In this paper we are stating conception of seismic data processing using based on various of instant amplitudes, phases and frequencies. Such way providing by information equivalence of signal and it s instant characteristic. Visual observability and locality of instant parameters allow to build the flexible and time-dependent nonlinear procedures which are operated on the basis of visual features of wave field. Simplicity in realization and management of processing differ this approach from wavelet and Fourier analyses of seismic data. In the context of this conception the set of processing procedures was formed. Linear transformation of instant frequency uses for increasing wave direction adaptation of multi-channel procedures and resolution of seismic data. Transformations of amplitude and frequency instant parameters uses in amplitude and frequency noise cancellation. Amplitude transformation with saving phase characteristic allow to create signal compression filter and to combine parametritic and wave information on a section. Instant vector which build on temporal and spatial instant frequency uses for correlation waves and adaptation algorithm to wave fields feature. Instant phase adaptive correction filter increases coherence seismogram but don t distort it dynamics.

The present study from the Vienna Basin (Austria) shows the result of different processing techniques in time including (i) pre-stack time migration, (ii) post-stack time migration and (iii) Common Reflection Surface (CRS) processing. Pre-stack time migration was the preferred approach to obtain a highresolution image of the relatively shallow Neogene section (i.e., 0 ∼2.5 km). Post-stack time migration using only the low-frequency components of the seismic signal yields improved images from the deeper Cretaceous and Triassic (pre-Neogene) section at ∼2.5 ∼5.0 km depth. Finally, the best image of the complex geological structures in the deep pre-Neogene target area is obtained with CRS processing. Target-oriented data re-processing should be considered as an effective tool to increase the information content of an existing data set. Focusing on the principal attributes of a dataset using robust techniques (e. g., low-frequency processing, post-stack migration approach, etc.) or targeted techniques (e.g., CRS processing) have the potential to reveal information that is not obvious in conventionally processed data.

A wireless sensor network (WSN) can be envisaged as a distributed system where the sensor nodes (clients) continuously update the sensed information to the sink (server). In many real-time environments exact replica of data is not required by the end application to deduce the result. data estimation/prediction techniques at the sink can be used to infer the desired output. The proposed design is an improvement of the model as proposed by Santini which uses the traditional LMS algorithm to predict the desired output at the sink. In this work we solve the synchronization of mode problem in the Santinipsilas model by effectively utilizing the the principles of adaptive filter theory. The focus of this paper is to make better use of communication resources in data replication platforms than approaches based on periodic refreshing.

To analyze the real-time status of the pumping unit by virtue of its motor electrical information, accurate data analysis was generally required, coupled with a higher sampling frequency. This leads to a higher demand of the hardware and software configuration, especially for on-line analysis. Continuous high-speed sampling brings a large number of data-processing tasks, which makes the computer¿s resources lacked. By selecting appropriate schemes of intermittent high-speed data acquisition with an eye to the actual signal characteristics, the awkward situation maybe changed. Considering the problem of data-processing during data acquisition, one fitting-first HHT signals splitting method is proposed. It can provide a more feasible idea to improve the analysis precision of the motor electrical information.

As a basic operation of signal processing, discrete Fourier transform (DFT) has a strict demand with executing speed. However, the current widely used fast Fourier transform (FFT) which can greatly accelerate DFT can't still adapt to the required speed when the data amount is tremendous. There is an awareness of that parallel schemes can be an efficient way to accelerate the FFT computing. In this paper, a parallel FFT course and its scheduling scheme in multi-machines environmentwere introduced. How to do further optimization on this scheme for the optimal accelerating rate was discussed, and some basic principles were pointed out.

The application of environment sensor systems in modern - often called ldquointelligentrdquo - cars is regarded as a promising instrument for increasing road traffic safety. Based on a context perception enabled by well-known technologies such as radar, laser or video, these cars are able to detect threats on the road, anticipate emerging dangerous driving situations and take proactive actions for collision avoidance. Besides the combination of sensors towards an automotive multi-sensor system, complex signal processing and sensor data fusion strategies are of remarkable importance for the availability and robustness of the overall system. In this paper, we consider data fusion approaches on near-raw sensor data (low-level) and on pre-processed measuring points (high-level). We model sensor phenomena, road traffic scenarios, data fusion paradigms and signal processing algorithms and investigate the impact of combining sensor data on different levels of abstraction on the performance of the multi-sensor system by means of discrete event simulation.

It developed a sort of tactile sensor array system that built in various shapes and provided a wide range of spatial resolution. The sensor system built a demonstration system in lab and developed algorithms to process the large amount of tactile data. The efficient fusion of data from different sensors would enable the robot to respond promptly in dealing with the "real world". The confidence distance measure was used as fusion measure of information fusion. The useful fused data found by confidence distance matrix and relation matrix. Finally, the optimal fused data was given by maximum principle and maximum likelihood method. Using algorithm based information fusion, the influence of single sensor cell uncertainty errors could be avoid, surface depth data measure and image reconstruction precision of object profile could be improved.

Distributed wireless sensor applications are useful for visualizing spatially and geographically related data such as location, neighborhood, weather, and measuring specific changes in the environment. Desires to augment these interfaces with additional specifications needed for distributed applications such as Power-Aware, Fault-tolerance and Processor agnostic deployment requirements have led to create a custom distributed Network Embedded Test-Bed that locally aggregate the measured signal from individual sensors and send it to a central coordinator for combined processing. We envision publishing and querying real-time (e.g. from sensors) over such distributed sensor farm applications which are deployed wirelessly and form a large sensor network. Existing solutions, although useful for writing the simple applications mentioned above, have several drawbacks in achieving this vision. First, publishing even a single stream of data as a useful service is a non-trivial task. Much useful data is not being stored yet because the need for managing a sensor farm has lots of complexities which make them unreliable in terms of polling time and communications costs. Second, existing applications are mutually incompatible and are processor centric and needs many ports which may introduce un-reliability. Third communication costs are not scalable to handle a sensor farm application and it does not provide an easy way to extend such a Network Embedded Test-Bed. The Network Embedded Test-Bed project aims to address these challenges, we like to model existing applications needs into a cross layer sensor network simulator called C-ERROR(Cross Layer Reusable Resource Optimized Routing) which allows different clustering algorithms to be integrated and measure its performance at each layer of the stack. To have a platform independent sensor OS and a scheduler which allows creating sensing tasks that have real-time constraints.

Small form factor (SFF) software defined radio (SDR) platform is used to implement an experimental cognitive radio for first responders. The system was demonstrated in the 2007 Software Defined Radio technical conference and product exhibition, and is selected for presentation in the demonstrations and experimentation track in the IEEE DySPAN 2008. Different processing tasks are divided between a TI c64x+ DSP and a Xilinx Virtex IV FPGA while an ARM9 core is used to host Greenhills operating system. To tackle the complexity of development, we used progressive simulation based design. Starting from pure simulation of the system, we substitute the models with real modules step by step to build a fully functional modem. To develop the network of the cognitive radio modems, we deploy the available real modems with simulated primary and secondary users in a central simulation. Three real nodes are presented in our demonstration which perform channel sensing and data transmission.

This paper proposes a new negative Jaccard distance-based kernel for Support Vector Machines (SVM). The Jaccard distance is based on shape comparison between data, which could have a particular importance for handwritten character recognition where each class has its own shape form. So, it seems more proficient than Euclidian distance that is used with conventional kernels. The performance of negative Jaccard kernel is evaluated comparatively to standard SVM kernels for handwritten digit recognition. Experiments are conducted on both One-Against-All (OAA) and One-Against-One (OAO) multi-class SVM implementations using samples taken from USPS database. The results obtained showed that Jaccard Negative Distance kernel outperforms other kernels in most cases.
