As one of the key infrastructures for smart grids in power systems, the power information acquisition system based on a power line carrier (PLC) realizes the exchange of information in the whole network. With the power grid's scale increasing, the types of services and the amount of data grow fast. PLC faces the problem of constrained channel resources and a limited utilization rate of communication resources. This paper proposes a service flow-differentiated priority-driven PLC routing algorithm that considers the different transmission delay requirements of services with differentiated priorities. By introducing the price-rising matching of service flow priority, it can make routing link selection decisions for devices so that the differentiated delay requirements of different service flow requirements are guaranteed. Simulations show that the proposed algorithm improves the network load balancing degree and reduces the service flow delay. © 2023 IEEE.

New technologies are being used in industry automation, like service, and communications. Industry 4.0 is the next fourth industrial revolution that promotes organisational effectiveness. Automation is an exponentially growing field with various challenges. Robotic arms also known as articulated robotic arms, are widely used in the process of automation in industry 4.0. The main function of automation using robotic arms is to perform a given task repeatedly, which is greatly reducing the manual efforts and increasing the efficiency of the task performed. This paper consists of the development of a three-axis robotic arm for industry 4.0, which performs the instantly learned task repeatedly. This is designed using a servo system for more accuracy and an analog system to control the servo system using an Arduino UNO microcontroller. The designed 3-axis robotic arm performs various operations and basic services which may be difficult for human being to do so and shows accurate and fast performance in industry operations to enhance more productivity. © 2023 IEEE.

To timely and reliably complete the remote identification and fault location of different types of HV circuit breakers, a remote identification method of HV circuit breakers' thermal fault location based on non-contact ultrasonic infrared thermal imaging was proposed. In this method, non-contact ultrasonic infrared technology is used to obtain the temperature change results of the HV circuit breaker surface fault and generate the infrared thermal image of the surface temperature of the HV circuit breaker. The limited contrast adaptive histogram equalization algorithm is used to process the generated infrared thermal image, enhance the contrast of the thermal image, and enhance the quality of the thermal image. The enhanced infrared thermal image was input into the improved region full convolutional network to identify the thermal faults of HV circuit breakers. The test results show that the proposed method can reliably calculate the temperature results of the temperature field of the HV circuit breaker, effectively remove the noise in the ultrasonic infrared thermal image, improve the clarity of the infrared thermal image, and distinguish the gray difference between the normal area and the fault area. We can accurately identify internal and external faults, among which the maximum error of fault center location is (0.00, 0.02). © 2023 IEEE.

At present, the waveforms generated in the power system are more and more complex, not only a single sinusoidal current, the pulsating DC component and the smooth DC component are often generated when the fault occurs. But the traditional AC residual current protector can only detect the AC residual current, and can not protect this complex waveform signal. In this paper, the pulsating DC residual current is studied, and a residual current detection method based on Fourier transform is proposed. It can effectively identify the residual current waveform, and set threshold according to different waveforms. It can accurately detect the residual current, but its anti-interference ability is poor. In order to solve the problem of anti-interference, a residual current detection method based on Kalman filter is proposed. The predicted value of Kalman filter is obtained after the generated residual current is filtered, and the threshold of the action of the system protection device can be set according to the predicted value. Simulation results show that this method can effectively improve the anti-interference ability of the system. © 2023 IEEE.

Aiming at the failure problem of the silver plating layer of the waveguide falling off under the action of thermal stress during the vacuum thermal test of the spacecraft, and the problem that the amplitude consistency requirements of the radio frequency channel of the thermal test are not easy to achieve, the temperature control device filled with composite phase change material is proposed to control the temperature of the waveguide during the vacuum thermal test, and the countergravity direction and paragravity direction of this scheme and other two schemes (fins and aluminum blocks) of this scheme are simulated by Thermal Desktop software. According to the simulation results, the advantages, disadvantages and scope of application of each scheme are analyzed and summarized. The paragravity phase change device scheme is adopted for temperature control, and the peak temperature of the waveguide is reduced by nearly 20% compared with that without thermal control treatment. © 2023 SPIE.

In order to realize the automatic control of electronic air pressure valve, this paper establishes an automatic control system based on STM32f103c8t6 core *** at the problems of low precision, easy "step loss" and "stall" of open-loop motor control, this paper designs a closed-loop control algorithm based on magnetic encoder, which greatly improves the control accuracy and system stability, and effectively avoids the problem of motor stall. The system also automatically adjusts the opening and closing of the air pressure valve according to the pressure value measured by the barometric pressure sensor. The experimental results show that the control system can realize the functions of automatic adjustment of multipipeline pressure and closed-loop self-test. © 2023 SPIE.

Field oriented control (FOC) technique is popular in permanent magnet synchronous motor drives (PMSM) for their decoupled torque and flux control. However, the performance of the FOC technique in PMSM mainly depends on the design values of the PI controller. So, the design of the PI controller parameter is critical. Conventional technique employed for the design of the PI controller has limited bandwidth, slow and oscillatory response and are sensitive to the motor parameters variation. This paper proposed a design technique that overcomes the above-given issues of the conventional PI controller. The proposed design of the PI controller parameter has no constraint of bandwidth and has a faster transient response due to the chosen constraint of proportional and integral gain ratio. Further, the proposed design has the benefits of precise and fast control of speed and torque in four-quadrant operation, accurate and fast control at low speed, good transient response, insensitive towards motor parameter variation, and simple real-time computation. Mathematical analysis is done to design the proposed controllers and analytically tested by plotting the open loop frequency response of the system. Simulation is done for field-oriented controlled PMSM (FOC-PMSM) to check the operation of the system with proposed PI controllers in MATLAB Simulink. © 2023 IEEE.

The drinking water crisis is one of the prime issues in all over the world. Almost half of the populations of the world isolated from this blessing. Insufficiency of electricity plays a great role in their situations, as without electricity we cannot run a pump. Renewable energy is one of the suitable answers to solve the problem. The most effective resources of renewable energy are solar energy, which could solve this crisis. This research presents a performance analysis of the solar-based water pump controlling system and water quality measuring system using arduino mega. The main objective of this research is to automatically control the water pump and single-axis tracking for solar. Besides, the pH and turbidity of the reserve tank water show into the liquid crystal display (LCD) by using arduino's command. If the turbidity sensor senses the water is polluted then the automatically send the tank's water to the filter for purifying and if the pH level of the water is high or low, the device automatically stops sending the water to the supply. In both cases turbidity low, pH high, and low), the GSM module sends a warning notification to the selected cellular device by using the arduino's command. This work is divided into two parts hardware and software systems. In the hardware part, four light dependent resistors (LDR) are used to sense the maximum light side from the sun. One linear actuator used to move the solar panel to the maximum light source location perceived by the LDRs. In the software part, the code is written by using C programming language and has targeted to the arduino mega controller. In this idea, arduino mega controls the whole thing. An automatic water pump can reduce the loss of pure water. © 2023 IEEE.

An active mass damping tuner is one of the most commonly used active control equipment in engineering, which is used to reduce the structure vibration caused by dynamic load. It includes a mass damper system with an actuator, and the difficulty is the design of the controller. In this paper, the data-driven adaptive dynamic programming control algorithm is proposed. The adaptive dynamic programming algorithm based on data-driven is improved by introducing a new Actor-Critic-Disturbance network, which can effectively deal with the optimal controller design problem under external disturbances. The active controller is designed and verified by simulation and experiment. The active controller is designed to suppress the vibration of the one-story structure produced by Quanser Company. The simulation and experiment results show that the controller can greatly reduce the vibration response of the structure. © 2025 Institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved.

This work presents a sensorless control scheme for a solar photovoltaic (PV) battery fed permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive for three wheeler vehicles application. In addition to this., an approach to vehicle design., modeling and energy calculations based on the Indian driving cycle (IDC) is analyzed. The system consists a battery., which is directly connected to DC link., while a rooftop solar PV panel is installed to regulate battery performance. To extract the peak power in various environmental conditions., a modified Perturb and Observe (P&O) technique is utilized., which improves the dynamic speed during sudden change in irradiance as well as steady state error. Furthermore., an adaptive flux observer (AFO) based sensorless technique is utilized for speed and position estimation. The presented speed and position sensorless technique is developed to eliminated DC offset and harmonics from the estimated flux with a simple structure. The adaptive nature of this observer makes it effective for wide range of speed. The validity and performance of the system are assessed with various obtained results. © 2023 IEEE.
