In order to ensure the voltage stability of AC / DC hybrid distribution system and the coordination and interaction between AC subnet and DC, a flexible power control method for AC / DC hybrid distribution system based on multidimensional data is proposed. A multidimensional data analysis model is established to deeply mine the operation data of AC/DC hybrid distribution system. The power flow calculation model of flexible distribution unit is constructed to calculate the power flow results of AC port and DC port of flexible distribution unit. The control strategy of ac/dc converter and dc/dc converter of flexible distribution unit is adopted to realize the mutual coordination of AC and dc subnet power. The test results show that the multi-dimensional data analysis effect of this method is good, the operation data of AC / DC hybrid distribution system can be obtained in depth, and the application is good. After application, the load capacity is 606.81kb Above s-1, the converter's current power is about 1.0pu, which can well complete the power interaction between the AC subnet and the DC subnet. © 2023 IEEE.

Traditional design methods, which depend on the experience of designers, make it difficult to meet the requirement of fast design due to the increasingly complex aircraft thermal management system (TMS). Therefore, this paper investigates the architectural design of TMS by the graph theory, and the intelligent optimization algorithm optimizes the flow rate of aircraft TMS. Firstly, the topology architectures of the aircraft TMS are generated by the enumeration method based on the component catalog and corresponding network structure constraints. In the topology architectures, the labeled graphs represent the TMS architectures, and physics-based models located in the graph nodes are used to evaluate the performance of each aircraft's TMS architecture. Secondly, to give the appropriate flow rate, this paper optimizes the flow rate for each aircraft TMS architecture by the intelligent optimization algorithm, and thus, the optimal flow rate and aircraft TMS architecture are obtained. Finally, the fuel circulation sub-system and environmental control sub-system of the aircraft TMS are used to verify the performance of this paper, and the results show that this paper's work can be applied to the sub-system of the aircraft TMS and the optimal flow rate and TMS architecture can be obtained by this paper's strategy. © 2023 IEEE.

In order to avoid the independent on-line monitoring devices of transformers and the lack of unified data interfaces for various sensing devices, a broadband current array sensing system is proposed. The system includes high frequency current, core grounding current, power frequency current, over-voltage current and other sensing networks. The system is a causal linear time invariant system, based on stable control principle, the improved adaptive fault estimation algorithm is proposed, and system stability is calculated based on the system dynamics model and transfer function.

Addressing the challenge of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) navigating indoors without satellite positioning, this study introduces a novel method combining binocular camera and inertial measurement unit (IMU) data. This approach overcomes the structural differences between visual and inertial information, integrating them effectively for enhanced indoor autonomous navigation. The research presents a gradient-free path planning framework, pivotal for enhancing the UAV's ability to execute efficient and stable flight in intricate indoor settings. The cornerstone of this system is an advanced path planning algorithm, adept at swiftly identifying optimal routes and adapting to environmental shifts. The system's efficacy was rigorously evaluated through simulations and real-world tests, confirming its precision in positioning and path planning without reliance on satellite data. The findings demonstrate the system's capacity for precise localization and effective route determination, utilizing an integration of visual and inertial inputs. This research significantly contributes to the autonomous flight capabilities of UAVs, offering a valuable reference for future UAV autonomous navigation systems. By delving into visual-inertial fusion navigation technology, the study paves the way for expanded indoor UAV applications. © 2023 IEEE.

The economic sector includes agriculture as a major player. Around the world, the primary issue and hot topic is agriculture automation. As a result of the population boom, there is a huge increase in the need for both jobs and food. Farmers employed traditional techniques, which included insufficient to meet these needs. This led to the introduction of new automated techniques. These innovative techniques supplied the world's food needs while giving billions of people access to jobs. An agricultural revolution has been sparked by artificial intelligence. With the use of this technology, crop yields are now more resistant to many conditions like population increase, climate change, job troubles, and food security concerns. The primary goal of this study is to evaluate the numerous ways artificial intelligence is being used in agriculture, including the use of sensors and other tools built into drones and robots for weeding, spraying, and irrigation. The excessive use of pesticides, herbicides, water, and other resources is reduced by these technologies, and the soil fertility is maintained. They also aid in the effective use of labor, which raises productivity and quality. In order to provide a concise summary of the current state of agricultural automation, including the use of drones and robots for weeding, this study analyses the research of several researchers. Along with two automated weeding strategies, the various ways of soil water sensing are described. This study discusses the use of drones as well as the numerous spraying and crop monitoring techniques that may be utilized with them. © 2023 IEEE.

To address the inaccuracy of the observed rotor position caused by the large estimated back-electromotive force harmonics of the high-speed permanent magnet synchronous motor (HSPMSM) under the conventional sliding mode observer, this paper presents an adaptive full-order sliding mode observer for back-electromotive force (EMF) based on the accurate mathematical model of the HSPMSM in the discrete-time domain. The accuracy of the sliding mode observer is improved under high-speed operating conditions by using the proposed method. To further reduce the harmonic component of the observed back EMF, a synchronous fundamental frequency extraction filter (SFEF) is used to obtain the back EMF, and then, the extracted observed EMF is fed in;to the normalized phase-locked loop to obtain the rotor position. The simulation results in Matlab are presented to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method. (c) 2023 Published by Elsevier Ltd. In this article, the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) regulators and integral sliding mode with optimal control-based controllers are proposed for the current-controlled electromagnetic levitation system (CC-EMLS). The Takagi-Sugeno regulator is designed using the parallel distributed compensator (PDC) and negative absolute eigenvalue (NAE) for achieving the set-point of the levitating steel ball. The Takagi-Sugeno regulator is not suitable for systems with significant uncertainties and cannot handle large-scale models because in the process of gain calculation it requires many linear models. A sliding mode controller (SMC) is therefore developed to deal with the uncertainties in the system model. The chattering effect is observed in the sliding mode control technique. The integral sliding mode control (ISM) provides the chatter-free control input that protects the system from becoming unstable, and optimal control in the ISMC provides the necessary action for tracking the desired position. The effectiveness of the proposed control techniques is compared by adding the disturbance to the levitating object mass. The designed controllers are robust enough to cater to external disturbances and parameter variations. The transient and steady-state performances of the system are analyzed for the designed controllers in terms of integral errors such as ISE, IAE, ITSE, and ITAE. Simulation experiments presented in the article validate the performance claim and robustness of the proposed controller for the magnetic levitation system. © 2023 IEEE.

Trajectory tracking is a critical issue in the field of mobile robotics. This paper aims to design and implement a backstepping PID controller for trajectory tracking of a differential drive-wheeled mobile robot, evaluating the practical performance of this controller. Initially, we design and construct the robot. We then develop detailed kinematic and dynamic models for the robot and create a controller that integrates backstepping and PID techniques based on these models. A simulation model based on the actual parameters of the robot is subsequently developed. Finally, experiments are conducted to validate the effectiveness of the proposed controller. The experimental process involved a circular trajectory with a radius of 1.5 m, resulting in minimal orbital errors ranging from –0.01 m to 0.01 m. These results confirm the effectiveness of the backstepping PID controller, demonstrating its practical applicability for mobile robot trajectory tracking. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

Congestion control has been widely investigated and become an essential issue in transport network especially for peak period. However, existing methods are concentrated on congestion detection and utilize the transmission dynamics to analyze the characteristics of network congestion, which ignores the development of avoiding congestion occurrences and providing the possible solution for congestion situation. Therefore, we utilize the convolutional neural network to arrange the vehicles with limited routes to avoid the transport congestion. Initially, we collect the transport network and number of existing vehicles information about Chaozhou, which is a city in China. Subsequently, a convolutional neural network is established to dispose the congestion issue when the transport network in peak period. The neural network contains the convolution layer, data pro-processing layer, softmax to optimize the output and a full-connected layer as obtaining the final results. At last, two compared congestion control mathematical models are also simulated in same situation to evaluate our trained neural network. From our extensive experimental results, we can conclude that our proposed method can effectively avoid the occurrences of transport congestion and contain reasonable computation costs compared with existing congestion control algorithms. © 2023 SPIE.

C523 vertical lathe control circuit uses a relay control method, which has some disadvantages including large size, complex wiring, high failure rate, and maintenance difficulties. To solve these problems, a C523 vertical lathe control circuit based on PLC is designed. The electronic requirements of the control circuits, basis of PLC selection, the hardware connection and software design are described. Practice has shown that the PLC control circuit is simple, reliable and can highly improve the production efficiency. © 2023 SPIE.
