In the context of evolving investment trends that enterprises gradually detach themselves from the investment, production and circulation of the real economy and turn to the virtual economy, the article explores the impact of intellectual capital on the financialization of enterprises by using the two-way fixed-effects model with the sample of non-financial listed enterprises in Shanghai and Shenzhen A-shares from 2016 to 2022. The empirical results show that intellectual capital is negatively related to corporate financialization. © 2025 The Authors.

This paper discusses the role of AI in various academic fields and its influence on the development of competitive talent. Reviewing existing literature on AI applications in science, engineering, arts, and more, it brings forth unique contributions to progress in each area. This paper will research cross-national disparities in the development of AI talent, how educational policies, as well as industrial demands, impact training. A mixed-method approach is used in the analysis, with data and case studies from various countries to understand AI talent development. AI applications vary across countries and fields, exposing gaps in policy and education. Advanced countries invest in AI healthcare research to take the lead in sophisticated diagnostic systems. It is in developing countries where AI helps most: increased productivity in agriculture. The priority and resources will be dictated by local needs. Education and its resources and initiatives are in place for talent development, guiding policymakers and industry leaders on how to develop AI. This will develop the expertise necessary for advancing global AI technology. For example, in the area of education, enough resources can be put in place to ensure that students are abreast of state-of-the-art facilities and knowledge. Interdisciplinary initiatives, such as the integration of computer science with psychology or sociology, can yield a comprehensive understanding of the interplay between artificial intelligence and human behavior as well as social structures. By acknowledging these factors, it is essential to formulate strategies that foster an ecosystem conducive to the growth of AI expertise and propel international advancements in AI technology. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s). With the continuous development of artificial intelligence (AI) and education, AI robots have participated in classroom teaching, forming a new teaching mode that effectively increases the interest and improves the effectiveness of classroom teaching. At the same time, it also reduces the workload of teachers to a certain extent. Considering that the theoretical system of robot assisted classroom teaching evaluation is not yet sound, this study combines the Kirkpatrick evaluation model and Bloom's taxonomy of educational objectives to establish a multi-level and diversified performance evaluation framework. The evaluation design research from four levels of perceptual expression, cognitive transfer, information processing and reflection summary. The data analysis focuses mainly on the experiential and effectiveness issues of teachers and students using robots in classroom teaching. A performance evaluation model and scale are constructed, and the questionnaire is designed to systematically collect the data of teachers and students using robots to assist classroom teaching, and to evaluate the changes in the level of performance development. © 2023 IEEE.

This work aims to showcase the significance of Vedic and Booth mathematics in the realm of Computer applications. Good precision, speed, area reduction, and low power consumption are primary features of a multiplier. Multiplication operations require speed and speed can be enhanced by decreasing the number of steps needed to complete the computation. The requirement for high-speed operations in digital devices has become a primary need nowadays. This research delves into two distinct multiplier algorithms - namely, the Vedic Multiplication Algorithm and the Booth Multiplication Algorithm - conducting an extensive exploration to determine through comparison which multiplier demonstrates superior performance across various metrics such as delay, power, and other commonly utilized performance indicators. While the Booth Algorithm involves a reduction in partial products, the Vedic Multiplication Algorithm is built on Urdhva Triyakbhyam sutra of Vedic Mathematics. The complete design, simulation, and synthesis procedures were executed through Xilinx Vivado, utilizing Verilog as the Hardware Description Language (HDL). The hardware implementation was conducted on an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array). © 2024 IEEE.

Human activity recognition (HAR) in video datasets is crucial for various applications, yet challenges persist in accurately identifying activities among diverse view and camera angles. Existing methods often struggle with rotational variations, leading to decreased recognition accuracy and performance gaps in real-world scenarios. To address this issue, this study proposes using Radial Fourier Profile (RFP) features extracted via 2D Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). RFP features inherently possess rotation invariance, offering a solution to the challenges posed by varying viewing conditions. The effectiveness of the proposed RFP feature extraction technique is evaluated using K-Nearest Neighbour (KNN) and Random Forest classifiers on UCF and HMDB datasets, representing diverse human activities and environmental conditions. Statistical tests, including ANOVA, are employed to assess the rotation invariance of RFP features. Results indicate significant improvements in activity recognition accuracy across various orientations, demonstrating the robustness of the proposed system. © 2024 IEEE.

In general, parallel applications require lots of computer power and grid computing. Efficient Resource Discovery (rd) algorithms determine grid resource allocation and execution time. To improve the resource distribution and reduce grid node communication costs, this study introduces hierarchical, weighted rd (Wrd). A behavioral modeling technique checks the algorithm's accuracy and efficacy. For complete analysis and simulation, StarUML implements a Wrd algorithm behavioral model. The NuSMV model checker evaluates reachability and deadlock-free rd. The Wrd algorithm is assessed using key performance metrics. To evaluate resource-finding efficiency, each request's inspected nodes are counted. The number of re-discovery operations shows the algorithm's resource flexibility. Algorithms that find free resources with high bandwidth links are also evaluated to optimize grid resource allocation. Resource information tables could improve resource location. Resource information is stored in a table to help the algorithm allocate resources. This research seeks to develop grid computing by solving rd problems. The hierarchical architecture and weighted resource selection of the Wrd algorithm improve resource inspection, flexibility, and high-bandwidth rd. Behavioral modeling and verification show the algorithm's accuracy and grid suitability. Wrd and resource information tables boost grid computing rd efficiency and efficacy. This research optimizes grid performance and resource allocation. © 2024 IEEE.

This research work is carried out to satisfy the requirements of developing industries. As per our today's requirements, safety plays a vital role in all industries. Also, a cost-effective system is required to maintain safety around our workplaces. By considering all the factors in mind, a flying robot system is made to instruct the employees to safeguard themselves by identifying near misses in the industries. The main aim of the work is to design a flying robot system with a camera to identify persons without safety equipment. So, every half an hour the images will be automatically captured by the surveillance drone and sent to the ground station which is operated by the OpenCV library for tracking objects like monitoring the crowd, detecting fire, and near misses to safeguard the employees from accidents. Here, a functional prototype is developed to achieve the goals and implement it in industrial applications. © 2023 IEEE.

The application of AI-assisted teaching has become a global trend. Artificial intelligence was first proposed by John McCarthy. Early AI education applications were mainly concentrated in intelligent tutoring systems, which provided students with one-to-one tutoring support through tracking and analysis of user portraits and usage data. This study aims to construct an AI-assisted education system model through questionnaire analysis. Relevant questionnaires were designed, and factor analysis was performed using SPSS 25.0 to obtain eight dimensions of the AI-assisted teaching model: learning progress and behavior analysis, self-management and learning optimization, autonomous learning effectiveness management, learning content management, autonomous resource selection and design, resource integration and expansion support, individual skill improvement support, and personalized growth assistance. These findings provide a basis for the creation and updating of AI education models. In addition, through the use of UCINET software for visualization analysis, the results show that in the AI-assisted system, study assistance suggestions. This paper uses the optimized PID control algorithm to realize the angle control of the intelligent patrol wheeled robot. Because the servo motor control mode used is the absolute value type, each control only needs to give the absolute speed value required by the motor servo control, not the speed increment value, so the optimized position type PID control algorithm is used as the calculation method of output control. This method designs the lateral distance deviation control, steering closed-loop control, acceleration and deceleration control through the navigation control of the intelligent patrol wheeled robot, and realizes the lateral deviation control in the navigation process of the intelligent patrol wheeled robot and the dynamic acceleration and deceleration control when the speed changes. In order to test the navigation accuracy of the navigation system, this paper also conducts navigation experiments under the simulation environment of the intelligent patrol wheeled robot, which verifies the effectiveness of the navigation algorithm. © 2023 IEEE.

Unified Military Vehicular Sensor Network (UM-VSNET) aims to build a multi-base vehicular sensor network using aerial, land-based, and underwater sensor nodes under a single architecture. The future VSNET used in military environments requires secure and unified control optimization strategies at various war bases such as land, air, sea surface, and undersea. The unmanned army vehicles used in land, air, sea, and undersea environments get more crucial spots to counter any vulnerabilities and provide sustainable electronic battlefield security features. The recent works in this domain have limitations on heterogeneous and multi-medium handover opportunities. Most of the existing mechanisms mainly execute uniform handover protocols among wireless nodes. These are insufficient for unified military vehicular networks since they are more versatile regarding medium principles, internal resources, functional targets, security expectations, and autonomous capabilities. On the scope, the proposed model initiates heterogeneous handover principles with Artificial intelligence (AI) and interactive autonomous capabilities. The proposed research creates Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), terrestrial mobile, and maritime network models with crucial configuration parameters. The article proposes Multi-Medium Handover Transactions with Interactive and Protected Self-intelligence Principles for Unified Vehicular Sensor Networks (MH-IPUV) on the developed network platform. MH-IPUV consists of heterogeneous medium access control policies, vehicular mobility models (aerial, land, and sea), distributed confidential (Advanced Encryption Standard, AES) and authentication procedures (Elliptic Curve Cryptography-Digital Signature, ECCDS), Secure Hashing Algorithm (SHA-3), and secure AI-based handover principles.
