this study distrubuted learning and machine learning to diagnose lung illnesses, is described in this research report. the experimental design examines four different healthcare customers and six different kinds of lung disorders. the main reason for implementing FL is the pressing necessity to protect patient data privacy. FL is unique because it enables training on decentralized data without explicit sharing. the suggested technique is used to show strong performance in identifying different lung illnesses. To prevent learning from being skewed toward anyone dataset, the local datasets of each client were fed into the model, resulting in a global model with more broad and nuanced learning. For each client and type of condition, the findings were astonishingly constant, with precision, memory, and F1 scores ranging from around 95% to 98% and an unchanging accuracy of 0.99 across all courses and customers. the model was assessed by three distinct averaging techniques-Macro, Weighted, and Micro. Results for the macro-Average varied from 89.08% to 91.36%, showing the model's effectiveness across several classes. Results ranged from 90.38% to 91.89%, indicating the model's capacity to adjust to unbalanced datasets using weighted averages. Results ranged from 90.34% to 91.59% for the micro-Average, representing the model's global accuracy and recall skills. the robustness of the strategy is shown by the consistently strong performance across a vast clientele and several classifications of lung disorders. this study advances healthcare analytics by showing how sophisticated machine learning models can accurately identify lung ailments while maintaining data privacy. these models are trained via federated learning approaches. © 2023 ieee.

the placement of DG units such as wind and photovoltaic systems in distribution networks impacts their operation and reliability, causing overall voltage profile increase and stability problems. therefore, the impacts of various photovoltaic distributed generation units (PVDGs) operating modes and penetration levels on the steady-state voltage profile and stability of electrical distribution networks are investigated in this study. the voltage control mode (PV) and the constant power mode (PQ), and the PVDG units' operation are considered and applied to the ieee-33 bus radial distribution network. the PVDG unit's positions and penetration levels integrated into the network are modified to maintain +/- 5% bus voltage levels. the distribution system's total power loss (PL) and loading margin (LM) are recorded for each case study. the results show an improved voltage profile, higher LM and minimal PL for the PV mode of PVDG operation units more than the PQ mode. the system is modeled and simulated in DigSilent (PowerFactory) software.

the proteomics data analysis pipeline based on the shotgun method requires efficient data processing methods. the parallel algorithm of mass spectrometry database search faces the problems of rapidly expanding database size but low scalability. the heterogeneous database search algorithm based on deep learning is an effective way to solve this problem. Still, the deep learning-based distributed parallel database search algorithm is lacking. this paper analyzes the database searching computational load using a neural network and designs ReSLB, a workflow for the restricted search of mass spectrometry data based on GPU cluster and neural network scoring algorithm. this work aims to ensure the high scalability of future deep learning-based mass spectrometry distributed databases. In the performance estimation of 256 GPUs, the load imbalance of less than 30% and the parallel efficiency of 60% are achieved. Compared with state-of-the-art, the time cost is reduced by 75%, and the parallel efficiency from 1 to 256 GPUs is 3.6x higher than that. © 2022 ieee.

distributed responsive system has the features of component separation based on IP network connectivity and real-time response based on message driven or event driven mechanism, which is widely used in the construction of large-scale serving systems. Due to confidentiality considerations, the access to their source code is usually unavailable. therefore, when conducting security checks on the system externally, black-box fuzzing is generally used. However, the traditional black-box fuzzing is not capable for the guidance on the fuzzing data generation due to the lack of code coverage and other indicators, resulting in poor testing effectiveness. To address the problem, an Intelligent Black-box Fuzzing method for distributed responsive system (IBF) is proposed, which uses clustering algorithm (CA), Wasserstein generativ eadversarial network with gradient penalty (WGAN-GP), and genetic algorithm (GA) to assist the guidance on the fuzzing data generation. For the convenience of description, we use Evolved Packet Core (EPC) as the research target, which is a typical distributed responsive system in Long Term Evolution (LTE). the result of black-box fuzzing on open-source EPC platform shows that the method proposed has a better performance on triggering crashes of the target than traditional black-box fuzzing methods. © 2023 ieee.

Quantum computer simulators running on classical computers are essential for developing real quantum computers and emerging quantum applications. In particular, state vector simulators, which store a full state vector in memory and update it in every quantum operation, can be used to simulate an arbitrary form of quantum circuits, debug quantum applications, and validate future quantum computers. Since the time and space complexity grows exponentially with the number of qubits and easily exceeds the capability of a single machine, various distributed state vector simulators are developed. However, these are tuned for common CPUs and GPUs, not for ARM CPUs. therefore, we develop a distributed state vector simulator, mpiQulacs, that is optimized for large-scale simulation on A64FX-based cluster systems. A64FX is a 48-core ARM-based CPU having high-bandwidth memory (HBM2) and also used in one of the world's top supercomputers, Fugaku. As computational optimization, we vectorize qubit operations with Scalable Vector Extension (SVE) to fully utilize its HBM2. To reduce the amount of inter-node communication for scalable simulation, mpiQulacs provides a fused-swap gate that collectively performs multiple swap operations as one operation and a quantum circuit optimizer that automatically adds fused-swap gates to a circuit. We evaluate weak and strong scaling of mpiQulacs with up to 39 qubits on our 512-node A64FX-based cluster system. the result shows that mpiQulacs achieves high-scalability on hundreds of nodes in benchmark and practical quantum circuits, and its performance is comparable with the existing well-known distributed state vector simulators. © 2023 ieee.

For industry 4.0, vibration analysis is crucial in the diagnosis of mechanical systems, thanks to its ability to identify anomalies, whether structural or operational. this article aims to explain in detail this method of analysis on a hydroelectric generator. through the exploration of eight distinct operating modes, the collection of specific vibration data, and an in-depth understanding of the system's reactions under varied conditions. this data is then subjected to careful evaluation to determine overall speed and travel levels. this critical step provides a comprehensive assessment of overall alternator performance and behavior. this detailed analysis constitutes a solid basis for assessing the state of health of the alternator, anticipating possible failures, and recommending preventive and corrective actions. To ensure the credibility of the results obtained, validation is carried out in accordance with the rigorous standards established by ISO 10816-5 and ISO 7919-5. this approach guarantees the reliability and precision of the confidence of the system studied in order to give recommendations formulated to maintain reliability and efficiency. © 2024 ieee.

Wireless sensor Networks (WSNs) are used in many applications such as environmental monitoring, disaster relief and health care systems. WSNs typically contain a large number of small, battery-powered devices called sensor nodes. the main challenge in WSNs is providing reliable and efficient communication links among the nodes in the network. One of the most important problems in such networks is the problem of managing orphan nodes. An orphan node is a node which is connected to a sensor node, but it is not connected to any other node in the network. this creates a connectivity hole in the network, thus breaking the communication path from the orphan node to other nodes in the network. To address this problem, a novel multipath routing protocol for WSNs is proposed in this paper. this protocol uses multiple paths to route data through the network. Each path can be used in the case of failure of one of the routing paths. the multipath routing protocol maintains high network connectivity even in the case of node movement or node failure. It also provides better reliability by reducing the possibility of data loss due to link failure. Furthermore, it can reduce the communication cost of the network. the proposed protocol is evaluated using simulation experiments which demonstrate good performance in terms of packet deliver rate, throughput, packet loss ratio and end-to-end delay. © 2023 ieee.

PLN, as the Indonesian electricity company, has implemented large-scale monitoring systems. One of these monitoring systems is Wide Area Monitoring systems (WAMS), which aims to monitor any measurements in the Java-Madura-Bali (Jamali) power system. the WAMS server in the control center and the phasor measurement unit (PMU) in the substation connect to each other. the centralized WAMS server has two functions: phasor data concentrator (PDC) and historian. Initially, the WAMS on the Java-Madura-Bali system could monitor as many as 38 PMUs from various locations, with a CPU utilization of 57%, and the WAMS server could operate normally. When 32 PMUs were added, problems arose because the CPU utilization on the WAMS server reached 100%. this happens because one server does all the processing for the PDC, historian, and vector processor, so all data in WAMS is lost. the test results show that the historian requires more CPU and memory resources when compared to the PDC. thus, the PDC and historian applications need to be separated on different servers. Based on previous research related to distributed real-time servers, this paper provides a short-term solution in the form of separating PDC and historian servers and a long-term solution for the Java-Madura-Bali WAMS configuration. the short-term solution results in the performance status on the historian server being at 8%, so WAMS is in a safe condition. the long-term solution is in the form of a regionalization system where PDC servers are located in each area or region. this solution can be used as a reference for other power systems that will implement WAMS. © 2024 ieee.

Genetic algorithms (GAs) offer a powerful and effective method for solving optimization problems due to their ability to search and explore large spaces of possible solutions. A GA-based energy aware clustering algorithm is proposed in [1] to improve the energy efficiency of wireless sensor networks by optimizing the assignment of nodes to clusters. the proposed algorithm minimizes the energy consumption of the system while guaranteeing a certain Quality of Service (QoS). It works by encoding the clustering process in a chromosome consisting of the node assignments for each target cluster, and then uses attributed-based crossover and mutation operators to generate new chromosome individuals. the algorithm employs an innovative fitness function that not only takes into account the energy costs associated with each target cluster, but also takes into account any QoS constraints imposed by the users. Experiments show that the proposed algorithm is able to significantly reduce the energy consumption of the network with minimal QoS degradation. © 2023 ieee.

this paper uses a variety of research methods to investigate the implementation effect of online physical education teaching in a primary school during the new crown pneumonia epidemic. the results found that the online teaching strategy is insufficient in the specific implementation process, focusing on the local decision algorithm of wireless sensor network distributed sports online detection and the data fusion algorithm of the system fusion center, and the classical Bayesian and Neyman- Pearson's theory is analyzed, aiming to build a variety of communication and docking platforms, improve the professional quality of physical education teachers, cultivate students' habit of self-exercise, realize the orderly development of the daily online teaching system of physical education classes, and provide the basis for the future development of physical education teaching during the epidemic period.
