In this paper, we consider the problem of designing a novel ATTack scheme under charger cApture attaCK(ATTACK) in wireless rechargeable sensor networks. that is, there are a number of wireless chargers with directional antenna and rechargeable directional devices deployed in the 2D plane. An intelligent adversary selects a limited number of chargers to be captured and adjust the compromised chargers' power factor such that the overall attacking utility of devices is maximized. To solve our ATTACK problem, we investigate an attacking algorithm with a constant approximation ratio with lightweight timing complexity. We conduct simulation experiments to verify the performance of our proposed attacking algorithm. the results shows that our proposed attacking algorithm can outperform the comparison algorithm by 69.95%.

there have been several incidents of security violations with regard to the power system network in recent years. In light of this, since operation of the AGC system involves extensive use of communication technologies, there is a high likelihood of system failure if this aspect is compromised. For instance, the impostors may interfere with the announcement network of the bequest network whereby the delegation and information convenience attacks may be effective and have capability of manipulating the telemetered measures such as the wide-area sensor quantities; or the control signals. While there is significant research carried out on AGC security, previous researches have specified the detection of intrusions in the sensor capacities although, more importance has not been placed on evaluating the competency of numerous kinds of outbreaks to the controller signals. Accordingly, the following article discusses a decentralized IDS at the same time to find data incongruities in the sensor dimension and the control signals. the IDS is implemented using a new classifier called CDEL algorithm. the tentative aspect of the CDEL is shown by the ensemble principle which uses the working capability of the SVM and K means clustering model. Based on the experimental results, it is clear that the proposed CDEL is superior to all other related state-of-art ML methods.

In recent years, Wireless sensor Networks (WSNs) have been leading studies and developments. sensors, CPUs, and Bluetooth communication modules are in battery-operated remote sensor nodes. WSNs intentionally monitor and gather data on humidity, temperature, illumination, stress, and vibrations. Using wireless transmission, a centralized base station (BS) or gateways sends the data to a centralized server for processing and evaluation. In an evenly distributed network, cluster leaders are elected by maximum remaining energy and minimal base station distance using mobile sensor network methods. Based on simulations, our protocol surpasses LEACH in network lifespan, usage of energy, packet transfer, and rounds. Further FEEC protocols are suggested for WSNs with low properties. FEEC protocol sends statistics from regular stations to a superior cluster head (SCH) for dissemination to the primarily Station. Network efficiency is enhanced by FEEC compared to LEACH, SEP, TSEP, and CAFL. the suggested FEEC protocol with SCH improves network lifespan and packet delivery ratio (PDR) according to simulation findings. Monitoring regions with the base station in the middle or outdoor of the intended field is possible with this protocol. Simulations reveal that including SCH into the suggested FEEC technique increases the network’s lifespan and the delivery of packets ratio, while experiments demonstrate that FEEC beats LEACH, SEP, TSEP, and CAFL with higher packet delivery rates and greater number of active nodes.

In the field of computer vision, 6D object detection and pose estimation are critical for applications such as robotics, augmented reality, and autonomous driving. Traditional methods often struggle with achieving high accuracy in both object detection and precise pose estimation simultaneously. this study proposes an improved 6D object detection and pose estimation pipeline based on the existing 6D-VNet framework, enhanced by integrating a Hybrid Task Cascade (HTC) and a High-Resolution Network (HRNet) backbone. By leveraging the strengths of HTC's multi-stage refinement process and HRNet's ability to maintain high-resolution representations, our approach significantly improves detection accuracy and pose estimation precision. Furthermore, we introduce advanced post-processing techniques and a novel model integration strategy that collectively contribute to superior performance on public and private benchmarks. Our method demonstrates substantial improvements over state-of-the-art models, making it a valuable contribution to the domain of 6D object detection and pose estimation.

Recently, user privacy in distributed computing has received increasing attention. Matrix multiplication is one of the fundamental high-frequency operations in distributed machine learning (e.g., gradient descent, linear regression). this paper studies the batch Fully Private distributed Matrix Multiplication (FPMM) problem. In batch FPMM, the user aims to compute multiple desired matrix multiplications from two public libraries which are stored across all workers. Batch FPMM requires that colluding workers cannot obtain the indexes of all desired ma-trices in the two public libraries (i.e., privacy constraint). In this paper, we first propose the Bath fullY privatE schemE (BYEE) to encode multiple desired matrix multiplications together based on the construction of bilinear complexity. We then perform a solid theoretical analysis to prove the privacy and decodability of BYEE. Multi-aspect analysis and extensive simulation results illustrate that BYEE can significantly reduce the computation latency than state-of-the-art schemes that do not jointly encode multiple desired matrix multiplications, especially when the number of desired matrix multiplications and the number of colluding workers are large.

Renewable energy sources (RES) are pollution free, inexhaustible as well as sustainable and their penetration is proliferating globally. Among the RES, solar photovoltaic (PV) systems possess key advantages like the absence of fuel cost, modular and static structure, longer life with reduced maintenance, and high power capability. Grid-tied PV systems have become prevalent due to the benefit of extremely effectual utilization of produced power. However, the grid integration of solar PV systems creates issues like voltage, frequency fluctuations, harmonic distortion and islanding. Islanding is a paramount issue in grid-tied PV systems, in which a part of the utility system, that encompasses both distributed generation sources and loads, remains energized while disconnected from the rest of the utility system. In an attempt to maintain the quality of delivered power as well as assure the safety of personnel and equipment, the solar PV inverters must be able to detect and prevent islanding. Hence, this paper investigates the efficacy of voltage harmonics-based islanding detection as a simple and low cost technique of implementing islanding protection for grid-tied PV systems. the dynamic performance of the suggested strategy is investigated for a 25 kW grid integrated PV system under islanding conditions utilizing the MATLAB/Simulink platform. the simulation results demonstrate that the voltage harmonics-based islanding detection scheme offers the advantages of fast response with smaller non-detection zone and no degradation of system stability and power quality compared to other state-of-the-art methods. the suggested strategy provides reliable islanding protection even in the presence of high Q-factor loads and during conditions of load and PV generation reactive power balance. © 2021 ieee.

Node failure is one of the most typical issues in distributed storage systems. the classic fault-tolerance methods can meet the fault tolerance needs of systems deployed in edge storage, 5G IoT, and other high-performance data centers. However, mobile distributed systems contend with inconsistent network signals and relatively low bandwidth in weak network environments. the traditional fault-tolerance schemes have difficulty ensuring distributed storage and data repair simultaneously, posing a considerable challenge to data storage reliability. To address this problem, we proposed a hybrid fault-tolerance scheme based on potential replicas, called HFPR, which trades off storage overhead and performance for weak network mobile distributed storage systems. HFPR first stores data with the erasure code redundancy and then gradually increases data redundancy by reserving potential replicas, enabling the system to disperse network transmission pressure and reduce network transmission. To maximize replica utilization and control the storage overhead of potential replicas, we design a node state prediction mechanism and a file lifecycle management mechanism. Evaluation results show that, compared with the traditional hybrid fault-tolerant scheme with the same storage overhead, HFPR achieves better replica-level repair efficiency in data repair and a reduced probability of degraded reads by approximately 50%. During data distribution, HFPR can minimize data write amplification by up to 1.1× and additional network transfers by up to 77.5%.

Data Distribution Service (DDS) is a widely-used middleware for data transmission in distributed real-time applications, such as autonomous vehicles and robotics. However, the communication of existing DDS middlewares generally relies on the network stacks of the operating system, which brings long latency to the real-time applications. In this paper, we propose a DPDK-based DDS, dubbed 3DS, to improve the performance of communication of DDS middlewares. First, 3DS reduces the latency of communication between distributed real-time applications by avoiding the latency of kernel. Second, 3DS reduces the overhead of dynamic memory allocation and deallocation by a reserved memory pool. Finally, 3DS adopts a thread-exclusive CPU model to reduce the resource contention between threads. We implement and evaluate 3DS on real systems running Linux. the experimental results show that 3DS reduces 44% of the communication latency over FastDDS, which is the state-of-the-art DDS middleware used by ROS2. Moreover, the throughput of data transfer in 3DS can be 1.51 times that of FastDDS.

Coconut toddy is a traditional beverage in many countries in Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, and South America. It has a short shelf life. Usually, it can only be consumed hours after harvesting to avoid its acidic and sour taste. thus, it is necessary to improve its shelf life with the use of nonthermal ways. We developed a device and a control system to extend the shelf life of coconut toddy. An ultraviolet light, a circulation chamber, and an open-loop automated control system were used to expose the samples at different time intervals of 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 min. the treated samples were tested and compared to the untreated samples in terms of physicochemical tests such as pH, alcohol by volume, Brix (Sugar Content) and titratable acidity, and microbial tests (Total Aerobic Plate Count and Total Yeast and Molds). After physicochemical and microbial tests, the 6-minute treated sample exhibited the longest shelf life, retaining the four parameters. the effectiveness of the treatment was confirmed with the TYM Results, whereas the 6-minute treated sample showed the least number of yeast and molds which were from <10 cfu/ml (0 hour) to 100 cfu/ml after 48 hours.
