the intelligent system controls the subsystems of each aircraft in real time to ensure the normal development of the tasks of the aircraft system. In the process of system communication, the control system is required to strictly control the correctness of the control algorithm flow and the accuracy of the control sequence in order to ensure the safety of the aircraft system. this paper uses UPPAAL, a formal model detection tool based on time automata theory, to formally model and validate the algorithm flow of an intelligent system and a subsystem. First, the algorithm flow of the intelligent system is analyzed, and then it is formally modeled using the time automaton method. Second, the properties that need to be verified are extracted from the algorithm flow and described with the formal language BNF. Finally, the function and performance correctness are automatically verified using the UPPAAL model detection tool. the experimental results verify that the intelligent system meets the security, accessibility and activity requirements. © 2021 ieee.

Today solar energy is one of the famous nonconventional energy sources present. But use of solar energy for the power generation is not reliable due to the discontinuity in its availability. this problem can be eliminated by the use of other energy sources in parallel to the photovoltaic array. the integration of two or more energy sources to meet the load demand is known as hybrid energy system. In this paper a PV array is used along with a battery as a backup source to a resistive load. Extra power generated by the PV array is used for the charging of the battery. When the load demand rises the battery shares the load with the PV array. the load is supplied by the battery alone when the PV array is absent. A buck boost converter has been employed that is connecting the PV array to dc link. A bidirectional DC-DC converter connects the battery to the dc link. the mathematical modeling of both the converters has been done in this paper. A robust control topology has been developed for the charging and discharging of the battery. the scheme also helps in keeping the actual dc link voltage constant at required dc link voltage. the overall control topology of the proposed system is implemented in MATLAB Simulink and the simulation results for different cases by changing various parameters have also been included. © 2021 ieee.

Microgrid is a key to an efficient and resilient power grid operation. thus in this paper, a robust control scheme is implemented namely modified frequency locked loop (MFLL), proficient in eliminating the voltage and current fluctuations because of phase/frequency variation. therefore, enhancing the consistency of the supply across nonlinear load through a smooth transition from utility-interactive to islanded mode. It also achieves accelerated convergence and reduced steady-state error. MFLL is an easy control technique, with only one interfacing voltage source converter, which delivers a stable supply to critical loads during different operating modes. the implemented system has the main advantage of the capability of power-sharing between distributed generations (DGs) systems while regulating the voltage at the DC link. It also provides power quality improvement through harmonics suppression;voltage regulation during contingencies like unbalance in load and compensation in reactive power at the common coupling point following the prerequisite of the system. the performance through the implemented control algorithm is brought about in MATLAB 15b/Simulink platform. the performances of results are compared with already reported control strategies. thus, simulated results comparison with existing work presents the competence of the implemented control strategy under dynamic conditions. © 2021 ieee.

the Internet of Vehicles (IoV) represents a novel concept in vehicle communication, seamlessly is integrating cloud computing, the Internet of things (IoT), and Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs). Its popularity has been steadily rising, offering innovative solutions for efficient transportation management. Within a dynamic system replete with moving vehicles, addressing routing problems and related challenges is imperative. Optimal routes necessitate collective decision-making, considering the entire network rather than individual routes. Tackling this complexity, the adoption of optimization techniques becomes pivotal in seeking optimal solutions for intricate issues. this paper undertakes a comprehensive review and discussion of diverse optimization methods applicable to IoV routing protocols.

the proposed system incorporates a network of sensors strategically placed within the greenhouse to collect crucial environmental data, including temperature, humidity and soil moisture. these sensors form a connected ecosystem that continuously transmits data to a cloud-based platform. the cloud infrastructure, implemented using IBM Watson IoT platform, serves as a centralized hub for data storage, analysis, and decision-making. Furthermore, the system includes actuators responsible for controlling environmental parameters within the greenhouse. Automated climate control mechanisms are orchestrated based on real-time data insights. the implementation utilizes Raspberry Pi as the central processing unit, running Python scripts to interact with the sensors and actuators. To facilitate user-friendly interaction and real-time monitoring, the system integrates web interfaces developed using Node-Red. these interfaces provide remote access to greenhouse conditions and enable users to make informed decisions for optimal plant growth. An automated greenhouse prototype is finally implemented for monitoring and climate control system.

Solar power is a great alternative to existing power sources. Global warming will lead to a lack of power sources soon. With the rapid increase of electrical power in the atmosphere, it is necessary to take strong steps to manage it. Solar power is affected by the weather. the development of solar charge controllers is therefore necessary. the solar charge controller connects the load between the photovoltaic panel and the battery. During the day, the PV panel supplies the load as well as charges the battery, and during the night, the battery supplies the load. By using the solar charge controller, the PV panel will operate at MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking), and the battery will be protected from damage (undercharging and overcharging) by checking its state of charge. Variable and constant DC supplies can be supported by the charge controller. DC nano grids, solar-powered electric vehicles, and thermoelectric modules for heating and cooling can benefit from this technology. © 2021 ieee.

the technology of electrical energy generation from the renewable energy sources is emerging as a solid solution to meet the fast-growing electrical energy demand. the dependency of the power generation with the climatic variations is challenging the reliable power supply. It also promotes the conventional fossil fuel-based power generation units in conjunction with renewable sources. this paper presents an efficient energy management system based on a pumped hydro storage power plant (PHSPP) for a high-power solar photovoltaic (PV) generation system. Pumped storage plants are being used in power systems for peak power management but the PHSPP with grid power quality improvement and renewable energy integration is reporting for the first time. Here, the system is demonstrated for supporting the grid power demand during the power fluctuations from PV power plants. It is able to satisfy the grid power demand, by absorbing excess PV power to pump the water to the reservoir when PV power is in excess of grid power demand and vice versa. Moreover, the PV inverter is controlled for power quality improvement. Variable and nonlinear substation loads are connected at the system common point. the PV power plant converter unit mitigates the load's reactive power and harmonic demands. It is presented as a promising solution for improving the power reliability of high-power PV power plants. the system is tested in the MATLAB/Simulink platform, and the theoretical claims are validated with results. Moreover, an experimental prototype is being developed, and few results are included in this manuscript, which supports the simulation results. © 2021 ieee.

Under the background of the “dual carbon” goal and related policies and the construction of new power systems, the large-scale deployment of sensing terminals and the explosive growth of the perception amount of data in the distribution system, the low transmission efficiency of the traditional distribution network has been unable to meet the needs of “comprehensive perception and efficient collaboration”. How to achieve rapid transmission and real-time analysis of massive sensing data has become one of the main challenges of the new distribution network. Adding lossless compression to edge computing provides a way to transmit lightweight data at cloud edge. Considering the QoS requirements of differentiated concurrent services, this paper proposes an intelligent compressed cross-domain deterministic communication system for differentiated concurrent services. First, a cross-domain deterministic communication system model for differentiated concurrent services is constructed. the problem is optimized according to service QoS requirements and model constraints, and the service compression ratio is minimized under the condition that the service requirements are met. then deep reinforcement learning method is used to solve the problem, and finally the proposed system effectively improves the certainty of massive distributed PV through simulation.

the world is facing a massive challenge as the COVID-19 outbreak strikes across the globe. Many efforts have been made to detect, control and contain the coronavirus proactively and aggressively before a further catastrophe occurs. Indeed, ending the global COVID-19 pandemic is not a simple task. It requires adequate planning and implementation of sustainable strategies and interventions to control COVID-19 from keep spreading globally. One way to address this issue is using system Dynamics (SD). With this aim in mind, this paper presents an initial COVID-19 modelling work in the formulation stage of SD methodology. A literature review was carried out on published and unpublished papers to understand the essential outbreak model design structure. Within this process, a total of 15 COVID-19 models in SD were gathered and analysed. As the outcome, this paper highlights the components of the conceptual representation model for the COVID-19 outbreak, which later can serve as the core basis for modelling complex COVID19 outbreak dynamics and interventions for future development. As an implication, a comprehensive model can be developed to support decision making. © 2021 ieee.

Traditional power generation methods are causing environmental issues. Some of the other drawbacks like line loading will increase the losses and the response time will be very high, which cannot be supporting the future electric vehicle and charging infrastructure loads. the advancement in power electronic converter system can greatly improve the performance of the distributed generation (renewable sources) and utilization (EV load and charging station, smart electronic load). the line loading and response time can be greatly improved by a novel power converter. this conjunction of different sources and loads controlling one another with help of a power converter (virtual synchronous machine) is known as a microgrid system. It can be based on renewables (RES) and non-renewable forms like Photovoltaic (PV) systems, fuel cells, wind systems, or diesel generators. Some of the renewable sources are intermittent (PV, Wind) which causes voltage fluctuations. this paper mainly emphasises the full utilization of power converter rating. the converter can operate in multiple modes one of them is full active power mode and the other is reactive power mode. If the source PV and wind is unable to generate active power at full capacity at that time power converter capability can be used for reactive power generation. In addition, it proposes a reactive power market for the DG system based on renewable sources. the voltage profile for the ieee 9 bus system was examined using matpower considering, additional future loads and sources that could have a significant impact on the distribution system. these negative consequences have been mitigated by carefully selecting the size and the location of the renewable energy sources and controlling the power electronic converter accordingly with suitable control algorithm. © 2021 ieee.
