and space. One essential method for obtaining effective graph representations is graph pooling. Numerous studies on the graph pooling technique have been conducted. Cutting-edge results on a range of graph representation learning tasks were made possible by the combination of graph neural networks and self-attention mechanisms. Nevertheless, the attention mechanism has limitations since it ignores nodes that have no direct connection via an edge but provide valuable network context information. This paper proposes a graph pooling approach based on Personalized PageRank and self-attention, which improves the model to take into account both node properties and graph structure. The experimental findings indicate that, with a suitable number of parameters, the MAGPool approach delivers greater accuracy on the benchmark datasets. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper focuses on the challenges of modeling and verifying symmetric distributed algorithms with point-to-point and bidirectional communications using the SPIN model checker. In this paper, we first state the problems of implementing the model of such algorithms in the Promela language. Then, we present a solution for each of these problems, where these solutions present a hybrid data structure that facilitates the definition of any set of variables or channels as a matrix. Also, we model and verify one of the valuable and practical algorithms called the causal broadcast (CB) algorithm as a case study using the proposed method. In addition, we specify the main properties of the CB algorithm, namely validity, integrity, causal delivery, and termination, in Linear Temporal Logic (LTL) and then verify them using the SPIN model checker. © 2024 IEEE.

In recent years, the HPC cluster has developed rapidly and has become an important tool to solve large-scale and complex computing problems. However, in a cluster environment, how to efficiently schedule HPC cluster resources has become a problem worthy of attention. Based on this, this paper proposes a scheduling strategy that integrates the ant colony algorithm and active cache to minimize resource scheduling time and maximize resource utilization. Simulation results show that compared with the ant colony algorithm, the new strategy proposed in this paper can improve the efficiency of resource scheduling, significantly reduce the scheduling time, greatly improve the resource utilization rate, and significantly reduce the job loss rate. © 2024 IEEE.

Image segmentation plays a crucial role in various computer vision applications, and thresholding is a commonly used technique. An image can be effectively segmented into distinct regions by selecting appropriate threshold levels. Evolutionary algorithms have been widely employed to automate the process of determining optimal thresholds. This paper proposes a novel approach utilizing the Sailfish algorithm to select suitable thresholds by defining an objective function tailored for image segmentation tasks. Random threshold values within the image are considered members of the initial population in this algorithm. The objective is to iteratively refine and extract optimal threshold values through the execution of the Sailfish algorithm. Experimental results demonstrate that this proposed method achieves higher accuracy and performance than traditional approaches in detecting object edges and boundaries. © 2024 IEEE.

In order to improve the performance of traditional SOM model, an adaptive SOM neural network algorithm is proposed. By introducing the error square sum solution formula, the clustering error of the model sub-data set is calculated by using the method of cutting the data set, and the change trend of the clustering error is quickly obtained. Then the learning rate of the SOM network is adaptively adjusted according to this, and the convergence speed is accelerated on the basis of ensuring that the network is fully trained, thereby improving the performance of the SOM network. © 2023 SPIE.

The paper presents the development of a Data science solution that applies generative AI models in order to create high-quality images to be used in visual marketing and advertising. Using the Python library PIL (Pillow) along with machine learning frameworks, the solution combines predefined product images with the selected backgrounds, enhancing image synthesis techniques for more appealing and contextually relevant visuals. This leads to improved efficiency and effectiveness in the creation of content by automatically placing product images onto the background images used in marketing campaigns. The approach demonstrated a 98.06% SSIM (Structural similarity Index) score, indicating significant visual quality improvement. Initial results suggest a 15% enhancement in visual appeal compared to traditional image creation methods. © 2025 IEEE.

To explore the characteristics of high-intensity running performance among Chinese Super League (CSL) players, this study uses the high-intensity running metrics from 831 players who completed all 64 matches during the 2022 Qatar World Cup as research subjects. The independent variables include player positions, team strength, while nine high-intensity running metrics serve as dependent variables. The data series inference method is employed to define the significance of the impact of player positions, team strength, and match formations on high-intensity running performance. The research results reveal that players in different positions exhibit significant differences in high-intensity running distance, speed, sprinting ability, and performance under ball control. Additionally, the strength of the team also impacts players' high-intensity running capabilities. Players from top-tier teams show greater high-intensity running ability when controlling the ball, particularly in wide positions, while players from mid-to-Iower-tier teams rely more on high-intensity running during defensive situations. This study provides coaches and football professionals with data-driven insights to develop more scientific conditioning programs and tactical strategies. © 2024 IEEE.
