An active current detection technique (ACDT) for a three-phase grid integrated photovoltaic system is presented in this research. As a result of using the triangle character function for component extraction, the suggested control reduces the overall computing load. this demonstrates the efficacy of the proposed ACDT under a range of operating situations. control algorithm design also provides desired voltage regulation, decreasing peak overshoot during transient conditions. this will also aid in the rapid and precise regulation of grid current concerning the reference current. Further, the fractional-order controller is adopted for DC-link voltage stabilization during transient dynamics of the system. the suggested control algorithm successfully maintains a constant power flow to meet the load requirement. Finally, simulation experiments were conducted in the Matlab Simulink in order to validate the proposed controller ability. the simulation result shows proposed control performs well subject to system perturbation. © 2022 ieee.

An improved internal model control)IMC (method is suggested in this paper for control of under-actuated MIMO system. the main idea of the proposed control technique is to ensure perfect reference tracking of the under-actuated MIMO system, which is difficult to attain, by the conventional method. the condition of the perfect reference tracking is derived in this paper for the under-actuated MIMO system. the designed controller is successfully realized on the cart inverted pendulum system, which is an example of unstable under-actuated MIMO system. the performance of the designed control method is verified through the simulation results. © 2021 ieee.

Due to the prevalence of the COVID-19 epidemic around the globe, children were compelled to engage in remote learning through online platforms, hence mobile phone has become one of their predominant devices. Mobile device with Internet access offers a major outlet for education, entertainment, and social connection, but this combination can lead to several significant bad sequences such as online exploitation, harmful addictions, and other negative impacts of online social networking. To address harmful effects, parental controls are becoming more crucial, yet Sri Lankan parents are less aware of this. Consequently, this study proposes a parental control system to monitor their child's activities. Android, Microsoft Azure, Java, Python, OpenCV, MySQL, and FastAPI are among the most prominent technologies utilized in the proposed application's development. the suggested approach focuses primarily on the Sri Lankan context and aims to enhance parental digital literacy while safeguarding children from cyber threats. Yielded results showed the proposed mobile application for the identification of toxic words, drugs & alcohol content, game character images, and Instagram Sinhala comments severity as 94%, 95%, 97%, and 55% respectively in controlled experiments. © 2022 ieee.

When the globe was hit by the vicious Covid 19 pandemic, multiple industries faced the virus's wrath and that included the agricultural warehouse industry. Consequently, many warehouses which had received large shipment stocks of agricultural products were never to be used again as it had reached its expiration date. this led to major losses for the agricultural warehouses as well as losses in crops for farmers and large scale agriculturists. the main objective of this paper is to build a model which utilises 3 heavy-weight algorithms (Seasonal Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average-SARIMA, Long short term memory-LSTM and Holt Winters) and predicts the agricultural needs of retailers and consumers based on previous data from different warehouses. Deploying this system will not help in the regulation of goods in warehouses but will also aid in maximizing the profits and minimizing the losses for warehouses. the algorithm with the least MAE(Mean Absolute Error) value will be considered for forecasting the sales of the aforementioned product. © 2022 ieee.

this article presents a photovoltaic (PV)-battery energy storage (BES) system functioning in both grid-tied and standalone modes while performing multifunctional operations, including reactive power compensation, power balancing, and power quality enhancement. the PV-BES system ensures uninterrupted power supply to the critical loads even during seamless transitions from grid-tied mode to islanded mode, and vice versa. the incremental conductance technique controls the boost converter and confirms maximum PV power extraction. the bidirectional converter connects BES to the dc bus. the dc bus voltage $({{V}_{dc}})$ is regulated by a slime mold optimized proportional-integral controller to limit the dynamic state variation and improve stability. the voltage-source converter (VSC) is controlled by a minimum kernel-risk-sensitive mean p-power loss algorithm during the grid-synchronization mode. In contrast, the voltage control algorithm executes islanded control of VSC. the VSC control transition is achieved seamlessly without any significant disturbance at the point of common coupling. the hardware test results demonstrate that the present system remains stable during dynamic conditions and performs adequately as per the ieee 519-2014 standard.

Masked face recognition is becoming an essential requirement in most of the facial recognition based access control and authentication systems, particularly after the Covid-19 pandemic. the work analyses the capability of Region Based Convolutional Neural Networks (R-CNN) for masked face detection and demonstrates a facial recognition system with R-CNN in hardware. R-CNN uses Region Proposal Networks (RPN) that can extract non-occluded region on an image and feed it to a Deep Neural Network for recognition. the R-CNN classifier running on the region containing the non-occluded part of the face will be used for classification in case of a masked face. In case of recognition of unmasked face, the classifier will be run on the region containing the face. By this way, the system will be able to recognize face for both cases. Python modules like opencv, numpy have been used for image pre-processing, while Tensorflow has been used for image classification. Custom dataset is used for training. the trained deep learning model is evaluated using a confusion matrix heat-map which can be used to know the reliability of the model. the demonstration system consists of a Raspberry Pi module connected to a door actuator and a camera. On successful authentication, the system opens the door. © 2022 ieee.

With the development of the Internet, cloud computing, big data, distributed and other technologies have been widely used, and the scale of the network continues to expend and increase in complexity. the traditional 4A system has limited management and control capabilities in the face of complex networks, and the existing security risks and information security issues are key issues that must be resolved. In the 4A system, the concept of zero trust is applied, and the characteristics of continuous authentication and dynamic authorization of the zero trust network are used to establish an efficient 4A system to meet the security requirements of managers for network security and resource management. this paper discusses the comparison between traditional security management and control methods and the introduction of zero trust/ Software Defined Perimeter (SDP), the system in terms of authentication and access control, and the specific practice of applying SDP security products to enhance protection capabilities. © 2022 ieee.

In this paper, distributed plug-and-play (PnP) optimization control method for interconnected industrial processes is studied. Due to the influence of information interaction between subsystems, the performance of each subsystems are affected by their neighbor subsystem. Decentralized control approaches face difficulty in achieving satisfactory performance where the impact of information interaction between subsystems. Centralized optimal control method can achieve good results, but it burden on communication and computing. Compared with centralized and decentralized controller, distributed approaches has less online computational load and more flexible implementation schemes in interconnected industrial processes. In this work, a residual-driven distributed PnP optimization control approach is further developed, in which local residuals and residuals from neighbor subsystems are used to drive PnP optimization controllers. the influence between adjacent subsystems is fully considered in this design method. Experimental results on a three tank benchmark system show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. © 2022 ieee.

Active clamp flyback is used as a high-quality converter topology to obtain high frequency power. the dual-loop dual-variable (DLDV) control approach, which includes voltage, current, and period directive loops, has been found to be very suitable for use in active clamp flyback converters. In contrast, a complex control framework can cause the controller to be difficult to design, causing the system's dynamic response to suffer. As a result, twin active bridge DC-DC converters with enormous capacity and high power have been used. As a result, this investigation looks into a dual active bridge DC-DC converter with unbiased point clamping and dual phase-shift modulation. A small amount of backflow power and gentle switching procedures are required to improve the efficiency of a DC-DC converter. this study presents an improved control approach for modifying phase-shift variables based on bus voltage and set power. the operation of the converter can be tuned for gentle switching and the lowest possible backflow power using this control method. To estimate the system's performance, MATLAB software can be used. © 2022 ieee.

Sinara, an open-source hardware ecosystem, has been designed to facilitate quantum experiments' efficient man-agement. Abiding by the CERN Open Hardware License, Sinara comprises over 50 modules, most of which are commercially available, representing a broad spectrum of capabilities. A crucial element of Sinara is its integration with the Advanced Real-Time Infrastructure for Quantum physics (ARTIQ) control system. this combination provides researchers with a robust toolkit with capabilities such as 1 ns timing resolution. It also includes a comprehensive suite of tools designed to manage experiment scheduling, versioning, results storage, and hardware management, enhancing the efficiency of quantum experiment workflows. the poster presents proposed development of Sinara based control system for a commercially available ion trap solution, with a systematic strategy to replace components of the control system with Sinara modules. this method affords valuable hands-on experience that will help in the design of future modules and the enhancement of existing ones. Proposed Sinara control system is to be made up of several subsystems, including high voltage controls, electrical controls, shuttling and readout, and laser controls. Each subsystem is managed through a PC and operated via ARTIQ or MQTT protocol, providing a structured framework for management. the subsystems utilize several advanced hardware components, including the Kasli v2 controller, Shuttler DAC, and DIOT STM controller, among others. © 2023 ieee.
