In the early days of the new crown epidemic, many medical staff were infected while treating patients, and if negative pressure isolation wards were used, it could effectively reduce the possibility of medical staff being infected in large numbers. Starting from the particularity of the negative pressure isolation ward, this project completes the design of the intelligent control system of the negative pressure isolation ward with reference to the environmental indicators formulated by the state. The system uses the embedded system to collect and process the environmental data of the negative pressure isolation ward, and combines the Internet of Things wireless communication technology to transmit the relevant information to the host computer for realtime display through wireless means;The system can automatically control and adjust the equipment in the ward according to the air pressure data, temperature and humidity data of different areas of the negative pressure isolation ward detected in real time;The system alerts when it detects that the environment has changed abnormally and exceeded the threshold set by the system. © 2023 IEEE.

UAVs, which stand for unmanned aerial vehicles, have become a common sight in both industrial and military settings over the past few decades. Because of its high stability and straightforward design, quadrotor UAVs have drawn a lot of attention from researchers studying UAV applications. The mobile landing technology of quadrotor UAV mainly includes three key steps: target detection, target tracking, and mobile landing. In order to improve the adaptive capability and stability of the quadrotor UAV, this paper proposes a fuzzy PID-based control method, which adjusts the PID parameters by fuzzy in order to improve the traditional PID controller. The use of fuzzy PID control helps to make the UAV flight more stable and responsive, thus achieving accurate identification and tracking of moving targets as well as successful landing. This control method provides a more flexible and effective solution for quadrotor UAV applications. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presents a novel current harmonic compensation based modified Field-Oriented-control (FOC) for permanent magnet BLDC motor to mitigate torque ripples. A brief analysis of conventional vector control of PMBLDC motor is presented. The proposed FOC for BLDC motor is based on harmonic compensation of stator current. To implement the current harmonic compensation the harmonic analysis of back emf in rotor reference frame has been carried out. To track harmonic components a Proportional-Resonant (P-R) based current controller is designed considering motor drive parameters and desired dynamic performance. The proposed method rejects all the torque ripples without compromising the dynamic response of motor drive. Validation of this modified control is validated using MATLAB/SIMULINK environment and experimental setup both. © 2023 IEEE.

The detection of Glial Fibrillary Acidic Protein (GFAP) is a crucial biomarker for diagnosing neurological conditions such as traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and astrocytoma. This paper presents the design and analysis of a novel microfluidic Lab-on-a-Chip (LoC) platform for GFAP biomarker detection. The system integrates microfluidic channels with embedded gold nanoparticle-functionalized electrochemical sensors for high-sensitivity biomarker capture. The microfluidic chip is designed using soft lithography and PDMS (Polydimethylsiloxane), allowing for precise fluid handling and minimal sample consumption. The electrochemical sensors generate voltage signals corresponding to GFAP concentration levels, which are processed using digital filtering techniques to mitigate noise and improve signal quality. For accurate biomarker quantification, machine learning algorithms, including Random Forest ,KNN and Support Vector Machine (SVM), are employed to classify sensor output data into clinically significant concentration ranges. The model is trained on both simulated and experimentally collected sensor data, achieving an accuracy of over 93 percent in distinguishing low (below 50 ng/mL) and high (above 50 ng/mL) GFAP concentrations. The combination of microfluidic precision, sensitive electrochemical detection, and data analysis enables rapid and reliable detection of GFAP , providing a scalable and portable solution for early diagnosis of brain injuries and neurodegenerative diseases. This system highlights the potential of integrating microfluidics and machine learning in next-generation point-of-care diagnostic devices. © 2024 IEEE.

The controller's primary responsibility in the process industry is eliminating numerous disruptions and maintaining stability. Like any process tank, the shape is crucial in the design of regulators. To lessen land and water pollution, wastewater treatment facilities are becoming increasingly common in many industrial and organizational sectors. Conical tanks are crucial components of sewage treatment facilities. In wastewater applications where the tank must be empty, cone bottom tanks are utilized to stop sludge from the tank from getting into the subsequent operations. Conical tanks are used in the process sector because it is simple to empty their contents. controlling the level of liquid is an essential responsibility in many operations. In this research, the liquid level is managed in a conical tank system without interactions. Level control is incredibly challenging for conical tanks because of their non-linear features and wide range of size and diameter. Current methodologies incorporate Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) controllers in their control systems. 90% of automated controllers used in the process sector are PID controllers, the foundation for many sophisticated control algorithms and techniques. PID controllers are the industry standard for feedback control, and are commonly used in linear systems because of their simplicity, versatility, and effectiveness. However, the presence of non-linearities in the process can limit their applicability. This study describes the maintaining process levels at specified operating conditions and achieving optimal performance using a fuzzy-tuned PID controller. © 2023 IEEE.

To solve the Denial of service (DoS) attack problem in communication channel between sensor node and controller node in Cyber physical system, a multi-step compensation control strategy was proposed. Firstly, a DoS attack model is established based on the existence of multiple sampling periods in a single control period. Secondly, under the condition of DoS attack, one constructed object simulator is used to simulate the state information lost by receiving the latest transmitted state and control information successfully. Finally, through the simulation input and double output a plant with double, it is shown that the multi-step compensation control strategy can make the system run stably in a certain control period. ©2023 IEEE.

Transferring the object from one place to another place or point is an art of control system. It enables the high-speed operation, more accurate and precise control of the object. Metal cutting systems, palletizing operation, packing system...etc are demanding the precise control of the machine and most of the machines are driven by the servo motors. The moving object may be subjected to jerk or vibration if the time vs speed curve is not properly designed. Higher rate of change of speed leads to the jerk in the object and higher deceleration also causes the vibration in the object. Therefore, it is recommended to design the suitable closed loop position control system with smooth acceleration and deceleration characteristics. Torque and speed control loops are deciding the performance of the drive system and its loading capacity. Proposed method uses the rd77MS4 4axis servo controller for achieving the S-curve based acceleration and deceleration time Vs speed curve. rd04 modular controller is used for sending the command to the rd77MS4 servo controller. This closed loop control technique can be used in any position control application for the zero-error steady state error operation. © 2023 IEEE.

The elucidation and extrication of hair artifacts from dermoscopic images of potential skin malignancies emerged as a paramount technique in facilitating early skin cancer detection. Nevertheless, the prevailing literature lacks comprehensive exploration and study in this arena. The dearth of a benchmark dataset, coupled with the absence of an established device for early skin cancer detection, significantly hampers progress in this field. Hence, this article presents a novel synthetic dataset and introduces a cutting-edge deep learning model termed as the Iterative Diffusion Model (IDM). The HAM10000 dataset, encompassing seven distinct types of skin cancer devoid of any hair, is leveraged in our research. We amalgamate these skin cancer images with respective skin hair images to foster a more holistic understanding. The IDM we propose is predicated upon a series of iterative hair removal procedures, wherein noise is methodically incorporated in each successive iteration. The proficiency and efficacy of the IDM are empirically evaluated using a suite of quantitative metrics including Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR), and Structural Similarity Index Measure (SSIM). In addition, histogram analysis is also adopted for assessment. © 2023 IEEE.

Aiming at the problem of motor control performance degradation caused by the cross-coupling and low switching frequency condition in the high-power direct-drive permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) control system, a robust current control of PMSM based on internal model control (IMC) and hybrid pulse width modulation (PWM) is proposed and applied to the control of a MW-level direct-drive PMSM in electric locomotive traction system. Firstly, combined with the characteristics of the low switching frequency of the electric locomotive inverter, a hybrid PWM strategy is adopted. Secondly, the IMC of PMSM is designed, and the IMC is adopted to solve the problems of more control parameters and cross-coupling of direct-drive PMSM in the d-q axis under low switching frequency, which improves the robustness of the whole locomotive system. Finally, the experiments have been carried out on a 1.2 MW direct-drive PMSM for traction system in electric locomotive, the correctness and effectiveness of IMC and hybrid PWM strategy are verified.(c) 2023 The Authors.
