Nowadays, the electro-hydraulic actuator plays an important role in some modern tactical missiles. High power, great robustness and high tracking precision are the most significant demands for the missile actuator. therefore an advanced method of active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) is presented aiming at the dynamics of the system are highly nonlinear and have large extent of model uncertainties, such as tremendous changes in load. Firstly, a novel ADRC controller is designed for estimating and compensating disturbance based on the mathematical model of missile electro-hydraulic actuator. then, the influence of rudder load on the system performance is analyzed in this paper. Simulation results show that the ADRC control approach can decrease the tracking error and enhance the robustness of missile electro-hydraulic actuator system when the rudder load changed tremendously. But the phenomenon of Anti-control has disadvantageous effect on the transition period of actuator loop and evenly causes the system divergence. © 2009 ieee.

"Food quality and food safety" is a broader term, which means an assurance that food will not cause harm to the consumer when it is eaten and its quality is in lime with its price and promotion information. Due to recent food crises in the world, food quality and food safety have become a hot topic in mass media. Existing quality control systems, applying both sample testing and preventive methods, can detect the food contaminated by known microbiological virus effectively. As virus mutated, the deficiency of existing system is showing. New type food safety incidents break up, and more effectively quality control system are required. this paper proposes an improved quality control system of meat supply chain by integrating iris recognition technology, for iris recognition not only can check whether these piantic livestock come from appointed farm, but also can help to species conservation and high-end meat product identification. this paper takes cattle as an experimental object, and generates iris encoding by using suitable algorithms. © 2009 ieee.

this paper is devoted to integrated control-scheduling in the case of embedded systems with communication delays, i.e. network induced delay and input output latency. Moreover the system control design takes into account the unknown delays due to the temporal uncertainties that are unavoidable in real-time environment, and embedded systems are featured by their limited resources. So, the performance of embedded control systems with communication delays depends not only on controller design, but also on efficient scheduling of the shared computing resources. Our work is to optimize the overall system performance through dynamically allocating limited CPU time based on control requirements. As a result, this paper presents a feedback control and real-time scheduling (FCRS) framework. By applying a control theory based methodology, we systematically design FCRS algorithms to satisfy the performance specifications of embedded systems. ©2009 ieee.

this paper proposes a fusion model that merges the context-aware multimodal information of JADE (Java Agent DEvelopment Framework). the context-aware multimodal information system is developed from the multi-heterogeneous context sensing devices. this multimodal not only gathers multidimensional data that aims to recognize and analyze the collected emotion information, but also emotion manages the context-aware information. According to the collections of users use remote control usages during watching TV and the face recognition technology, we developed a context-aware multimodal information system to recognize emotions. the emotion information is reasoned from the action data of remote control usages that combines with the emotion information gathered from the face recognition. these two information fuses with the feedback mechanism of real emotion to acquire the information of personal emotion representation. this fusion model of context-aware multimodal information provides personal emotion information and learning mechanism to reason the information from contextaware ubiquitous environment applied on personal emotion prediction. © 2009 ieee.

the PID controller has been used as the effective control method. the proper adjustment of the gains is of great importance to obtain the desired performance of the controller. However, it is necessary to find suitable PID gains automatically. this paper presents the modeling and control of Buck chopper type AC voltage regulator while the system is operating under uncertainty and nonlinearity. the PID gains are tuned using improved Heb learning algorithm with single neuron network architecture, which reduce the computational complexity and adjust the controller gains in online way. the developed controller in this work, offer inherent advantages over conventional PID controller, namely: improvement of the adjusting time, output voltage overshoot and control system robustness. these advantages make the proposed method have better dynamic performance. the simulation results verify the validity and robustness of the method used in the ac voltage regulator system. ©2009 ieee.

Inter-platform streaming multimedia between embedded systems has encountered the problem of head-of-line blocking and non-real-time transmission/receiving. When a mobile device in an embedded system moves between subnets, the node will face the handover problem. In this paper, we utilize Stream control Transmission Protocol (SCTP) features to develop the multimedia communications including streaming multimedia and video/voice over IP based on Linux built in an embedded platform. In SCTP, the multi-homing feature enables the mobile node to handover seamlessly between networks. Also the multi-streaming enables data to be sent in multiple, independent streams in parallel, so that data loss in one stream does not affect the delivery of data in other streams to eliminate head-of-line blocking. Another feature Partially Reliable SCTP (PR-SCTP) is used to achieve the real-time video/audio services. © 2009 ieee.

According to the characteristic of all-fresh-air air-conditioning system for automobile painting workshop, this paper put forward meaningful and referential control strategy of the sub-area division control based on enthalpy-absolute humidity chart (that is i-d chart, which is used for determining air state). Under different operation conditions, corresponding temperature and humidity control curves are studied and applied. the high-precision temperature and humidity control system was designed and realized which is based on European 2604 controller and Monitor and control Generated system (MCGS) configuration software. Actual operation proves that the sub-area division control strategy can achieve more precious and stable effects than a conventional one. the testing results show that supply air temperature came to stabilization after 15 minutes of air handling units (AHU) start, with the static deviation less than 0.5 °C, the maximum dynamic deviation less than 2°C;and the supply air humidity is in great agreement with the set point, the maximum dynamic deviation less than 5%. © 2009 ieee.

In this paper the problem of the time inconsistency of the leader strategy in a Multi-Model Game is studied. Initially the game dynamic is given by a family of N different possible differential equations (Multi-Model representation) with no information about the trajectory which is realized. In a previous result the robust Leader-Follower strategy design the min-max strategies for each player which guarantee an equilibrium for the worst case scenario was found. Now this robust strategy are studied in the context of the so called time inconsistency of the leader strategy. We study this problem by means of a doubled extended linear system where the traditional Riccati type equations of the open loop Stackelberg solution are represented by their corresponding co-state equations. © 2009 ieee.

For arch aorta surgery, cardiac surgeons approach to the diseased area with median incision and stemotomy according to the operation plan based on patient's medical images. Even using latest medical diagnosis instruments, however, it is impossible to estimate the shape of aneurysm, so that operation planning plan based on medical images is hard to be perfect. As the mentioned above, cardiac surgeons can not recognize the statement of patient's aneurysm before operation. Because of difficulty to completely recognize the statement of aneurysm from patient's medical images, operation plan often has to be changed during the operation. therefore the coauthor cardiac surgeons highly expect a diagnosis support system that enables them to observe the shape of aneurysm from any angle and to virtually palpate it in order to make more safety operation plan. then this study aims to develop of a diagnosis assistant system by using virtual reality and haptic interface under considering realtime interaction between them. © 2009 ieee.

Reducing time to market, design cost and fast developing, prototyping and testing of embedded industrial and automation models are very interesting topics in recent manufacturing and industry methodologies. In recent years, Model driven architecture or engineering methodology has been introduced in the field of software engineering by OMG. this methodology separate platform independent, and platform specific concerns, and could be utilized and extended to other fields of engineering. In many industrial applications, embedded, distributed and fast sensory data fusion operators are necessary, and system complexities could be dominated by low level dedicated fast fusion operators on real time hardware platforms such as CPLDs and FPGAs. In this experience, embedded data fusion toolbox has been developed for fast design, prototyping, test and implementation of simple fusion operators on embedded industrial platforms. this toolbox has been implemented in MATLAB/ Simulink environment via behavioral arithmetic to the implementation on either FPGA. Reusability, scalability, chip area, precision and other design criteria are considered in design process, and desired HDL models could be obtained automatically. this fully automated toolbox is extendible for complex data fusion operators, subsequently the platform-independent model can be translated to a platform-specific model (PSM) by mapping the PIM to some implementation language or platform using formal rules in order to preparing targeted models in different platforms.
