the dielectric subsystem is an essential part of every HV apparatus. Along with the operation time, some deterioration can happen to the dielectric section. Offline tests can measure how good the dielectric is, but some symptoms cannot be discovered. Partial discharge (PD) is a standard test that can measure the dielectric strength of all equipment. When PD energy is high enough, failure can happen. PD test can determine the location of the source and the best follow-up for repairing this issue - the concept for localizing the PD source inside a transformer using the screening area method. Testing equipment consists of four acoustic sensors installed on every side of the transformer. Acoustic signals from the creep source will travel in dielectric oil and creep to the metal surface of the transformer tank, where they can be detected and measured with acoustic sensors. When one or more sensors detect a more significant PD signal, all sensors move to that side and measure a wide area. this step will repeat, moving the sensor from a comprehensive place to a smaller area depending on where it detects a partial discharge signal until it reaches a specific area where all sensors detect a PD source. this paper gives steps for localizing the PD source and findings. At the Kemang substation, dissolved gas analysis (DGA) and sweep frequency response analysis (SFRA) correlate with PD measurements. Research from the Duval triangle and PD measurement has the same result: low discharge level at phase T (high voltage side), supported by the SFRA test with a small deterioration result. In another case at Cilegon Baru Substation, a major-level PD source was found at the tertiary voltage side of all three banks of transformers and matched with a high level of paper degradation findings. © 2023 ieee.

Optimal configuration of the distributed power in power system from the theoretical optimizations to application improvements is studied in the paper. From the optimization results, it can be seen that considering the reactive power optimization of distributed power source location and constant capacity, that is, the target effect of the DG+ reactive power compensation method is compared with the other two methods, and its network loss is significantly reduced, the voltage level and the static voltage stability margin are significantly reduced that significantly increased. Applying microgrid technology to solve the problem of DG grid connection. While completing the access control strategy, attention should also be paid to the post-access operation and control strategy, that is, two transition states and two operating states: the separation of the microgrid and the main network Transition status and grid-connected transition status of microgrid and main network, grid-connected operation status and island operation status. Considering these features, the proposed model is implementedthrough the system. © 2022 ieee

this paper is concerned with the consensus-based distributed state estimation problem for nonlinear sensor networks. Most existing approaches assume the estimation errors between two connected sensors are independent, and the cross-covariance is neglected in consensus-based distributed unscented Kalman filter (DUKF) frameworks. However, the estimation errors are related considering the joint prior estimates and process noise of the connected nodes. So we propose an improved algorithm to address the problem. At first, the cross-covariances between local estimation error are considered in consensus algorithm. then, the cross-covariances update in the local unscented Kalman filter (UKF) based on the unscented transformation (UT). Finally, a stochastic nonlinear system is provided to illustrate the advantages of the proposed algorithm. © 2022 ieee.

Robotic communities are increasingly important in executing operations in a wide variety of industries. Before designing and deploying such robots it is important to determine and carefully plan the configuration, knowledge composition, and coordination strategies. Multi-agent simulation modeling offers a malleable and powerful way to conduct such planning and elucidate key parameters and their interactions associated with collaboration dynamics. the paper offers motivations, an adaptive learning scheme, and empirical evidence drawn from a few case studies. Among the key findings one is that complex tasks can be conducted effectively and efficiently over billions of robots without relying on a singular source of global knowledge. Another interesting finding is that through collaboration and emergent learning, robots can create communication channels among dominant players and less dominant intermediaries that are critical connectors across network overlays (representing clusters of specialists).

In this paper, we introduce PIMAP, an IoT-based system for continuous, real-time patient monitoring that operates in a fully autonomous fashion, i.e. without the need for human intervention. To our knowledge, PIMAP is the first open system that integrates the basic patient monitoring workflow for continuous and autonomous operation and includes sensed data collection, storage, analysis, and real-time visualization. PIMAP's open design allows it to integrate a variety of sensors (custom and off-the-shelf), analytics, and visualization. Other novel features of PIMAP include its deployment flexibility, i.e., its ability to be deployed in different configurations depending on the specific application needs, setting, and resources, as well as PIMAP's self-profiling and self-tuning capabilities. While PIMAP can be applied to various patient monitoring applications and settings, in this paper we focus on the unsolved problem of preventing pressure injuries.

With the growth of cities and population, urban corporation faces potential challenges. One such challenge is regulating parking spaces. this become a tedious job during weekends and festival season. Improper regulation in parking spaces lead to traffic congestion and affects the fuel economy. Various parking solutions using sensor networks and image processing techniques have been proposed in literatures. For developing smart city environment, single parking space management is not sufficient and image processing based parking system can be applied only to large spaces. this paper proposes distributed parking management system. three parking slots have been created. the IR sensors capture the status of the space and communicate to the cloud. the user can also check the real time parking space availability in mobile application. Prototype has been developed and checked under various condition. the proposed solution provides parking space information on real time and improves fuel efficiency. © 2022 ieee.

A novel, high-density, miniature and compact chip- less RFID sensor tag is presented in this article. the proposed work comprises fourteen nested quatrefoil-shaped slot resonators for ID coding with the additional feature of printability and sensitivity. the geometrical configuration consists of several quatrefoil slots of various sizes distributed in a concentric *** unique feature of the presented tag is exhibiting a humidity sensing feature with the deployment of silver nano-ink particle as a radiator by keeping the high code density of 21.8 bits/cm2 in comparison with existing reported works. A bit coding sequence is observed in the frequency spectra from 5 GHz-24 GHz while maintaining a compact size of 8 mm× 8 mm. Further, the performance of the proposed tag is evaluated for numerous substrates, including Rogers RT/Duroid/5880, Taconic (TLX-8), F4BM and Kapton HN, allowing it to be employed in a variety of environments. Additionally, the realized tag structure possesses angular stability at various polarization angles up to 900. this particular tag is deemed to be a suitable choice for future product identification and Internet of things (IoT) systems. © 2023 ieee.

Improving network performances to better support Cooperative Intelligent Transport systems (C-ITS) services has been the subject of renewed efforts by academia and industry. To this end, the availability of multiple in-vehicle radio access technologies (RATs) has been exploited. In this paper, we propose a distributed and Context Aware Radio access Technology selection (DICART) framework for vehicular networks, formulated as Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) problem. A validation methodology is then conducted based on OMNET++ full-stack network simulator to prove the effectiveness of DI CART. Results show the benefits of our proposal under low and high density network configurations, in enhancing network performance perceived by end-users while considering the needs and constraints of used services.

the operation of Internet of things (IoT) networks and Wireless sensor Networks (WSN) is often disrupted by a number of problems, such as path disconnections, network segmentations, node faults, security attacks, etc. A method that gains momentum in resolving some of those issues is the use of mobile nodes or nodes deployed by mobile robots. the use of mobile elements essentially increases the resources and the capacity of the network. In this work, we propose a scheme that utilizes mobile nodes for the creation of alternative paths from source to sink by also accounting the energy levels of the nodes as a contributing factor regarding the creation of alternative paths. We offer both a high level description of the concept and also a detailed algorithmic solution. the evaluation of the solution was performed in a case study of resolving congestion in the network. Results have shown that the proposed algorithm can significantly contribute to the alleviation of the problem of congestion in IoT and WSNs and can easily be used for other types of network problems.

Due to the low capacity of distributed photovoltaic power generation, the adjustable power capacity is limited by regulating with traditional regulation methods, which has insufficient support for power grid operation and scheduling. this paper puts forward the coordinated response controlling and regulating technology of active and reactive power in full-capacity range of distributed photovoltaic. As the methods this paper announces, the regulation range of distributed photovoltaic active power should be extended before the power grid frequency exceeds the limit so that when that happens, there would be capacity to regulate, and when the voltage exceeds the upper limit, units would absorb the maximum reactive power and voltage exceeds the lower limit units would emit the maximum reactive power. And if the power gird frequency and voltage exceed the limits simultaneously, active and reactive power Respond harmoniously. In addition, two different limit values are respectively set at the upper/lower limit of the regulation range dead band in order to prevent the problems of active/reactive power and frequency/voltage oscillation caused by short-term frequent load adjustment. All those methods can Improve the support and safety for power grid operation. © 2023 ieee.
