Over the last years, there has been an increasing tendency and pressure on the faster implementation robotic devices and systems in manufacturing. Such transition involves several disciplines starting withthe prototyping of CAD models itself the paper addresses the creation of CAD models and is mainly aimed at their integration in a given simulation environment according to the conception and guidelines of Industry 4.0, where the part itself becomes the entity carrying most of the needed information at any time of a production process. the creation of such CAD models is key for the further and better customization of simulations. In other to better exemplify all this, the paper describes the whole process of "virtual to real life implementation" of a given robotized workplace needed to be developed at the Institute. the design of such robotized workplace included the use of an ABB IRB 120 robot and several other devices which were all designed, simulated and analyzed in a virtual environment before the final development and implementation. this paper helped demonstrating the importance of having exactly the same model (real and virtual) with respect to the success of the offline simulations.

the rural housing industrialization in China relies on long-term accumulation and is a process of gradual integration withthe handicraft Industry. However, the eager to develop deglamorized housing products is hard to adapt to the building capacity of villagers and not favourable for the sustainability of the rural construction industry. Clearly, housing design should not only satisfy the physical functions of housing, but also provide convenient, comfortable and pleasant hardware conditions for the interaction between housing products and rural labors, alleviating the living and consumption burden of villagers and improving the residential satisfaction of villagers. Based on the housing industrialization demands under the strategy of rural revitalization, our work studied the principle of applying rural labor force into housing design and the design requirements for housing products by stressing the importance of technology-labor integration. And then together withthe design practice of building components, facilities and ornaments, we probed into the methods of rural housing design. It will be theoretically and practically meaningful for rural housing modernization.

In this paper, we develop a low-cost manufacturing technology for RF system-in-package applications. this high-performance process technology for integrated passive devices is achieved by electroplated formed thick Cu metal trace and back-side substrate thinning process on 8-inch glass wafer. this paper first presents investigations for common integration of inductors, resistors, capacitors in this thin film process technology and examines their RF performance. then, a lowpass filter design for 2.4 GHz ISM band application is also demonstrated. Good RF performance as well as small form factor are achieved.

Water is regarded as cheap, non-hazardous and readily available. the awareness of environmental impacts and the 'true' cost of water have made water-systems optimization (WSO) an important topic. the optimization of water use at large, integrated chemical complexes has many challenges related to the scale of the operations, the integration of the individual processes, the variety of water uses, the variety of water qualities required and planned production expansions. these challenges have often made design and selection of water-reuse projects difficult and time consuming. this paper discusses cultural changes and water-asset realignment resulting from a WSO pilot study at a major European chemical-manufacturing site. this paper is intended to give a brief overview on design optimization of micro cantilever based MEMS binary inverter. this brief includes the design and optimization scheme for reduction of key parameters of inverter. Sensor integration with active electronics is one of the key issues in Sensor system on Chip (SSoC) and this work essentially reduces the need of CMOS-MEMS integration. the integration requires two separate process flows and authors believe that lot of resources can be saved if circuit topologies can also be created via MEMS. the inverter has been designed and optimized in detail with respect to [1]. the analytical and simulated design is converging to similar values and hence the current design which this paper proposes can be significant improvement over other reported design. the operational characteristics of this inverter are best suited for bio-medical, speech and low-frequency operations.

this paper describes the integration of Inherent Safety Index (ISI) assessment into process simulation. A framework for integrating the ISI withprocess simulation performed on iCON (R) process simulator was developed. the Microsoft Excel (R) was utilized as an interface. For illustration purposes, the above described technique was implemented in the process simulation of an acetaldehyde production plant. the ISI was utilized to assess the reaction unit by applying the intensification and moderation approach. the results from this investigation show that the integration of ISI withthe process simulation provides a tool to assess safety improvement via the implementation of inherent safety principles.
