So far,none of fixed criterion has been used as selecting distortion model,and almost all are personal or experiential,None of fixed criterion has been used as determining with how much error we measure 2D image coordinates,the calibration model can correctly compensate for the distortion in a fixed imagery system in current calibration *** paper presents using notable check and correlation coefficient check in statistics to select distortion model, using signal-to-noise ratio,which is a proportion about distortions in data noise,as criterion to measure compensation capability.A large number of simulant and practical experiments show(1) Various distortion models are existed in various imagery system;(2) There exist high correlation among distortion parameters or between distortion parameters and camera parameters;In addition,(3) the larger the signal-to-noise ratio is,the larger the compensation capability *** the contrary,the smaller signal-to- noise ratio is,the smaller the compensation capability is;(4) the relation between precision improving and signal-to-noise ratio is exponential function.

In this paper we used two-dimensional Pseudo Hidden Markov Models(2D PHMM) for handwriting digits *** used 2D Pseudo viterbi algorithm training the *** algorithm compared to traditional Forward-Backward algorithm has some advantage as follow.1) It can get rig of down overflow that maybe happened in Forward- Backward algorithm. 2) As the algorithm used Log calculation. the accurate of the calculation is much higher than Forward-Backward algorithm.3) The speed of calculation is much faster than Forward-Backward algorithm. The data base of handwriting digits used in this paper was collected at Beijing Postal *** digits was scanned from letters zip *** 4000 hand writing digits.2000 are used for training set.2000 are used for testing *** used pixel value as recognition *** result of the test *** recognition rate of training set is 95%. The recognition rate of testing set is 92.G%.We horizontal direction and vertical direction as super plane to build two types model at same *** at the recognition phase if *** of the two models are different as rejection *** recognition rate,of training set is 98%.the recognition rate of testing set is 96%.If we used some feature which is rotate and move invariant the recognition rate may get higher.
