With the large-scale virtualization of essential and non-essential services in today's world, it has become imperative to develop an efficient and all-round online shopping system which stimulates the shopping experience while avoiding physical contact. Especially given the recent pandemic situation, such an online shopping system which incorporates the experience of physical shopping would turn out to become extremely useful. Owing to the landscape of the relevant work, software engineering organizations or teams are more prone to implement and benefit from remote working or hybrid working venues. The freshest pandemic brought about farther obligations and chances for organizations to practically experience and test the mode of working remotely. Correspondingly, for a noteworthy number of organizations, the new standard of working embraces remote working applications. Taking into account this actuality, the research has been conducted to comprehend the perspectives of software engineering project managers having experiences of managing remotely. Unambiguously, semi-structured interviews with 27 project managers from different industries were principally conducted to explore and extract the relevant involvements and interpretations. Outcomes revealed that the new standard of working for software development organizations ought to be the hybrid approach. Furthermore, via analyzing the collected pertinent data, foremost affirmations of software engineering project managers have been apprehended and commented on. The conclusions of this work are to be advantageous for relevant project managers, policymakers in software development organizations, and other scholars researching the evolving dynamics of workforce management applications in software engineering organizations. © 2022 IEEE.

Linear Discriminant Analysis is a less commonly applied dimensionality reduction technique in cancer data classification. This could be due to the inability of LDA to achieve good classification results when applied on small training data-a common characteristics of cancer data. F-LDA is an extension of LDA and was recently proposed in another application to overcome the challenge posed by the lack of enough samples for training. This paper therefore evaluates the effectiveness of F-LDA as a dimensionality reduction technique in cancer data classification. Experimental results obtained are promising and demonstrate the ability of F-LDA to effectively reduce the dimensionality of cancer data in small training sample scenarios. © 2022 IEEE.

Each stage in the software development lifecycle has its own requirements, validation criteria, and output. Requirement analysis, which is one of the initial stages of the life cycle, can be considered as the most important stage of a project. Incorrectly defined, analyzed, and incorporated, requirements can lead to errors or even project failure in the later stages of the project. Considering the existence of software products in almost every field today, we can say that different requirements have arisen in a wide variety of fields. The use of appropriate technologies can yield much more efficient results than manual analysis of these relatively large numbers of different requirements. One of them is ontology-based approaches. In this research, the use of ontologies in software requirement analysis has been investigated. Systematic mapping was chosen as the research method. At the end of the study, it was found that technologies that adopt an ontology-based approach increase efficiency and accuracy in software requirements analysis. © 2022 IEEE.

The devastating Covid 19 pandemic has shifted priorities in the business world to accommodate the new normal that the pandemic has caused. Digital marketing has become a necessity for corporations to keep up with the evolving needs of consumers. With the help of the emerging technologies, corporations have begun embracing tailored digital marketing applications that aim to attract and retain more consumers. The techniques or applications used by businesses to improve their marketing performance are consolidated and supported by artificial intelligence applications. In this study, we examine the significance of the marketing field and machine learning, as well as marketing techniques, artificial intelligence, and machine learning algorithms. As a result of the examinations, it has been shown how machine learning techniques and algorithms facilitate marketing processes, increase the profitability of businesses and it is very difficult to realize digital marketing without machine learning algorithms. © 2022 IEEE.

software product family engineering is mainly used to analyze and manage product family feature models by using variability modeling. The formal specification approach is beneficial to ensure the quality of feature models. However, existing formal methods use an informal approach in the domain analysis phase and separate the variability modeling from the feature specification, which leads to consistency problems in the final product family feature models obtained. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a method to check the consistency of its results with the variability model and guide the user to solve the inconsistencies during the process of formalizing the feature, with the guidance of rule or based on it. We will give the format of the specification and the algorithm for consistency checking, and the consistency checking rule library will focus on checking the consistency of variables and functional scenarios. We give a case study to show that our approach is effective. © 2022 IEEE.

Advances in information technology and hardware technology have led to the development of the capabilities of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). Quadrotors are used in areas such as fire fighting, search and rescue, first aid kit delivery, surveillance, mapping, mineral exploration, agricultural spraying, cargo transportation, and defense industry. In order for quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicles to perform these sensitive tasks, it is important to have a robust controller design. Robust control of unmanned aerial vehicles is an important issue that many researchers have been working on in recent years. In this work, nonlinear modeling of a quadrotor is performed. A Lyapunov stability-based robust controller has been realized to control altitude and attitude. Simulations were made under normal situations, uncertain parameters and Gaussian white noise. Rise time, overshoot and settling time values were examined under 3 different conditions and the results were compared. The simulations have proven the robustness of the designed controller under specified conditions. © 2022 IEEE.

Airline ticket prices fluctuate, even for the same flight. Airlines are focusing on implementing various algorithms to adjust prices to maximize revenue from system-generated fares, allowing them to fill the maximum number of seats available. Because of the fierce competition among airline services, these models are unavailable to the general public. Recent advances in Machine Learning (ML) make it possible to model price fluctuation. This study presents a new application based on two Kaggle datasets. To forecast the price of airline tickets, it employs well-known machine learning algorithms like Random Forest and Randomized Search CV. This predictive model will assist passengers in purchasing decisions by predicting how air ticket prices will fluctuate. © 2022 IEEE.

Medical technology plays a major role in supporting the elderly and disabled people. This study aims to make it easier for those people to climb stairs. A design for a stair lift chair was presented, considering both lifting and tilting mechanisms. Technical details of both mechanisms have been discussed, considering mechanical and electrical parts in terms of hardware and software. The chair is distinguished by its ability to adapt to various building structures without the use of a hydraulic system. In addition, the chair is a low-cost option compared to existing solutions The chair was tested with users of weights ranging from 70 kg to 100 kg. All calculations were performed considering the weight of 100 kg. As a result, the stair chair is a convenient assistive tool that facilitates the daily lives of disabled people. © 2022 IEEE.
