The work reported in this article addresses the challenge of building models for non-trivial aerobatic aircraft maneuvers in an automated fashion. It is built using a Behavioural Cloning approach where human pilots provide a set of example maneuvers used by a Machine Learning algorithm to induce a control model for each maneuver. The best examples for each maneuver were selected using a set of objective evaluation metrics. Using those example sets, robust models were induced that could replicate (and in some cases outperform) the human pilots that provided the examples (the clean-up effect). Complete complex maneuvers were performed using a meta-controller capable of sequencing the basic ones learned by imitation. This endeavor was rewarded by the results that show several Machine Learning models capable of performing highly complex aircraft maneuvers. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

The past four decades are characterized by the implementation of digital solutions in the production sector, and the advent of robots being used for rigid and fast material handling. This time domain is the implementation phase of the 3rd Industrial Revolution. By today, we can witness the evolution (rather than revolution) of new technologies, that enable far more changes in the digitized factory environment compared to the previous transitions. The authors selected events and episodes from this time-frame to highlight and give appreciation to the pioneers of robotics in Hungary. The authors demonstrate the harmonized vision for the next decade, how the manufacturing in Europe might deepen research in robotics and in Bio-transition in manufacturing.

Most current tour guiding methods for Taiwanese temples employ graphic webpage frameworks combined with captioned pictures for introduction. This type of tour guiding lacks interactive presence. In addition, the audience may not be able to focus on browsing webpages or learn essential information from the introduction. This study adopted the Delphi method to evaluate the current developed system. This system was aimed at designing VR-based interaction that differs from conventional tour guiding methods to aid users in viewing the display space from their viewpoints. Users can not only control camera view angles but also select the paths and guiding information as if they were walking in the temple. The analysis results revealed that in general, the users perceived Web VR tour guiding as convenient and easy to use. The display and content of the tour guiding system presented clear information to the users, aiding them in gaining further understanding of the introduced item. Finally, the study results can serve as a reference for design research on VR applications in tour guiding. © 2020 IEEE.

The COVID-19 epidemic began in Wuhan, China and has now expanded to the majority of a world’s nations. The propagation of a pandemic is primarily determined according to each country’s policies and social responsibilities. As per the WHO, the attack rate for 23 June 2020 is estimated to be between 1.4 and 2.5. In comparison to industrialized nations, India’s position is rather manageable. It would be fascinating to learn about the facts and data surrounding corona cases throughout India. On world meters, many forms of data are provided. We aimed to assess similar information for India and created several predictions on the impacted rate, daily new cases, and daily total completed cases, among others. COVID-19 has cruelly stopped everything within civilization. An examination of COVID-19 records to determine which age groups are the most affected by the virus. Various Machine learning is used to develop predictive model. Algorithms as well as their related performance data are calculated and analysed. Regressor Random Forest and Random Forest The classification algorithm beat all other machine learning algorithm. such as Support Vector Machine, KNN+, Neighbourhood Component Analysis, decision tree classification, and Gaussian Classifier naive Bayesian, Multi linear Regression, various Logistic Classifiers based on the regression technique and the Extreme Gradient Boosting algorithm.

In order to solve the bufferbloat problem, many Active Queue Management (AQM) algorithms have been proposed, such as Random Early Detection (RED), Proportional Integral controller Enhanced (PIE), controlled Delay (CoDel), etc. Among them, CoDel has widely been adapted by devices at the last mile. It maintains the sojourn times of transmitted packets and compares them to a pre-defined target time. When the packet's sojourn time exceeds this target, it is interpreted as an evidence of bufferbloat and CoDel applies its drop strategy. This paper examines how CoDel performs when instead of packet dropping the Explicit Congestion Notification (ECN) marking is applied, considering Reno, Cubic and BRR congestion control algorithms in the TCP flows. The evaluation relies on the Programming Protocol-independent Packet Processors (P4) implementation of CoDel, extending it with mechanisms needed for ECN support. Results show that ECN-CoDel can significantly reduce the number of re-transmissions and properly work with classic congestion controls like TCP Cubic and TCP Reno. For TCP BBR, almost zero packet drop ratio can be experienced, but the queue delay is higher than with the original CoDel. Based on the results of this work, the characteristics of the universe AQM had been drawn in the conclusion. © 2020 IEEE.

This paper addresses the analysis of machine learning (ML) effectiveness in learning analytics context. Four different machine learning approaches are evaluated. The results offer information about the usefulness of these approaches and help to decide which of the approaches is the most promising one in learning analytics application. Results substantiate that the neural networks ML model trained on our learning management system (LMS) data exhibits the best performance for predicting the students' academic performance. In our future research, predictive model results will be explained within a pedagogical context in order to be used as part of student support mechanism. © 2019 IEEE.

This paper explains about the two interconnected areas with the inclusion of renewable energy sources processed by robust controller in MATLAB environment. For critical evaluation of the model, recently used concentrating solar plant (CSP) is included and rigorously examined through artificial bee colony (ABC) algorithm optimized by proportional integral derivative (PID) controller. The enclosure of flexible alternating current transmission (FACT) equipment like unified power flow control (UPFC) creates the challenges in design process of the optimum controller. The improvising of the system is regulated with step and probable variation in loading condition. Finally, an overall enquiry regarding the sensitivity analysis is furnished with diverse loading. It is observed that ABC-optimized PID controller provides enhanced response than remaining controller. © 2020, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

This research is intended to improve students' learning results in problem solving on Subnetting materials by using learning modules. The research method uses experiments with True Experimental Design in the form of Post-test Only control Design. This method uses two randomly selected groups to be a control group and an experimental group. The control group was not given treatment, while the experimental group was given treatment. After giving treatment, both groups will be given the post-test to know the learning result from each group. Based on the research findings obtained from the hypothesis test, the average value learning control class is 69.88 and the experimental class is 84.90. Therefore, it can be concluded that the result of Subnetting material problem solving by using Project Based Learning module reach higher learning than the result which is not using Project Based Learning module. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The dimension of diagnosing and treating a patient has been dynamic, and the agony experienced by the patients has taken innumerable forms and measures in recent years. Morbidity rate has been drastically reduced with the intervention of technology and advancements in drugs and medicines, and there are some unsettled scores, which are of greater concern to doctors and technologists pioneering in the healthcare industry as well. Most of the disease prediction models and techniques have been tweaked to the greatest extent, and they have evolved in due course to be the cornerstone in patient diagnosis. One specific matter of concern that needs to be focused on for the betterment of the patients is the prediction of odious regions that scathe the very existence and functionality of the human brain. Such regions are embedded deep within the brain, posing a severe challenge to the radiologists in the process of diagnosis, and causing greater harm to the patients’ health as well. The combo of Fuzzy based clustering and optimization technique methodology recommended through this paper addresses the issue mentioned, and it really supports in augmenting the patient diagnosis processes. The competency of the methodology insinuated through this paper has been validated and justified using some of the benchmark metrics such as MSE, PSNR, TC, DOI, computational time, and the values for the same have been found to be as 0.0043, 71.9869 dB, 30.487%, 46.632%, and 19.26 seconds, respectively. Some other positive traits of the algorithm developed are discussed in-depth in this paper, and they will be of matter of importance/significance to doctors as well as technologists.
