the approaching of big data era makes traditional data storage methods could not accomplish the mass tasks of analysis, managing and mining. While the rise of cloud computing brings new life to parallel improvement of data mining algorithms. Its efficient programming model, massive storage capacity and powerful computing capabilities provide a broad platform for the development of data mining. Hadoop uses MapReduce programming model for distributed computing and HDFS distributed file system for file storage. this paper studied the K-means algorithm in the clustering algorithm in detail. through the sampling of large-scale data, this paper used convex hull and the solution of the heel point to solve the initial two clustering centers to modify algorithm process. through the MapReduce programming model, it achieved the entire process of parallelization. Finally, it compared the efficiency of the improved algorithm with different distance measurement methods, along with serial parallel mode and different cluster nodes in experiments. With the increasing of cluster nodes and data scale, reliability and computational efficiency of improved parallel algorithm are improved obviously.

With the development of economic globalization, most of countries began to gradually open up their capital market, and improved relevant institutional environment. At the same time, short-term international capital flows caused much more crisis in emerging economies, which emphasizes the importance of the exploration into its influencing factors. this paper will focus on the study of economic institutional factors, including the interest rate policy, exchange rate policy, property rights institutional change, the degree of economic marketization, and the degree of capital market openness in the view of China, and the degree of capital market openness to figure out how to control short-term international capital flows fundamentally. By empirical analysis with VAR model establishment, impulse response functions and variance decomposition with relevant variables' quarter statistics covering 2000 to 2014, we can conclude that the factors above will influence the short-term international capital flow in each way.

In order to realize a system that provides services according to the resident preferences, it is necessary to collect the daily life data of residents for a long term. Especially, the home appliances are closely related to the daily life of people. We can easily collect the control logs of the information home appliances that can be controlled through network. However, types of such appliances are not various and legacy home appliances are mixed in the real home environment. Most home appliances can be controlled by infrared (IR) remote signals. If we can identify the IR signals, we can collect the control logs of the heterogeneous appliances. Although it is difficult to identify the IR signals due to some reasons such as errors of signal, reception environments, etc. In this paper, we propose an identification method for IR signals with different length and format to achieve a system collecting home appliance control logs. Our method identifies the type of home appliance and the type of command by errors between IR signal from remote controller and each signal stored in database. We conducted 10-fold cross-validation for total 140 commands from 14 home appliances. As a result, our method achieved to identify 95.5% accuracy for the type of home appliance and 92% accuracy for the type of command. © 2017 ieee.

Word representation is one of the basic word repressentation methods in natural language processing, which mapped a word into a dense real-valued vector space based on a hypothesis: words with similar context have similar meanings. Models like NNLM, C&W, CBOW, Skip-gram have been designed for word embeddings learning, and get widely used in many NLP tasks. However, these models assume that one word had only one semantics meaning which is contrary to the real language rules. In this paper we pro-pose a new word unit with multiple meanings and an algorithm to distinguish them by it's context. this new unit can be embedded in most language models and get series of efficient representations by learning variable embeddings. We evaluate a new model MCBOW that integrate CBOW with our word unit on word similarity evaluation task and some downstream experiments, the result indicated our new model can learn different meanings of a word and get a better result on some other tasks.

Voltage stability is one of the important issues in the existing power system network and in this paper presents the reactive power load management for voltage stability control in multi-area power system. Evolutionary Programming (EP) as optimization technique was employed in order to manage the load with the aim to control the voltage stability. Pre-developed Fast Voltage Stability Index (FVSI) was utilized as an instrument for voltage security assessment. Single-load and multi-load increment were performed on several loading conditions to obtain maximum reactive power loading with FVSI range from 0 to 0.95 p.u. the proposed EP optimization technique managed to outperform the traditional voltage stability assessment (VSA) approach in terms of achieving accurate results.

Garbage decomposition that produces methane could be very dangerous if not detected properly. this study used methane gas sensor (MQ-4) to detect the presence of methane from the decomposition of fish guts waste. this study also compared different adsorbents such as charcoal, Sodium Bicarbonate and its combinations, their ability to adsorb methane in a specially designed garbage bin. Results showed that after five days of monitoring, all the three tested adsorbents showed reduction in the concentration of methane. However, Sodium Bicarbonate gives the highest percent of reduction at 13.16 %. Charcoal showed 0.53% methane reduction and the combination of the two adsorbent showed 9.22% reduction of methane concentration. In addition, the amount of adsorbent was also considered. Doubling its amount also doubles the amount of methane reduced. We therefore conclude that Sodium Bicarbonate is a possible alternative to reduce methane.

this paper aimed to analyze the effect of electrode spacing and number of electrode fingers of interdigitated electrode (IDE) design for impedance based lard characterization. Two types of interdigitated electrode (IDE) sensor was designed with two different spacing and each type have five different numbers of fingers. Impedance measurement is taken by using precision LCR meter 4285A where the frequency used to measured at 4MHz to 5 MHz. the graph of results show the relationship of impedance, frequency supplied and number of electrode teeth with two differences electrode gap of sensor A and sensor B. It was found that the Sensor A with 50 electrode fingers and width of electrode is 0.5 mm with spacing gap of 0.35 is choosen because higher R squared which is 99.5% compared to the Sensor B with same number of fingers and width but different spacing gap is 0.4 mm has 99.4% of R squared value. this is due to the impedance measurement is more sensitive by increasing the contact surface between the electrodes and the sample under test and the effective electrode area is increased. the data analysis is conducted to quantify and characterize the lard sample. And finally, from this data analysis, the impedance characterization are potential for providing the information about lard detection.

With the analysis and processing of these Big data, it can help customers knowing about the engine health condition in time, ant it can give the faults precaution, can improve the availability of the engine. Meanwhile, it can help the manufactories improving the performance and quality of new products.

Various power quality issues can be mitigated by the introduction of power quality conditioner which shows a spectacular performance for grid tied DG system. this paper studied on various power quality issue, unbalance voltage and current distribution with several fault. Adding different adjusting commands which defines the system like existing reference current harmonic current relation with other system parameters, power wavering etc. are taken into account for achieving quality power and maximal gain. It the solo task of the controller to guide the entire system controlling current to generate the triggering signal for CCVSI. All the system parameter like Grid, DG, controller, MPPT, fault etc. are extensively simulated under MATLAB/SIMULINK platform it is observe that all linear and non-linear load appears as balance load for entire grid. Specifically the faulty unit should isolated from the cascaded system by using sophisticated relays and CBs without affecting the entire system. It is also observed that this novel control strategy satisfactorily mitigate power quality issues without driving the system towards unstable phase. the converters used in this paper have multiple use like active power injector, reactive power compensator harmonic suppressor, power quality conditioner etc. all these task can be extracted either independently or can be performed together. After compensation the source current and source voltage thD value comes below 5% which is suited by ieee 519 standard.
