In order to improve the utilization and reliability of distributed generation (distributed generation, DG) in active distribution network fault recovery, maximize the power supply of important loads and improve the power quality of the system, a distribution network reconfiguration strategy with DG based on island division is proposed. When the distribution network breaks down, firstly, the improved Kruskal algorithm is used to divide the distribution network into islands. then, the nodes that are not included in the scope of islands and the distributed generation without black start ability are connected with the system. Based on the improved genetic algorithm, the objective function is to maximize the power supply recovery of important loads and minimize the action times of switches, and the node voltage constraint, the distribution network is reconstructed under the constraints of line current constraints and network topology constraints. Finally, the effectiveness of this method is verified by an example of ieee33 node system.

In this manuscript Capacitor Clamped Boost Inverter (CCBI) is utilized for the power extraction from the unregulated dc bus formed by low voltage fuel cell along with the energy storage unit. Inherent properties of CCBI offers single stage power conversion, high power quality and lower capacitor voltage stresses in the power conversion. Dual loop voltage control strategy in voltage control mode to CCBI and current mode control of Bidirectional DC-DC converter (BDC) offers effective energy management to meet the load requirement, and offers better dynamic performance under load varying condition. Furthermore, performance exploration has been carried out to assess the effectiveness of the proposed converter with the existing similar type of single stage power converters for the same dc-ac conversion. Simulation-based results proved that proposed inverter offers enhanced power quality, lower capacitor voltage stresses and enhanced life of the converter in such single stage converter systems. © 2021 ieee.

Fog computing is an emerging distributed computing model for the realization of the Internet of things (IoT). It extends computing and caching functions to the edge of wireless networks. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) provide effective support for fog computing, as UAVs can not only act as a relay between mobile users and physically remote edge devices to avoid costly long-range wireless communications, but also are equipped with computing facilities that can take over certain tasks. In this paper, we aim to optimize the energy efficiency of a fog computing system assisted by a single UAV, by planning the trajectories of the UAV and assigning computing tasks to different devices including the UAV itself. We propose two algorithms based on the classical Ant Colony and Particle Swarm Optimization techniques, and solve the problem by continuous convex approximation. Different from most existing studies where the trajectories are assumed to be straight lines, we account for the effect of obstacles, such as buildings, and deliberately avoid them during the trajectory planning phase. We demonstrate, through extensive simulation experiments, that our proposed approach can achieve significantly better energy efficiency compared to existing benchmark algorithms.

In this work, distributed Energy Resources (DER) (like large scale Photovoltaic (PV) and Battery Energy Storage (BES)) are used with the cells of Modular multilevel Converter (MMC). However, integrating DER with the cells of MMC causes power unbalance issue within the converter. the power unbalanced due to PV system can happen from different rated PVs, dust layer, partial shading, etc. At the same time power unbalance in MMC with batteries can happen due to different rated battery, different State of Charge (SoC), etc. the power unbalance in the MMC results in an increase in circulating current (CC) leading to additional loss and over current issue. this paper investigates a novel control technique, solving the power unbalance issue without using circulating current. the novel control technique comprises of (i) independent arm control technique and (ii) the zero-sequence voltage (ZSV) injection technique. the independent arm control technique is used to solve the power mismatch between arms of same leg, thereby reducing the fundamental frequency AC circulating current. Whereas the zero-sequence voltage (ZSV) injection technique to solve the power unbalance between different legs. Furthermore, the overmodulation caused due to ZSV injection is counter with BES. Hence, a wider range of power unbalance can be solved without CC. A MATLAB-simulation model and scaled down experimental laboratory prototype is used to verify the power balancing method.

Digital transformation requires new views and strategies for edge computing for Industrial Internet of things applications. In this work, we elaborate the importance of time-aware data spaces as a conceptual entity for a digital and scaleable approach in a data-driven world. this work introduces these small data spaces deployed and distributed through edge analytic boxes. the concept time-aware data space is more suitable than single sensors for this type of application. It is particularly suitable in the edge-to-cloud continuum to build robust solutions and allow a new view on these types of applications. Moreover, we use this approach in a production environment. the requirements are a suitable application area for our time-aware data spaces. they can be used to monitor the environment, the machines or the production processes. Such an approach can also be integrated into other existing solutions with reasonable efforts. © 2021 ieee.

Identifying influence-maximizing (IM) nodes is an effective strategy for designing efficient communication networks or contain the spreading of information for rumors and epidemics with limited budgets. With the growing of the sizes of the social networks, finding solutions to the problem of intfuence − maximizing vertices becomes more and more challenging. Tra-ditionally, the number of users finally affected was the focus. However, the information diffusion speed was becoming a bottle-neck of IM problems. In this paper, we proposed a locality-aware vertex selection strategy based on local isolation centrality (LIC), while the information diffusion experiments used the Independent Cascade (IC) model. the computing scheme was implemented by a distributed graph computing framework. the superiority of the LIC algorithm was confirmed by evaluated on three real-world datasets. It was indistinguishable from algorithms such as K-shell, H-index, degree centrality (DC), local centrality (LC), and VoteRank at the diffusion cascade scale. But it showed better superiority in diffusion speed. More importantly, by comparing LIC with the VoteRank algorithm, which was the closest algorithm on diffusion speed to that of LIC, the huge advantage of the LIC algorithm in terms of time cost was found. We believe that the locality-aware LIC algorithm was more suitable for the influence-maximization problem in very large-scale social networks.

A value chain optimizes the economic benefit of an enterprise alliance by integrating the cooperation relationships among the upstream and downstream companies. Nevertheless, the absence of information security mechanisms within the value chain limits the horizontal cooperation between competing enterprises. the paper proposes a scheme for building an enterprise value chain network based on an alliance blockchain. In the scheme, a distributed authentication technology and cross-chain transaction technology are introduced into the value chain, which enhances the security and reliability of value chain information and facilitates horizontal cooperation among companies. Using Hyperledger Fabric platform, we simulate and extensively evaluate an enterprise value chain network. Experimental results demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed scheme, which can serve as a guide for the construction of enterprise value chain networks in the real world.

the method of positioning, localization, and geographic location in WSNs is investigated in this thesis. Anchor nodes, location-aware nodes with GPS, and nodes that are manually positioned during deployment make up the three main categories of sensor nodes that contribute to a WSN's scalability, which may go from tens to thousands. Common nodes that need localization techniques to be pinpointed are non-localized sensor nodes. the resolution at which localized nodes calculate the positions of other nodes varies with the use case. Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA) may be measured in two ways: first, by utilizing anchor nodes as a reference to identify sensor nodes; and second, by having the anchor nodes send RF signals to all of the nodes and then measuring the noisy TDOA. this thesis examines the surveillance configuration and TDOA, which factors in the time transformation of entrance and the speed of signal propagation in dry air, assesses the distances from transmitter sensor nodes to anchor nodes. Another way to find a sensor node's position is to set up a single node to communicate with the anchor nodes, and then use methods like triangulation, maximum likelihood estimation, and multiliterate to calculate its exact location. there is an impact on the sensor network lifetime and increased energy usage using this approach.

Utilizing renewable energy sources as distributed generation (DG) reduces the pollutant emissions of conventional fossil-fueled generation. Optimized planning is required to prevent serious technical issues resulting from poor implementation. this paper presents an optimization scheme which simplifies the problem by using linearization. Power flow equations are linearized at steady-state operating points, and sensitivity coefficients are calculated for constraints such as voltage and distribution system flow limits. Linear programming (LP) finds the optimal capacities of DG units. Compared to commonly used artificial intelligence (AI) techniques which are computationally expensive, the proposed method is more efficient for finding the optimal capacity of DGs in large distribution systems. the proposed framework is appropriate for planning applications in which efficiency and accuracy are prioritized.

In order to solve the problem that the temperature of the tube wall of the tube plate dryer cannot get real-time data feedback during the drying process, which affects the moisture at the exit of the leaf wire drying and the sensory quality of the cigarette, a distributed temperature measurement system was innovatively designed to monitor the key temperature change points of the tube wall in real time and ensure the stability and consistency of the parameters during the drying process. Based on the structure of SH35F tube plate wire drying machine, a simulation model was established. the axial and radial distribution characteristics of the temperature field of the barrel of the wire drying machine and the key points of temperature field changes were calculated by means of fluid control equation and heat control equation. A temperature detection unit consisting of battery module, temperature measurement module and temperature sensor probe was installed at the key points of temperature change of the barrel. To achieve high precision continuous temperature measurement, and then use lora module to form a wireless network for data transmission, each measurement point is configured with a wireless transmission module, so that the real-time monitoring data of each temperature measurement unit can be uniformly transmitted through wireless communication to the supreme computer for data transmission and processing. MySQL database is used to develop the system database for data processing, storage, display and analysis. Finally, taking A brand of cigarettes as the research object, the temperature acquisition system was used to continuously sample the temperature of the dryer cylinder wall during the production process. the results showed that the temperature detection system reached normal operation, and the temperature detection accuracy was less than 0.2 °C. the transmission of measurement data runs stably, the effective working distance of the wireless signal receiver reach
