The development of digital multimedia has become a promising solution for maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive data by using them as carriers of secret bits. Hiding confidential data in digital media such as images, known as steganography, has gained significant attention due to their high availability on the public network. However, the researchers present a challenge of a significant drawback in embedding large payloads by keeping the quality of the stego image. To address that problem, several research works have been conducted, but there is a need to improve their work in addressing the same issue. This paper proposes a new steganographic scheme that uses differences between the neighboring pixels to conceal the secret bits in an optimized manner to the pixels of a carrier image. The experimental results obtained with the proposed method achieve a maximum peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) of 87.845 decibels (dB). Moreover, the results identify a promising outperformance of our method over the existing PSNR for the same payload capacity. © 2023 IEEE.

As the demand for big data computing grows, the processing speed of clusters needs to be rapidly improved. However, the processing performance of the current big data processing framework has gradually been unable to meet this rapidly growing demand. Since the storage architecture of the cluster is distributed storage, the storage of data in the big data processing process becomes one of the factors that affect the processing performance of the cluster. When non-native speakers speak in English, they will show different accents or the characteristics of non-English native accents. Based on this feature, the speaker’s accent and its native language can be identified. This paper uses smart big data to design current French online teaching activities It is necessary to carry out motivation design in the network teaching activity design, and put forward the development direction of the framework of how to carry out the motivation design in the network teaching activity design. © ICST Institute for Computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering 2024.

The rapid proliferation of fake news has emerged as a significant challenge to the credibility of online information, largely due to the swift dissemination of content on social media platforms. This article provides a concise summary of the findings of the shared task on"Fake News Detection in Dravidian Languages1 - DravidianLangTech@RANLP 2023". The aim of this shared task is to categorize social media posts as either fake or original, specifically focusing on content in Malayalam. The shared task garnered participation from 8 teams who presented their systems. These systems encompassed a spectrum of methodologies including machine learning techniques and transformer-based models like MuRIL, XLMRoBERTa, and Indic BERT. In order to reduce or avoid the adverse effects of electromagnetic interference on power system and civil aviation communication navigation monitoring equipment, and improve the safety and stability of operation, an electromagnetic interference suppression technology for power system and civil aviation communication navigation monitoring equipment is proposed. According to the magnitude of the maximum-average index of amplitude and the amplitude index characteristics of electromagnetic interference signal frequency in time domain, the characteristics of electromagnetic interference signal are extracted, the extracted signals are summarized into the intermediate frequency, the electromagnetic interference information is identified, and the channel coding is combined to correct, so that the data can be recovered to the maximum extent and the electromagnetic interference suppression result can be obtained. The experimental results show that the variation range of the suppression amount is small, which can significantly reduce the fluctuation of signal amplitude and improve the stability and reliability of the signal. © 2024 SPIE.

The image processing technology is widely used in digital signal processing, biomedical engineering, and industrial automation control. In image processing, image enhancement and restoration techniques are used in many imaging applications, such as astrophotography, medical imaging camera, film production, and infrared imaging. At the same time, image enhancement and restoration technology based on both deep learning and neural network is a major research hotspot in the area of image processing. This paper reviews the related research of image enhancement and restoration technology. In terms of image enhancement, the working principle of its technology based on spatial domain and frequency domain and contrast enhancement technology, including color image contrast enhancement, are introduced. In image restoration, median filtering technology and the Lucy-Richardson (LR) algorithm are introduced, including the adaptive median filtering algorithm and the improved LR algorithm based on the Gaussian low-pass filter. Finally, the merits and demerits of these technologies are discussed, and the development prospect of image enhancement and restoration technology has prospected. © COPYRIGHT SPIE. At present, the real-time early warning nodes of equipment scrap failure risk are mostly independent structures, and the scope of early warning is limited, which leads to the increase of early warning variance. Therefore, the design and verification of real-time early warning method for scrap failure risk of large-scale equipment in power grid are proposed. According to the current test requirements and standards, the basic early warning targets of power grid equipment scrapping failure are extracted first, and the multi-objective method is adopted to break the limitation of early warning range, and multi-objective risk real-time early warning nodes are deployed. On this basis, a real-time early warning model of power grid equipment scrapping failure risk based on big data mining is constructed, and real-time early warning processing is realized by tracking and positioning. The test results show that: for the selected five test cycles, the test and early warning of power equipment are carried out in three stages, and the final early warning variance is well controlled below 1.5, which shows that the real-time early warning effect of scrap failure risk of the current design is better, more targeted and has practical application value. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper proposes a framework to address the challenge of extracting critical information from the substantial growth of online news in the Internet age by automatically constructing event logic graph from unstructured news reports. The proposed framework consists of three layers. The data support layer employs crawler technology to gather news from different media platforms and store them in a MySQL database. The data mining layer employs natural language processing technology to analyze the news data and identify events and event relationships, which is utilized to create an event-centered news event logic graph by extracting information. In the visual interaction layer, the Neo4j graph database is utilized to showcase the examples for the news event logic graph. The event logic graph created through online news can enhance users' efficiency in obtaining news event information and aid them in making more comprehensive and scientifically-informed analytical decisions. © 2023 IEEE.

Underground cables are important equipment for power transmission, and their health is closely related to the safe operation of the power system. Aiming at the aging problem of cross linked polyethylene (XLPE) cables, a life prediction model based on BP neural network is proposed. Firstly, the original cables aging data is pre-processed to extract highly correlated feature data and set corresponding RUL data labels. Secondly, based on the BP neural network, the prediction model is established and its accuracy is improved through repeated training. Finally, the model is tested on the public dataset provided by the North American Utility Analytics Network (20kV XLPE Underground Cable Inspection dataset). Meanwhile, the prediction accuracy of different neural networks is validated. Experiment shows that the model proposed in this paper has higher accuracy, with an accuracy rate of 97%. © 2023 IEEE.

With the development of "Internet+Education", universities are facing the leap from digital campus to smart campus. However, data silos, incomplete data, data leakage and dirty data are common problems in universities, which hinder the construction of smart campus. In order to break through barriers and achieve secure data useage, this paper proposes a data governance framework and a multi-layer protection mechanism. The data governance framework divides all elements involved in the data life cycle into four subjects, and ensures the effectiveness and feasibility of data governance through their mutual cooperation. The multi-layer protection mechanism is designed to ensure the data security as much as possible by segregating the data in layers based on operation attributes. After practice, the level of campus data governance under the guidance of this paper has been greatly improved. © 2023 SPIE.

Continuous development of modern technologies and equipment models inevitably needs to improve the process of training highly qualified specialists who carry out their direct operation. As one of the most promising areas of improvement, the introduction of intelligent systems to support the continuous process of professional development of specialists (virtual assistants) with the ability to predict events in time, build an interactive spatio-temporal model of events is justified. It is shown that such systems should be based on the development and integrated use of modern methods of machine learning and analysis of a large amount of data to determine the most effective strategies for the professional development of a specialist, depending on the current personal competence, psycho-physiological portrait, as well as assessments of the expected conditions for the performance of functional tasks. © 2023 IEEE.
