Sharenting happens when parents or relatives post photos of their children, usually minors, on social media. However, this has privacy-compromising and child-risking consequences, which may lead to cyber fraud. The paper aims to validate a digital parental sharing scale (DPSS) in the Indian Context. A proper process of designing and validating the scale was carried out on a sample of 250 Indian parents. With the help of analytical tools, the validity and reliability of the analysis were validated. A fourteen-item scale was validated based on social acceptance, Privacy and control, Memories and milestones, and Cyber Security. With good psychometric properties, the scale is validated as a reliable instrument for recording the level of sharenting amongst Indian Parents. The research paper is limited to understanding the level of sharenting by Indian parents. The crucial agricultural practice of precision pruning fruit trees greatly impacts fruit production yield and quality. Traditional pruning techniques take a lot of time and money because they need skilled workers and are labor-intensive. It suggests a novel cloud-based AI robotics system intended to precisely prune fruit trees to address these issues. This system uses cutting-edge robotics fitted with Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) to carry out precise and effective tasks related to pruning. Cloud computing integration makes it possible to process and make real-time decisions, improving the system's flexibility in responding to changing tree conditions and pruning needs. The system's primary parts are robotic arms for accurate cuts, various sensors for analyzing tree structures, and CNN models for maximizing pruning techniques. Early field trials show noticeable gains in operational efficiency and pruning accuracy compared to conventional techniques. This study demonstrates how cloud-integrated AI robotics can transform agricultural practices and improve fruit farming's sustainability and productivity. © 2025 IEEE.

Plant disease affects crop productivity and yield. Several machine learning and deep learning architectures have been used for plant disease classification for the last decade. Tomato and Potatoes are being grown in many parts of the world. This research study presents various pruned deep CNN models for potato and tomato disease classification where different CNN architectures were pruned, their core structure was retained, and parameter size was reduced to approximate 1.5 M. Rather than focusing solely on accuracy, this study also considers reproduction and deployment. Images of tomato and potato plants covering 13 diseases, including healthy, were taken from the PlantVillage dataset. Six deep CNN models were considered, pruned and concatenated, out of which EfficientNetB0 have a superior performance score of 99.90%, with a parameter size of 1.5 M and 0.826G computing operations (FLOPs), outperforming the remaining five pruned CNN models. The developed lightweight model can be easily deployed in mobile and portable devices with limited resources and computational power, to assist farmers in identifying potato and tomato diseases. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

The social networking sites of Instagram, WhatsApp, Twitter, and YouTube have led to this tremendous volume of user-generated content in text, images, and videos. Now all these elements-from marketing to direct customer engagement-become contingent upon the analysis of the emotional context of such multimodal data. This research strongly advocates an architecture that unifies NLP for text-based content and deep learning for the visual data into emotion categorization because traditional techniques for sentiment analysis cannot merge the two input modalities into meaningful and actionable insights. While EfficientNet covers the visual inputs such as images and video frames, GPT-2, optimized with LoRA, classifies the emotions within the text comments and captions. Some pipelines are included in the real-time processing modular architecture. The outputs are executed through a chatbot on an interactive frontend constructed with ReactJS. Other salient features include ensemble-based data fusion, improved pretreatment pipelines, and scalable back-end deployment. Results: This depicts a reasonably high accuracy and scale in different platforms. The overall multimodal framework would, therefore, allow organizations to extract maximum potential from the knowledge available on social media and thereby transform the process of emotion analytics. © 2025 IEEE.

The study uses powerful learning methods to identify powdery mildew and leaf scorch on strawberry fruit and leaves. The suggested solution combines ResNet50 and InceptionV3 cognitive neural networks. This strategy involves collecting powdery mildew and leaf scorch datasets and improving them. ResNet50 and InceptionV3 extract discriminative features and detect powdery mildew and leaf scorch patterns. The aggregate characteristics are put into a fully connected layer and a softmax classifier for illness classification. An optimized technique adjusts the model’s hyperparameters during training for optimal classification performance. Comprehensive testing shows that the combined model beats ResNet50, InceptionV3, and other illness diagnostic approaches. Integration of information utilizing fusion approaches improves representation and illness diagnosis. Research suggests that the reinforcement learning-based approach can identify powdery mildew and leaf scorch in strawberry fruits with an accuracy rate of 98.42% and a validation rate of 99%. This study introduces a soft robotic gripper inspired by Kirigami, designed to improve flexibility and adaptability for handling delicate or irregular objects. The gripper, fabricated using silicone elastomers with strategic Kirigami cuts, allows significant deformation while maintaining structural integrity. Two models were tested on various objects. Model 1 showed superior performance, while Model 2, designed for larger objects, struggled with smaller and heavier items. The gripper demonstrated excellent adaptability, securely gripping diverse objects by conforming to complex geometries. Its potential for gentle handling makes it suitable for biomedical and agricultural applications. Durability tests revealed that the 1.5 mm thickness gripper maintained performance after over 100 cycles, outperforming the 1.0 mm version, which exhibited loosening after fewer uses. Compared to conventional grippers, the Kirigamiinspired design showed enhanced flexibility, precision, and durability, making it ideal for automation tasks. Future refinements in materials and design will further improve its performance.

The Diabetic Foot Ulcer Challenge is a global computer vision competition organised to raise awareness of the complications caused by diabetes and motivate researchers to develop solutions that might help in the treatment. In 2024, the challenge focused on self-supervised learning methods and synthetic data, as the process of collecting and labelling medical data is a tedious one. In this research, we present a novel, two-stage method for self-supervised DFU segmentation. It is based on a Vision Transformer attention from classification pre-task, followed by U-Net weakly supervised segmentation refinement. Our solution took 3rd place on the challenge leaderboard, with a 0.4796 Dice Score on the test set. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.
