this paper researches the key re-encryption technology of the key management server, and solves the storage security problem faced by massive key management under content association key encryption mechanism. the key management server must ensure the security of the managed key. Re-encrypting the key, for example, is a good strategy. the key data in the key management server is mostly presented in a flattened form, and there is no obvious feature structure in the data. therefore, the key data is re-encoded by the run-length encoding algorithm, then the re-encoded key data is analyzed to determine the sensitive data extraction algorithm, and the compression coding and the sensitive data extraction are combined to realize the key re-encryption. the test results show that the method can realize the re-encryption of the key. © 2018 IEEE.

the rapid development of Internet of things (IoT) in recent years leads to its use in different fields in daily life. Most dynamic image transmission related to the Internet of things uses traditional transmission technologies such as WiFi or wired networks. the disadvantages of traditional transmission technology include high power consumption, high cost, or insufficient transmission distance. In order to improve the shortcomings of traditional transmission technology, we study the use of LoRa wireless transmission technology. LoRa is a low-power wide-area network (LPWAN), so the transmission distance becomes be farther than most traditional transmission technologies. In addition, the power consumption becomes lower. Even though it was originally designed to transmit low-data-volume sensor signals, we tried to make modifications to transmit high-data-volume dynamic image files. Experimental test results show that the method of WebP compression with Base 64 coding obtains the smallest image size and total packets for transmission. Under the condition of the line of sight, both RSSI and PSR are good. All the PSNRs and SSIMs are 33.84 dB and 0.904, which are acceptable for image quality. the fastest transmission time (=25.7 s) occurred in the method of WebP compression with Base 64 coding, which achieves better performance than I and P frames of H.264. therefore, LoRa dynamic image transmission is feasible. © 2021 IEEE.

this paper considers the use of data hiding strategies for improved color image compression. Specifically, color information is "piggybacked" on the luminance component of the image in order to reduce the overall signal storage requirements. A practical wavelet-based data hiding scheme is proposed in which selected perceptually irrelevant luminance bands are replaced with perceptually salient chrominance components. Simulation results demonstrate the improvement in compression quality of the proposed scheme to SPIHT and JPEG at low bit rates. the novel technique also has the advantage that it can be used to further reduce the storage requirements of algorithms such as SPIHT which is optimized for grayscale image compression.

In [1], Effros and Chou introduce a two-stage universal transform code called the weighted universal transform code (WUTC). By replacing JPEG's single, non-optimal transform code with a collection of optimal transform codes, the WUTC achieves significant performance gains over JPEG. the computational and storage costs of that performance gain are effectively the computation and storage required to operate and store a collection of transform codes rather than a single transform code. We here consider two complexity- and storage-constrained variations of the WUTC. the complexity and storage of the algorithm are controlled by constraining the order of the bases. In the first algorithm, called a fast WUTC (FWUTC), complexity is controlled by controlling the maximum order of each transform. On a sequence of combined text and gray-scale images, the FWUTC achieves performance comparable to the WUTC at 1/32 the complexity for fates up to about 0.10 bits per pixel (bpp), 1/16 the complexity for rates up to about 0.15 bpp, 1/8 the complexity for rates up to about 0.20 bpp, and 1/4 the complexity for rates up to about 0.40 bpp. In the second algorithm, called a jointly optimized fast WUTC (JWUTC), the complexity is controlled by controlling the average order of the transforms. On the same data set and for the same complexity, the performance of the JWUTC always exceeds the performance of the FWUTC. On the data set considered, the performance of the JWUTC is, at each rate, virtually indistinguishable from that of the WUTC at 1/8 the complexity. the JWUTC and FWUTC algorithm are interesting both for their complexity and storage savings in data compression and for the insights that they lend into the choice of appropriate fixed- and variable-order bases for image representation.

LSB steganography and Vigenere chiper methods are integrated in used for data security validation in this study. this approach used Arithmetic coding method for data compression and data decompression. To maintain the authenticity of the data file, a hash function (SHA 256) technique was added. this paper presents a prototype called Ste-Chy as a proof of concept of the combination of these techniques. this approach helps the user in terms of the exchange of confidential data through an online share in Android-based media. For the confidential authentication purpose, the confidential message is hidden togetherwith the target image. the quality of the original image and stego images in this work produce an image picture in an acceptable level for the user. the bigger the secret of the message, the compression will produce higher compression ratio. With this approach, security process of exchange of confidential message shared through the online share smartphone is considerably secured especially in an android environment. © 2015 IEEE.

compression is the specialty of presenting the data in a conservative structure as opposed to its unique or uncompressed structure. Moreover, utilizing information compression, the size of a specific document can be decreased. this is extremely helpful when preparing, putting away, or moving a gigantic document, which needs huge resources. the speed of transmission relies on the number of pieces sent, the time needed for the encoder to create the coded message, and the time needed for the decoder to recoup the primary ensemble. In an information storage application, the level of compression is the essential concern. compression can be named either lossless or lossy. Lossless compression methods remake the primary data from the compacted record with no loss of information. In this manner, the data does not alter during the decompression and compression measures. these sorts of compression calculations are called reversible compressions since the primary message is recreated by the decompression cycle. this paper analyzes the exhibition of the Huffman Encoding Algorithm, Lempel Zev Welch Algorithm, Arithmetic Encoding Algorithm, Adaptive Huffman Encoding Algorithm, Shannon Fano Algorithm, and Run Length Encoding Algorithm. Specifically, the efficiency of these calculations in compacting text information is compressed and assessed. © 2021 IEEE.

A new wavelet-based method for the compression of electrocardiogram (ECG) data is presented. the discrete wavelet transform (DWT) is applied to the digitized ECG signal. the DWT coefficients are firstly quantized with a uniform scalar dead zone quantizer. then, the quantized coefficients are decomposed into two parts for efficient entropy coding: a nonzero coefficient stream and a binary significance symbol stream which indicates the locations of those nonzero coefficients. the Exp-Golomb coding is used to code the lengths of runs of the zero coefficients. the Golomb-Rice coding is used to code the nonzero coefficients. Experiments on several records from the MIT-BIH arrhythmia database show that the proposed coding algorithm outperforms other recently developed ECG signal compression algorithms.

the availability of affordable cameras with additional depth sensor boosted the advances in the field of Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM). this area of research addresses creating a 3D representation of unknown environment by fusing sensor information. Whereas a coarse representation suffices for navigational purposes, the resulting 3D models are not accurate enough to allow rendering a visually pleasing video stream based on the gathered information, when applying a model based video compression standard such as MPEG-4 Part 25. this publication focuses on increasing the accuracy of the created 3D models in order to improve the perceived quality when using model-based video coding and aims for performance comparable to hybrid video encoding.

Steganography is the embedding of secret message in the cover image for covert communication. In this paper, we present a High Capacity data Embedding using Colour Palette Decomposition (CPD) in which the payload is embedded into the cover image as an index of shifted centroids to derive the stego image. the error control coding is applied to stego image to increase PSNR, capacity and security. It is observed that our algorithm has higher PSNR and capacity in comparison to earlier works.

Most distributed source coding (DSC) compression methods for hyperspectral image in transform domain are based on discrete wavelet transform (DWT). However, we point out that DWT domain is not efficient for the on-board acquisition system, which requires simple encoder. We find hyperspectral image is also highly correlated in discrete cosine transform (DCT) domain, and the computational cost of DCT domain is much smaller than that of DWT domain. therefore, this paper proposes a low complexity DCT-based DSC scheme to compress hyperspectral image. We use a set-partitioning approach on reorganized DCT coefficients to extract bitplanes;then we apply low density parity check-based (LDPC-based) Slepian-Wolf coder to implement our DSC strategy. By this means, the coding paradigm shifts the complexity from the encoder side to the decoder side. Preliminary experimental results for AVIRIS (Airborne Visible/Infrared Imaging Spectrometer) data show that the proposed scheme can reach up to 0.4 dB better than DSC-based coder in DWT domain, despite of the using DCT-based coder inferior to DWT-based one. the performance also improves up to 5dB as compared to that independently using 2-Dimensional (2D) DCT-based coder.
