The high demand of a miniature antenna for wirelessapplications, motivates the researchers to design special types of microstrip antenna such as fractal Sierpinski. Fractal Sierpinski antenna based on square patch structure is proposed, designed and simulated to operate at resonance frequency at 1.575 GHz for GPS applications. Antenna Simulation is done using CST Studio suite version-2014. The proposed antenna is simulated on Sierpinski carpet shaped substrate Arlon 250 AD lossy of dielectric constant equals to 2.5 and thickness of 1.6 mm. The thickness of patch is 0.6 mm. The results are reported in terms of reflection coefficient, VSWR, directivity and gain. According to the results, the fractal of 3rditeration exhibits good properties that it possesses gain of 7.79 dB and VSWR is 1.6. Significant reduction of antenna area can be realized when fractal Sierpinski carpet patch antenna is used instead of conventional antenna. Reduction area of 3rd iteration is about 36% less than 0th iteration. The results highlight that antenna becomes more efficient by applying fractal geometry.

Suehiro, et al. have proposed a new information transmission method using the Kronecker product between the rows of DFT matrix and the data sequences. It has been shown that the method has far better error probability property than OFDM method under the heavy multipath environment by a simulation under the stable multi-path environment. Because the 16 QAM system of the new method has almost the same error performance with the QPSK system of the OFDM method, the new method can be regarded as two-times more efficient method than the OFDM method from the view point of wireless frequenct usage efficiency. In this paper, the authors show the new method is fittable to multiple-antenna systems and the K antenna/K antenna system has almost 2K times larger wireless frequency usage efficiency than the single antenna OFDM system.

We address an important problem of automation in simulation modeling of logistics warehouses. An effective solution for such a large-scale problem is difficult to obtain without high-performance computing. To this end, we propose a new approach for adjusting management system parameters of the warehouse in its production use. It is based on the integration of conceptual, wireframe, and service-oriented programming used to develop parameter sweep applications and data analysis in simulation modeling in heterogeneous distributed computing environments. We design a toolkit to support modeling of warehouse logistics. Using this toolkit, we develop a parameter sweep application and solve three optimization tasks for adjusting parameters of a warehouse management system. The practical experiments are focused on the refrigerated warehouse. The developed applications demonstrate high efficiency and scalability capabilities to optimize nine criteria to cope with different production demands. (C) 2017 The Authors. Different cascode circuits are investigated with regard to their suitability for low-voltage and low-current circuits. A generalized circuit representation is introduced and different cascode circuits are discussed with respect to their small-signal parameters as well as their associated dynamic output ranges. The output voltage ranges for saturation operation of the different cascode circuits are derived and the saturation operating areas are compared. A method called reference voltage and current tracking for dynamic output range improvement of cascode circuits with reference voltage or current is described. An improved regulated cascode circuit with extended dynamic output range using input tracking and level shifting technique is proposed.

This paper discusses intelligent seeding monitoring, fertilizer box and seed box margin monitoring, and bellows pressure monitoring.
