the frequency limitation is crucial for the power system as it shows the economical matching between the energy generations with power demand. this aim becomes difficult to achieve especially when electrical energy is generated via means of hydro sources. the technical reason is hydro turbines answering time to load variation is high. However, as the future energy goals have shifted to cleaner and emission free sources and that is why hydro power cannot be neglected and they can play a major role in fulfilling the power needs of the modern society. this research work is aim to study and design various control designs for an interlinked hydro systems in order to manage the load frequency control (LFC) activities of the interlinked hydro system. the study includes the modelling as well as designs of Z-N tuned PID, manual PID and their performance analysis. At last, the new and strong JAYA optimization technique is developed and tested to develop a new and strong PID i.e., JAYA-PID for hydro systems. the performance analysis of all designs are shown numerically and graphically to show the benefits of JAYA-PID over other designs. © 2021 ieee.

In the time of the Covid-19 pandemic there is a need to maintain social distancing and prioritize personal hygiene by the use of face masks and proper sanitary precautions. this although is hard to be monitored and controlled accurately and efficiently, can be done through the use of object detection using convolutional neural networks. this can be done in a way using Tiny-YOLOv4 which is an object detection algorithm that provides lightning-fast detection for many classes of objects without the use of such hardware resources. this project aims to train and test a custom data set using this algorithm to create a highly efficient and accurate face mask detection system that can be easily customized to add additional features such as warning systems, etc. It aims to be a system that can prove to be useful once the pandemic is over as it provides crucial data for the prevention and control of any other possible pandemics that may occur in the future. © 2021 ieee.

Automation is quickly becoming one of the world's most important requirements. All people can benefit from the many sorts of automation. However, extending automation to disabled persons necessitates numerous technologies, making it prohibitive for all. Another disadvantage is that the current approach necessitates constant internet access. To address this issue, we propose a system that employs artificial intelligence to recognize human motions using a camera. We also offer an extra layer of protection to lockers by using face and gesture recognition to unlock them. Our project intends to develop a cost-effective automated home appliance system that does not require the use of the internet or a Smartphone app, thanks to artificial intelligence. © 2021 ieee.

With the current development of industrial Internet technology, the number of interconnected industrial control devices is increasing, the throughput of key data in industrial Internet networks is increasing, and the requirements for deterministic data processing are increasing. Traditional industrial control systems generally use low-performance single-core processors, which operate the collected industrial data in a single-core and single-threaded manner, resulting in poor key data processing capabilities and a lack of data scheduling capabilities. With the development of industrial Internet technology and deterministic network technology, the parallel data processing capabilities of multi-core SoCs can effectively meet the needs of industrial real-time networks. the data flow of the industrial Internet network uses custom data identification and a parallel data processing mechanism. the data faces macro operations such as data packet matching, parsing, and forwarding to establish models, provide accurate execution mechanisms for devices in the time dimension, and effectively ensure high throughput and low-latency deterministic transmission of industrial control data.

Monitoring and controlling the substations is a significant task in this period of automation to provide consumers with safe electricity. But the danger of blackouts, brownouts, and fires is rapidly increasing due to the old configuration of distribution grids (substations) and the absence of automation systems to monitor the vital conditions in substations systems. the substation includes various electronic components such as transformers, breakers, and relays. Overheating can lead to transformer fluid leakage or internal insulation breakdown problems. the old technique requires manual system checking that occurs periodically and with very little precision. Moreover, substations in urban areas are more difficult to check physically and thus take additional time to carry out related activities. We proposed a system that is low cost, user friendly, and works in auto mode to avoid labor involvement, electricity loss. the results of the system are displayed in many ways to assure that the system parameters will be monitored and controlled by more than one person because of safety and protection reasons. the uniqueness of this system is the display of results on desktop and mobile phones simultaneously. the result on the CAYENNE platform validates the performance of our proposed system in real-time monitoring, data logging, and controlling. © 2021 ieee.

In today's competitive world quality assurance of a product is a must before launching it in the market. Quality analysis ensures that the end product or service is of high quality and thus assures a safe and better user experience, which takes 40% of the total time taken to produce the end product. Leak testing is one of the most important processes during the quality analysis of a product. With the industrial revolution 4.0, automation has made the process more reliable, accurate, efficient, and less time-consuming. the main idea of this work is to design an automation system to detect any leakage in a blow-moulded component using the pressure. Programmable Logic controller (PLC), Human Machine Interface (HMI), and pressure transducer are used for this project. © 2021 ieee.

the Internet of things (IoT) facilitates seamless integration and interoperability among various networks, devices, technologies, and products by placing emphasis on control schemas. End-users require uninterrupted and precise connectivity, irrespective of the integration node (e.g., tablet, laptop, television, smartphone, or other internet-connected device). Intelligent IoT devices have the capability to function as flexible connections with ever-changing configurations, enabling timely reactions and potentially worldwide *** response to the urgent requirement for secure real-time control operations, this research paper introduces a methodology that integrates intelligent Internet of things (IoT) system functionalities with power system interfaces. the proposed methodology integrates computing, cryptography, signal/image processing, and communication networks to facilitate authentication and authorization operations via gateways and terminals. this results in a real-time performance environment that is not only more secure but also more adaptable and robust in comparison to conventional approaches. Moreover, the researchers delineate a framework for the Internet of things that is applicable to power system inputs in administrative, industrial, transportation, and comprehensive monitoring environments.

this work proposes a system configuration for onboard interleaved buck boost (IBB) converter which integrate wireless inductive power transfer (IPT) system as well as hybrid energy storage system (HESS). this IBB converter works as boost converter to drive the load at its output as well as it works as a controlled rectifier for IPT link on secondary side to charge the battery. HESS system has battery, super capacitor (SC) combination which improves the battery lifetime and reduce the current stress on the battery during the transients. IBB converter works as a boost converter when it supplies power to load from HESS and it works a buck converter when it charges HESS from IPT link. Dual loop voltage control scheme is used to manage the power available at output dc link. Based on the power availability IBB converter fulfils the load power demand by charging or discharging of HESS while maintaining constant output voltage. To validate the proposed system configuration a scaled down hardware prototype of 500W is prepared in the laboratory.

Due to the increase in the population there is increase in traffic which is the major hurdle for ambulance carrying patients and are not able to reach their destination in time. To solve this problem, we have come up with IoT based "Medical Emergency system". the proposed system clears the traffic congestion by clearing the traffic in the path of the ambulance. the system consists of an android application which allows the ambulance driver to send the route of ambulance to the traffic police. And if traffic is seen in the route the traffic police clear it before the ambulance reaches that point. Meanwhile parameters such as heart rate, ECG, blood pressure, respiration rate and the patient’s information are sent to the doctor with the help of the application and store on cloud. Also, a web application is created which fetch the data from the cloud. © 2021 ieee

the aim of this work is to design a speed controller for DC motor tuning PID controller. To obtain an output with minimum errors, PID parameters are selected using bio-inspired optimization technique of Genetic Algorithm. the system with second order is used to control the speed. this work deals with optimization approach based on bio-inspired in controllers and its merits over traditional is discussed and implemented with help of MATLAB Simulink. DC motor is interfaced to Arduino via Motor driver circuitry. Discrete-Time Reduced-Order GPIO with Genetic algorithm computes parameter of PID controller. thus, Arduino controls DC motor according to computed parameters. the optimization technique putforward in this work can also be applicable for systems having higher order, to provide effective system output having minimum errors. ©2021 ieee
