With the rapid development of computer technology. Many scholars pay close attention to computer graphics algorithms, which makes computer graphics widely used in various fields and enters a new revolutionary era. The purpose of this paper is to study the evaluation of computer graphics algorithm demonstration systems. Combining theory with practice, on the basis of careful analysis of the principle of graphics algorithm, a new idea of synchronization of graphics production process and a specific algorithm for realizing graphics are proposed, and most graphics in computer graphics are visualized. It breaks the limitation that only two-dimensional graphic simulation effects can be realized, and increases the interactive user control system. The algorithm complexity is significantly reduced, the graphics creation speed is increased, and the simulation effect is more realistic. After the introduction of this visual teaching demonstration system, these abstract principles can be explained intuitively, which can significantly improve the teaching quality. © 2023 Elsevier B.V.. computer graphics is a difficult topic, requiring associating mathematics and programming skills. When initially taught at undergraduate levels, there are several factors which discourage students. First, programming a first computer graphics program requires a substantial initial framework which can be intimidating for many of them. Second, understanding and applying mathematical concepts is very often overwhelming. To counter this intimidating feeling, a new teaching approach was proposed in 2018 to 3rd year undergraduate computer science students. The course was split into two parts, theory and practice. The theoretical concepts were seen in class, with course handouts and table exercises resembling closely to traditional computer graphics learning. The originality of the course comes from a new way of practicing 3D programming. Practical labs were built upon the Unity game engine programming platform, adapted to match the theoretical concepts seen in classroom. Conclusions are drawn over 4 years of teaching this course. When taught using an accompanying easy-to-access graphics programming platform, computer graphics becomes a more attractive course for students with lower mathematics and programming skills. It is also very satisfactory for skillful students as it enables them to grab and master concepts quickly to reach interesting final lab achievements. © 2022 The Author(s).

The paper considers the use of a neural network for the binary classification of magnetic resonance imaging images to establish a possible disease of COVID-19. Processing of input data and their reduction to one format is provided, and neural network software for binary classification is developed and its training based on about 60,000 open patient images. The using of developed software is universal for medical doctors or ordinary Internet users and does not require additional training. © 2022 IEEE.

Preservation of architectural knowledge faces substantial challenges, most notably due the high level of data heterogeneity. On the one hand, low-level architectural models include 3D models and point cloud data up to richer building information models (BIM), often residing in isolated data stores with insufficient support for ensuring consistency and managing change. On the other hand, the Web contains vast amounts of information of potential relevance for stakeholders in the architectural field, such as urban planners, architects or building operators. This includes in particular Linked Data, offering structured data about, for instance, energy-efficiency policies, geodata or traffic and environmental information but also valuable knowledge which can be extracted from social media, for instance, about peoples' movements in and around buildings or their perception of certain structures. In this paper we provide an overview of our early work towards building a sustainable, semantic longterm archive in the architectural domain. In particular we highlight ongoing activities on semantic enrichment of low-level architectural models towards the curation of a semantic archive of architectural knowledge. © 2013 for the individual papers by the papers' authors.

In the clinical practice of diagnosis and treatment of liver disease, how to effectively represent and analyze the vascular structure has been a widely studied topic for a long time. In this paper, we propose a method for the three- dimensional skeletal graph generation of liver vessels using 3D thinning algorithm and graph theory. First of all, the principal methods for skeletonization are introduced, followed by their comparative analysis. Secondly, the 3D thinning-based skeletonization method together with a filling hole pre-processing on liver vessel image are employed to form the liver skeleton. A graph-based technique is then employed on the skeleton image to efficiently form the liver vascular graph. The thinning-based liver vessel skeletonization method was evaluated on liver vessel images with other two kinds of skeletonization approaches to show its effectiveness and efficiency.

ID management method is the foundation to implement and maintain DHT overlays, especially for Constant Degree DHTs based on de Bruijn and Kautz, because their topologies are not incrementally expandable and using bit-shifting route schema etc. However, corresponding researches on Constant Degree DHTs are scarce, and realized Constant Degree DHTs usually use pure centralized or distributed ID management methods simply, thus cannot guarantee overlay's balance with low cost both in theory and practice. Analyzing the universal tree structures of Constant Degree diagraph, we propose an ID management method based on the internal structure Routing Forest, which regularly aggregates local balancing information to guide new nodes' joining for overall balance. The experimental results validate, with low maintenance and routing message overhead, node IDs' length differ by at most 2 in system, thus the load balancing is efficiently ensured.

Traceability is the term used for mechanisms to record and subsequently navigate - ideally in a seamless fashion - relationships between any artifacts produced by systems development processes. Simple in theory! However, in practice the range of disjoint CASE tools engineers use to express and store these artifacts - and the lack of interoperability between them - mean seamless traceability is literally something of an ideal, tempered by numerous compromises. This paper presents a framework known as MAST (Metamodelling Approach to System Traceability) that provides a possible solution to this problem. Building on and updating theoretical work previously proposed by this author [1], we demonstrate practical realisation of the framework.

Combinatorial generation of matroid representations: theory and practice

Matroids (also called combinatorial geometries) present a strong combinatorial generalization of graphs and matrices. Unlike isomorph-free generation of graphs, which has been extensively studied both from theoretical and practical points of view, not much research has been done so far about matroid generation. Perhaps the main problem with matroid generation lies in a very complex internal structure of a matroid. That is why we focus on generation of suitable matroid representations, and we outline a way how to exhaustively generate matroid representations over finite fields in reasonable computing time. In particular, we extend here some enumeration results on binary (over the binary field) combinatorial geometries by Kingan et al. We use the matroid generation algorithm of [P. Hliněny, Equivalence-Free Exhaustive Generation of Matroid Representations] and its implementation in MACEK;see http://***/hlineny/MACEK.

3D computer animated characters often lack the communicative power and the expressiveness of traditional animation, especially when used in non-photorealistic graphical representations. Inspired by a talk by Pixar Animation Studios at Animex 2005 [WR05] and based upon the animation and cartooning concepts of lines of action and motion, we present an expressive animation tool that emphasizes and accentuates the intentions of the animator derived from the skeleton-driven animation. Motion and pose-based shape deformations are automatically generated to quickly add an emotive layer to an animated character. This warping of the character geometry also provides a novel solution to the problem of implied motion in non-photorealistic still images. © The Eurographics Association 2006.
