In a WSN, sensors may be placed in a dangerous or unfriendly environment. Most sensors also have constrained data-transfer rates, processing power, and battery life. Therefore, it is difficult to guarantee the safety of WSN without negatively impacting the efficiency of the network. When it comes to enhancing the communication capabilities of WSN, network coding (NC) has great promise because of its potential to be both effective and efficient. However, network coding may be attacked maliciously. Safe findings have been proposed to deal with individual attacks, including data theoretic or cryptographic techniques, but they are vulnerable to attacks that combine several types of attacks. One such example is when pollution attacks and replay attacks are combined. We provide a secure detection service in this work. It monitors and manages every communications, both incoming and outgoing, and is deployed on every node in a WSN. TMAC is a lightweight timestamp-based communication verification code that is generated by the service using Exclusively OR network coding. To simultaneously prevent pollution assaults and replay attacks, a combined detection using TMAC and time synchronisation approach has been created. The detecting service's accuracy has been shown. Finally, the performance assessment demonstrates that the detection system uses less energy than existing joint detection schemes, and incurs only a marginal increase in communication capacity and computing complexity, when compared to MAC-based schemes. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presents a competitive deep reinforcement learning (DRL) structure for the robot control, the basic method of which is to make the two actors learn from each other with competition. And the improvement of training efficiency and learning ability of the competitive DRL model is verified by the experiments under the Gym environments. For the task of robot formation, we construct a cooperation mechanism exerting robot to take the optimal action due to the state and the next reward of other robots within a certain radius around based on the Kuhn-Munkres algorithm, to avoid collisions and blocking among robots. Lastly, we conduct the simulations with the above algorithms, and the results illustrate that the trained robots are capable of self-navigation, obstacle avoidance and formation without collisions. © 2023 SPIE.

In this paper, an adaptive tracking controller that takes into account actuator saturation is designed for a nonlinear system with arbitrary uncertainty. In traditional backstepping design, the virtual controller at each step requires repeated differentiation, which leads to design complexity explosion as the system order increases. By introducing a first-order filter and using dynamic surface control, the problem of design complexity explosion associated with traditional methods is solved. In addition, the RBF neural networks are used to solve the approximation problem of nonlinear functions. At the same time, in order to solve the common input saturation constraint problem in engineering, an auxiliary error compensation system is introduced to enable the controller to better cope with input saturation. Finally, Lyapunov stability analysis shows that the proposed control method ensures the stability of the closed-loop system and reduces the tracking error to a negligible level asymptotically. By introducing an anti-saturation auxiliary error compensation system in the controller, the system can be stabilized when input saturation occurs. © Beijing HIWING Scientific and Technological Information Institute 2024.

The influence of the power converters {multi pulse and multilevel} on the medium voltage drive, operating in steady state and dynamic conditions, is discussed in this paper. As a hybrid, multilevel inverters have been proved an important alternative to the conventional inverter in the medium voltage motor drive. Hence, to address the power quality challenge at the drive end of the medium-voltage drive, this paper exhibits a seven-level hybrid multilevel inverter for driving a medium-voltage drive. Here, the seven-level hybrid multilevel configuration is developed through the cascaded arrangement among the bridge configured NPC with the H-bridge. Furthermore, to address the power quality challenge at the grid end of the medium-voltage drive, fifty-four pulse AC-DC power converter is designed and developed, which also works as a power transforming converter among the DC-link's of exhibited hybrid multi-level inverter and grid supply. Here, the lower-order lower-order harmonics are effectively suppressed from the input source current waveform by the employing phase displacement technique on the multi-winding transformers. First, a thorough analysis of the power converter's design and operation is carried out for the medium voltage drive system. Second, the bio-inspired genetic algorithm is utilized to find out the optimized solution of the selective order harmonic trigonometric equation, which further helps in the effective suppression of the lower-order (5th and 7th) harmonics present in the output voltage waveform of the hybrid multilevel inverter. Moreover, a field-oriented control-based realistic drive is implemented with a much-simplified simulation. © 2023 IEEE.

In order to solve the multi-vehicle mutual occlusion problem encountered in 3D target detection by self-driving vehicles, this paper proposes a monocular 3D detection method that includes dynamic occlusion determination. The method adds a dynamic occlusion processing module to the CenterNet3D network framework to improve the accuracy of 3D target detection of occluded vehicles in the road. Specifically, the occlusion determination module of the method uses the 2D detection results extracted from target detection as the occlusion relationship determination condition, wherein the method of changing the occlusion determination threshold with the depth value is introduced. Then the occlusion compensation module is used to compensate and adjust the 3D detection results of the occurring occluded vehicles, and finally the 3D target detection results are output. The experimental results show that the method improves the accuracy of both vehicle center point detection and 3D dimensional detection results in the case of long-distance continuous vehicle occlusion. And compared with other existing methods, the accuracy of 3D detection results and bird's-eye view detection results are improved by 1%-2.64% in the case of intersection over union of 0.5. The method can compensate for the occluded vehicles in 3D target detection and improve the accuracy of 3D target detection. © 2023 SPIE.

Aiming at the problems of low detection efficiency and high labor cost for manual aerospace electronic components surface, this paper proposes a surface defect detection method based on machine vision. Firstly, based on the design of the components surface defect detection device, the characteristics of the surface image are analyzed. Then, the image is preprocessed by bilateral filtering algorithm and morphological operation, and the edge is removed while the noise is removed. Finally, the fast adaptive threshold is adopted. Segmentation to achieve defect detection on the components surface. The experimental results show that the detection method has a good detection effect on the surface of the components. The detection rate and false detection rate are 3.2% and3.8%, respectively, which provides a feasible solution for the detection of defects on the surface of aerospace electronic products. Has a certain practical value. © 2023 SPIE.

Substation is the core hub of power system. With the expansion of the scale of the power system and the improvement of its intelligence, the problems of the redundancy of architecture and equipment in the protection and monitoring system of substation can no longer be ignored. This paper proposes an evaluation method for integration in the protection and monitoring system based on G1 method. Firstly, according to the requirements of integration in the protection and monitoring system, the corresponding indicators are proposed to form an index system for evaluating integration. And then, an evaluation method is proposed for integration of the protection and monitoring system, based on G1 method and expert investigation. Finally, the feasibility of the evaluation method is verified by comparing and analyzing the evaluation results of a typical substation and its structural optimization substation. © 2023 IEEE.

To address the problem of heading control for Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) in autonomous navigation, this paper proposes an optimization algorithm based on an Improved Bacterial Foraging Algorithm(IBFA), which can optimize the heading control parameters of USV and improve the control performance. The original BFA has fixed search step size, many useless swimming steps, and rigid migration operation, which leads to long computation time and easy to fall into local optimum. To address these issues, this study designed an improved multi-dimensional adaptive step length strategy to adjust the algorithm step length automatically. Additionally, prior exploration techniques were utilized to optimize bacterial random swimming steps, enhancing the algorithm efficiency. An adaptive migration probability was used to make the algorithm’s dispersion step more in line with the optimization process. Finally, the improved algorithm was applied to the PID parameter optimization problem in the autonomous heading control of USV, and the effectiveness of the algorithm’s PID parameter optimization was verified through semi-physical simulation experiments. © Beijing HIWING Scientific and Technological Information Institute 2024.

Water pollution is the contamination of water sources by contaminants that render the water unfit for drinking, cooking, cleaning, swimming, and other uses. Pollutants include chemicals, waste, bacteria, and parasites. Traditional monitoring methods entail manually collecting water samples from vari-ous water resources, followed by testing and analysis in the laboratory. This procedure is frequently ineffective because itis time-consuming and does not produce results in real-Time. Water quality should be continuously monitored to ensure a safe supply of water to end users from any water resources or water bodies. Designing and creating a cost-effective system for real-Time monitoring of water quality utilising the Internet of Thingsis now required. A water vehicle is employed here to house the water quality monitoring system. The vehicle is self-contained, and set locations for measuring water quality can be provided. Using IoT devices and a Wi-Fi module, the proposed system aids in the continuous monitoring of water quality. The Wi-Fi moduleenables internet connectivity and sends sensor data to the Cloud. Various sensors are used to measure various factors in order to assess the water quality of water resources © 2023 IEEE.
