In the process of level transition between C3 and C2 based on CTCS-3 level control system, Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Colored Petri Net (CPN) model the conversion process, which are used to ensure the consistency between the train control system and model. The model data was extracted and analyzed by MATLAB. It analyzed the influence factors of train speed on the grade conversion rate, that was the time of the transition and the success rate of the level transition. The level conversion model is verified, indicating that the UML and CPN models meet the security and real-time requirements of the CTCS-3 level control system-level conversion scenario. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2020.

Version control system is a repository of a source code that provides support in all stages of a software development lifecycle. Success of a version control system is affected by its acceptance by end-users. This paper deals with the adoption of the distributed version control system. With an aim to determine antecedents of satisfaction with as well as behavioral intention related to the reuse of the version control system, we proposed a research model composed of constructs that originate from several theories and models including technology acceptance model, theory of reasoned action, and expectation-confirmation theory. An empirical study was then carried out and was composed of two parts. First, study participants had to complete scenario-based interaction with GitHub as a representative sample of distributed version control systems. As a follow up, study respondents had to fill out the post-use questionnaire. Students from two higher education institutions were included in the study as a representative sample of users. The psychometric features of the research model were examined by means of the partial least squares structural equation modelling method. (Robot) swarm networks are consisting of magnitudes of individual agents that are capable to move in a world and interact with each other or with passive items. Through local, individual algorithms applied in the agents desired properties of the swarm can emerge. In this paper, we present Swarm-Sim, a round-based simulator that supports the evaluation of such large scaled swarms in a 2D and 3D world. Agents can move in the simulated world, perceive their surroundings, carry other agents and items, as well as communicate with the position they stand on through pheromones or markings as well as with other agents and items in this world. Through this, many swarm-related use cases are supported. Implementing swarm algorithms is easy as the simulator is completely written in python and its code is open source. This allows also to simulate large swarms due to the good performance of the simulator. Thorough analysis of the swarm behavior is supported through plots and visualizations.

Satellite remote sensing technology provides massive image data for meteorological field, which can accurately extract the spatial distribution of cloud, and can be used to analyze the spatial and temporal changes of cloud. Aiming at the problems that the traditional algorithm is sensitive to noise and has poor recognition effect on broken clouds, a multi-feature remote sensing image cloud detection algorithm based on neural network structure is proposed, which has a good recognition effect on all types of clouds. The experimental results show that the accuracy of cloud detection in this paper reaches 92%, which is about 6% higher than the traditional algorithm, and avoids the disadvantage of the traditional algorithm which is sensitive to noise. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In order to improve the population diversity during immune optimization of high-dimensional TSP problem, avoid falling into local optimal solutions, and then improve the algorithm's global optimization capability and optimization efficiency, Immune Optimization Algorithm for TSP Based on Cluster Analysis and Self-Circulation, (IOATCS) is proposed. Inspired by cluster analysis, TSP population data is classified and evolved according to the relevance of the problem to improve the efficiency of population optimization;a self-circulation strategy is designed to obtain new offspring through the self-circulation and crossover of the parent body, and then inherit the gene fragments of excellent individuals to the offspring, which improves the global search ability of the algorithm. The test results of six groups of high-dimensional TSP problems show that compared with the basic genetic algorithm, immune genetic algorithm and ant colony algorithm, the planning performance of the algorithm in this paper is the best, and the average relative error and relative error standard deviation of the algorithm are reduced by 10.21% and 4.54% respectively, and the average convergence algebra and convergence algebra standard deviation are reduced by 31.2% and 38.7% respectively, which verifies the strong optimization ability, high optimization efficiency and good stability of the proposed algorithm. © 2021 ACM.

The article discusses the procedure of step-by-step formalization of the software model of the system for accounting and forecasting the effectiveness of employees of an IT enterprise The issue of control of social interaction is considered. The relational model from game theory based on a specific data model template is proposed. Generalization in form of highlighting the categorical apparatus of metrics that directly or indirectly affect the procedure for assessing work efficiency, downtime or incorrect use of a working device (computer) is proposed. An architectural model of the application is proposed and substantiated, a model of a system for working with metrics is determined, the implementation of the necessary analysis tools in form of a combination of various machine learning algorithms used in systems with a binary classification based on decision making by the operator (the object of analysis) is described. In this study, we describe the first-ever demonstration of the turning and jumping control of locusts based on electrical stimulation, which can realize a cyborg jumper. In terms of perception, walking distance, speed, payload, maneuverability, and adaptability to complex environments, cyborgs can reveal unmatchable advantages to insect-scale artificial robots. Herein, live locusts (Locusta migratoria) were selected as the study platform. Antennae and cercus stimulations using electrical pulses were applied to elicit the insect to turn and jump. We examined both the turning angle and the angular velocity by tuning the stimulus amplitude or frequency. It is found the turning rate induced by antenna stimulation can be graded. Besides, the stimulation of the cercus at the distal abdomen triggered the jump reliably. Moreover, the directional jumping control of the locust was achieved by the collaboration of turning and jumping control. Such results provide the potential to establish a more precise and more efficient model to develop a direction-controllable cyborg jumper.

High-quality software production is contingent upon software maintainability. Various methods have been suggested to assess software maintainability in a quantitative manner. Software metrics, such as the no. of LOC and McCabe's Cyclomatic Complexity(CC), Chidamber & Kemerer (C & K) metrics and Lorenz & Kidd(L & K) metrics are significantly used in such approaches. In this study, Five Software Maintainability datasets, namely Android Calendar(small size), Android Telephony(medium size), Android Services(small size), Android Net(medium size) and Apache Kafka(large size) are calculated which are based on Android and Apache based Open Source software written in Java that contain information, i.e., various OO metrics as Independent variables for every class present in the source code and change(Alter) as Dependent variable to indicate whether the class is altered or not. Various Software Metrics Collection Tools for Java projects are analyzed and found out that Understand: The Software Developer's Multi-Tool(UnderStand for Java) by SciTools calculate OO Metrics that focuses on every aspect of software development, i.e, coupling, cohesion, size and inheritance, as well as LOC and CC which other software's lack in generating certain metrics related to Software development. UnderStand for Java Tool was employed to extract OO metrics from versions of Android Calendar 9.0.0, Telephony 9.0.0, Services 13.0.0, Net 13.0.0, and Apache Kafka 3.6.0. WinMerge was used to calculate the binary Alter variable (0 or 1) by comparing these versions with their subsequent releases: Android Calendar 10.0.0, Telephony 10.0.0, Services 14.0.0, Net 14.0.0, and Apache Kafka 3.7.0. Point Biserial correlation is used to identify the relationship between OO Metrics and Alter variable thus in turn are indicators of Software Maintainability.
