At present, the signal detection principle of the ultrasonic flowmeter can be roughly divided into propagation velocity difference method, the beam shift method, the Doppler method, correlation method, spatial filtering method and noise method, and hence, the proper selection of the methods will be essential for the success of the modelling. This paper then studies the optimal feedback loop algorithm for the automatic control of ultrasonic gas flowmeter. Firstly, the ultrasonic gas flow measurement principle is introduced, considering that the time difference measurement principle will use the movement time difference of ultrasonic waves in the case of forward flow and reverse flow to measure gas flow. Secondly, realization of the intelligent ultrasonic gas flow measuring system is studied. Here, the Butterworth filters are considered to maintain the useful ultrasonic signal in a proper frequency range by removing high and low frequency noise. Finally, the optimal feedback loop is considered to finalize the model. The proposed experiment will provide the high-speed comparison of signal waveform simulation to show the visualized performance and then, the error comparison analysis in conducted to test the performance under different flow rate. © 2023 IEEE.

Nickel (Ni) alloy coating with high phosphorus (P), P > 10wt.%, is usually deposited by electroless and electrolytic plating processes and has been widely used for corrosion and wear resistance applications. However, the deposition rate is low and plating tanks with temperature control are required, and not viable for on-site coating and coating repair. The tank-free brush plating is usually controlled by constant voltage and featured with high deposition rate due to high current density (>100 A/dm(2)), while the current density of conventional tank plating is usually lower than 10 A/dm(2). However, the high current density of brush plating leads to a challenge to deposit a high phosphorus (Hi-P) Ni alloy, as the P content in the nickel phosphorus (NiP) alloy coating is inversely proportional to the operating current density based on the tank plating practices. In this paper, we report a brush plating process to deposit high phosphorous nickel thin film on carbon steel coupons. Design of experiments (DOE) was used to optimize the brush plating process, including plating bath formation, and plating parameters. It is found that low pH value and high phosphorous acid (H3PO3) concentration in the plating bath are beneficial for high P content in the NiP deposit. High pH value and low 1-hydroxyethylidene-1,1-diphosphonic acid (HEDP) concentration are beneficial for high current efficiency. By using the optimized bath chemistry and plating parameters, NiP coating with P content of 13.7 wt% was deposited on carbon steel coupons with a current efficiency as high as 19.4%.

The efficient circulation of service flow, information flow, and energy flow plays a crucial part in the stable operation and business development of low-voltage distribution substation areas. With the widespread access to new energy equipment, low-voltage distribution substation area faces the problem of collaboration between service flow, information flow, and energy flow. It is necessary to build a multi-flow model to achieve multi-flow fusion and collaboration. To address the above problems, we first propose a CIM-empowered multi-flow fusion architecture for a low-voltage distribution substation area. Then, a CIM-empowered multi-flow model construction approach is proposed to achieve the fusion of service flow, information flow, and energy flow based on the network topology. Finally, the proposed model is verified by the experiment. © 2023 IEEE.

The virtual synchronous generator (VSG) can provide inertia to the system, and effectively support the system frequency. However, the VSG inertia setting is subject to the physical limitations of the DC side, which cannot be changed arbitrarily. Aimed at this deficiency, this paper proposes a VSG inertia adaptive control strategy based on hybrid energy storage system (HESS). Based on the traditional inertia adaptive control, this strategy second adjusts the virtual inertia according to the state of charge (SOC) of the supercapacitor (SC), which can not only prevent the SC from overcharge and overdischarge, but also improve the frequency characteristics of VSG in the transient process. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed strategy are verified by comparing the control effects of different VSG strategies through Matlab/Simulink simulation. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper is development of solar power automated nutrient composition control for fertigation system. The automatic mixing system that is controlled by Arduino Uno board. There are three 30 litre buckets for water and a stock of fertilizer A and B and one 10 litre tank for mixing. Three units of 12V DC water pumps will be used for fertilizer A, B and water and two more units will be used in this system to control water flow to the chosen crops. The solar power supply used consists of a 3 Watts mono-crystalline photovoltaic (PV) solar panel, 12/24V 10A solar charger controller and a 12 V rechargeable li- on battery. EC meter which is Analog EC Meter SKU: DFR0300 EC sensor module will be used as sensor to read the value of EC. Relay will be connected to water pump as its function is aim at controlling the opening and closing of the circuit contacts of an electronic circuit. The data of nutrient EC from Arduino Uno will transfer to NodeMCU ESP8266 and will be stored in Blynk application as implement of Internet of Things (IoT). The EC meter must react to the automated mixture nutrient with desired EC and the solution must flow to the chosen crops based on user desire which are chili plant or eggplant.

For the peer-To-peer energy transaction trend, we propose an efficient and privacy-preserving access control scheme for transaction data. It is a distributed energy transaction matching method based on blockchain and ABE, which utilizes the access control features of ABE so that, unless the transaction is disputed, the seller and buyer can autonomously perform peer-To-peer matching through the access structure without relying on the help of other third-party nodes or centralized institutions. Meanwhile, with the user as the link, key generation is performed by multiple parties, including the user, attribute center and CA, and the multi-party key generation algorithm is embedded into the whole ABE algorithm process, which as a whole performs the attribution of security challenges. Partial access structure pre-encryption is supported in the process of transaction request encryption, and the encryption operation is divided into two phases of pre-encryption and encryption to deal with, which improves the overhead problem of transaction request sharing. © 2023 IEEE.

Due to the different junction temperatures during operation of Si IGBT/SiC MOSFET inverter parallel modules, and the traditional switch frequency junction temperature control strategy neglects this junction temperature difference, it cannot be directly applied to this parallel structure. To address this issue, this paper proposes a switching frequency hysteresis junction temperature control strategy for Si IGBT/SiC MOSFET inverter parallel modules. Based on the difference in junction temperature between Si IGBT and SiC MOSFET, adjusting the switching frequency of both can effectively reduce the average junction temperature and reduce junction temperature fluctuations. The results indicate that the switch frequency hysteresis junction temperature control strategy proposed in this article not only better controls the junction temperature, but also reduces the junction temperature difference between Si IGBT and SiC MOSET, and has little impact on the output power quality. ©2023 IEEE.

The rapid growth of Electric Vehicles (EVs) has generated concerns about the efficiency and convenience of charging infrastructure. The study proposes a novel approach to address these challenges by providing a Smart Charging Station for Electric Vehicles (SCSEV) that uses Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) technology. The study starts with an introduction that highlights the growing demand for sustainable mobility and the need for novel charging methods. Traditional approaches that rely on plug-in systems are inconvenient, have scalability challenges, and environmental concern. The proposed SCSEV overcomes existing challenges by utilizing resonant inductive coupling and intelligent control algorithms for smooth, contactless charging. Through simulations and real-world testing, the study shows that the SCSEV greatly improves customer happiness by minimizing charging time, and increasing charging efficiency. The results show a significant improvement in total charging efficiency, proving that the proposed approach has the potential to revolutionize electric vehicle charging by making it more accessible, efficient, and environmentally sustainable. The advancement of charging technologies made possible by the study which opens the door to a more environmentally sustainable and clean future for transportation. © 2023 IEEE.

In order to truly evaluate the reliability of low-voltage distribution network, considering the influence of distributed energy uncertainty on the reliability evaluation of low-voltage distribution network, a reliability evaluation method of low-voltage distribution network considering distributed energy is proposed. Firstly, considering the load recovery capability of distributed energy after failure, and then combining with distributed energy, a collaborative assessment method based on sequential Monte Carlo for medium-low voltage distribution network reliability is proposed. Finally, taking IEEE RBTS BUS-2 system as an example, the system reliability levels in different scenarios are compared and analyzed, and the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified. © 2023 IEEE.
