In this paper, a methodology to design and develop basic circuit components to reduce electronic waste and utilize renewable materials in the context of sustainable development is proposed. This utilizes an innovative approach of pen-on-paper-based dynamically tunable flexible electrical components, which provides flexibility to develop basic circuit components of user-defined values. The basic components, such as resistors, capacitors, and transistors are developed on a paper substrate using a graphite pencil, and corresponding performance analysis is carried out. Finally, a paper-based capacitive touch sensor is also proposed for human-machine interaction. These devices can not only be used as sensors, but they also find their applications in wearable security solutions and smart access control systems to elevate safety and protection in smart cities. © 2024 IEEE.

With the continuous development of computer and artificial intelligence technology, image recognition technology, as an important branch of artificial intelligence, has been widely used in various fields of daily production and life. The demand of e-commerce platform for a large number of clothing classification is also increasing. In this paper, LSTM and AlexNet deep learning network are used to construct the clothing image classification model to realize the classification and detection of clothing images;At the same time, based on the yolov5 deep learning detection model, combined with shufflenet, improve its backbone network to further improve the accuracy of garment image classification and detection. Experiments show that on the fashionmnist dataset, the accuracy and precision of LSTM and AlexNet are about 87%, while the improved yolov5 accuracy and precision are about 98%. © 2022 IEEE.

Artificial intelligence (AI) has penetrated our lives by way of web search engines and mobile applications. AI-based Automated Essay Scoring (AES) is playing an increasingly important role in the field of education. This study explored the relationship between students' perceived interactivity of AES and their individual innovativeness as well as their reflective thinking about AES, and how these variables influence their criticism of AES. This study employed Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) for the data analysis. Valid data were collected from 442 students (40.05% male, 59.95% female, average age= 19.7) who had experience of AVE in private universities in China. The findings showed that: (a) Students' perceived interactivity of AES positively affected their individual innovativeness and reflective thinking about AES;(b) Students' individual innovativeness of AES positively affected their reflective thinking and criticism of AES;and (c) Students' perceived interactivity and reflective thinking about AES did not positively affect their criticism of AES. The findings not only revealed students' attitudes towards and experiences of this technological tool, but also provide valuable support for enhancing teaching effectiveness and improving teaching methods. © 2024 IEEE.

Perceived Behavioral Control (PBC), a central element of the Theory of Planned Behavior, is essential for understanding and predicting human behavior across diverse fields such as psychology, business, and education. PBC refers to an individual's perceived ease or difficulty in executing a particular behavior. This study employs the Dimensions database and advanced bibliometric tools, leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms to investigate the global influence and utilization of PBC. The analysis identifies key trends in PBC research, leading contributors, prominent institutions, and its interdisciplinary scope, particularly focusing on the intersection of PBC with technology adoption and human-computer interaction. Data from 68 countries highlight major contributions from China and Indonesia. Noteworthy institutions include Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, University of Malaya, and Binus University, with influential researchers such as Meng Bo and Arkorful. Leading journals such as Sustainability and the international Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health reflect PBC's interdisciplinary significance, particularly in the context of technological advancements and digital behavior analysis. Key-word co-occurrence analysis reveals PBC's frequent associations with attitudes, intentions, and subjective norms, which are crucial to the Theory of Planned Behavior and its application in technology acceptance models. This study underscores PBC's global significance in behavior prediction, showcasing its widespread application and the international collaboration fueling current research. By incorporating advanced data analytics and machine learning techniques, this research lays the groundwork for future studies to delve deeper into PBC's implications and applications in the realm of technology and digital interactions, making significant contributions to the IEEE community. © 2024 IEEE.

In multi-robot systems, task allocation and collaborative planning can become less efficient and less successful as the number of tasks and the complexity of the target map increase. These challenges can even lead to search failures. To address these issues, this paper proposes a novel approach that employs a region segmentation algorithm to divide the task space into sub-regions. Subsequently, task allocation and collaborative planning are performed within each sub-region. The approach utilizes a sub-mother car unmanned platform, where the mother car is responsible for carrying and charging the sub-cars. The sub-cars, in turn, carry out the assigned tasks. Comparative experiments with the traditional ECBS-TA algorithm demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. It improves the success rate, reduces runtime, and extends the applicability of the traditional ECBS-TA algorithm to large maps and environments with complex obstacles. © Beijing HIWING Scientific and Technological Information Institute 2024.

The famous category of gadgets now includes whole new and quickly developing devices thanks to wearable technology. Wearable technology has the ability to provide artificial intelligence (AI) techniques with a wealth of useful data, in addition to being attractive and outfitted with cutting-edge hardware technologies like communication modules and networking in next generation. Numerous projects have previously been completed using a variety of AI approaches, including monitored, unattended, semi-supervised, and reinforcement learning (RL). This article examines contemporary wearable apps that have used AI to accomplish their goals. Users cover specific examples of both supervised and unsupervised applications in medical diagnosis. Additionally, instances fusing RL, wearables, and the web of things are discussed. Wearables application samples for particular industries, including the healthcare, commercial, & sporting fields, are also provided. Implications in medicine range from personal exercise to mobility disorders and mental wellness. The use of wearables in the workplace includes improving productivity of employees. The main goal of sports programs is to improve the client satisfaction through exercise or competitive *** biggest issues with wearable device creation and creation as well as the computational cost of applying AI techniques are discussed. Aiming at the transport of biological samples under low temperature environment, a sample transport robot based on visual SLAM navigation was designed to complete the transport of sample tubes under low temperature cold storage environment. SLAM uses RGB-D SLAM three-thread scheme to complete real-time localization and mapping. The algorithm is improved considering that the actual environment is static stability and sufficient illumination, and the front-end odometer is prone to mismatching and the data association time. An improved "FAST-BRIEF-COUPLING" loosely coupled data association strategy is proposed to provide more response time for back-end optimization threads and global pose map optimization. Through the simulation environment experiment, the real-time and robust performance of the algorithm can meet the needs of practical applications. © 2024 SPIE.

Because smart cities are complex and interdependent, managing them involves dealing with political, technological, and socioeconomic challenges for many organizations. Since a few years back, a lot of literary works have concentrated on privacy, dangers, security and problems with the architecture of smart cities. These all factors mainly concern data processing and its management. This research primarily focuses on important difficulties, offers a thorough analysis of the literature, and makes recommendations for creating a framework for smart cities that primarily highlights the security and privacy elements. Learning platforms have become an integral part of the education system these days. Especially after the COVID era, education has become more allied with self-paced and remote learning and learning platforms have made it boom exponentially. Improper construction and implementation of such platforms can lead to huge risks for the users and the company. Data security is not taken much care of while building such platforms;instead, concentration is given to fancy front-end pages and attractive interfaces. This may not be good at all times. Data is one of the most powerful resources and can have a very big impact if misused. This paper proposes a networking-based approach to implementing such platform systems in a safe and organized way. Implementation using networking concepts gives a better hand in managing permissions, access rights, and security in all data-related transfers and communications. In terms of online gaming and real-time video communication, User Datagram Protocol (UDP) is often used because it is faster than Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) and is well-suited for real-time applications that cannot tolerate delays. UDP is a connectionless protocol, which means it doesn't retransmit lost data and therefore has lower overhead, making it a good choice for real-time applications like video conferencing and online gaming. Examples of such applications include Skype, Google Meet, Zoom, and Facetime. Based on these existing applications, this work introduces UDP in the field of Learning Platform applications and builds a model on top of which real-time applications can be constructed. The proposed system makes use of UDP for all its requests, responses, and file transfers. The protocol itself is not very reliable, but the addition of provisions for acknowledgements in all requests and responses makes this system overcome transfer uncertainty.
