the promotion of high-power shore power facilities has had an impact on the grid. However, relying on the advantages of large battery capacity and regular running trajectory, a large number of electric ships can achieve efficient ship-grid-interaction. Efficient renewable energy consumption can also be achieved while avoiding heavy/overload problems. Relying on new shore power facilities and energy routers, a microgrid including distributed PV is constructed. Combined with the mutual aid of shore power facilities and flexible charging regulation, various ships are innovatively aggregated as distributed energy storage. the aggregated electric ship becomes a large-scale energy storage system to consume renewable energy according to the six proposed scenarios. In a typical case, this strategy solved the problem of overloaded lines, improved the local PV consumption rate by about 30%, and reduced carbon emissions by 0.9 tons per day. Also, it is estimated that 13.2 million yuan saved in grid infrastructure investment.

the measurement of the pavement roughness and the detection of road defects are two important tasks in highway engineering. In view of the high cost of pavement data collection, this research proposes a method to calculate the pavement roughness by using the economical RGB-D sensor on the mobile terminal through three-dimensional reconstruction. We propose a joint filtering algorithm based on weight judgment for the depth image restoration and a direct method for the pose estimation based on optimizing normalization coefficients of the image blocks. We calculate the pavement roughness through the three-dimensional pavement model generated by point cloud registration. Results show that the method proposed in this paper can accurately calculate the pavement roughness of different roads, and the accuracy is above 90%. © 2022 ieee.

With the rapid development of the network, the proportion of encrypted traffic in the network is increasing, which brings great challenges to traffic classification. the traditional encrypted traffic classification algorithm extracts the port number of the traffic or the load information of the traffic packet for feature matching, which has no effect in the current encrypted traffic. the encrypted traffic classification algorithm based on machine learning especially relies on the features extracted by professionals for encrypted traffic, which is inefficient and has low accuracy. And, the accuracy and overall performance of existing deep learning methods also need to be improved. therefore, in order to improve the accuracy of encrypted traffic classification, this paper proposes an encrypted traffic classification method based on deep learning, which tries to combine the core modules of CNN and Swin Transformer with the encrypted traffic classification model to realize the identification of the application type of encrypted traffic. Among them, the CNN module is able to capture the local spatial information characteristics of encrypted traffic data. the multi-head attention mechanism of Swin Transformer can capture global information about the association between attributes of the data. the model is tested on the public ISCX VPN-nonVPN encryption dataset to evaluate the performance of the proposed model. Experimental results show that the accuracy of our proposed model reaches 96.7%. Compared with the other best-performing deep learning models, the proposed model improves the accuracy by 3.1% and the F1 value by 2.7%. © 2023 ieee.

the nervous and sensory systems are the basis for the human body and the robot to perceive the external environment and play an important role in the robot's interaction with the human world. Here, a Ramp-like triboelectric nanogenerator sensor (RL-TS) based on a vertical contact-separation mode of operation was developed to simulate the perceptual capabilities of the human nervous system. the RL-TS has a ramp-like structure and is pixel-dotted across the device. therefore, the RL-TS shows excellent reliability in detecting the size and location of external stimuli. Attributed to the unique structure and working principle of the RL-TS, the RL-TS can be distributed pixel-wise in the robot's palm, and then the current force state of the entire palm can be analyzed. RL-TS is promising for robot sensing with the advantages of low cost, easy availability of materials, high flexibility, simple structure, easy installation, and self-powered.

the need for computational units has been increasing tremendously in the contemporary age of huge information synthesis and larger production demands from the consumer host computer. Once microgrids include multiple computational units' processors, we will ultimately need cognitive management and load balancing as different requirements for improving the speed of these kind of computers. Actually, in the implementation, the reliability featured system also embedded so that the entire architecture becomes robust and there is no transfer of load is happening to the non-reliable system. the identification of reliable and non-reliable nodes also performed with an efficient Magic Constant Value and it has been evaluated that the results shows that there is an increase in the True Reliable Rate (TRR) together the rice in the aggregate sites and false reliable rate (FRR) decreases with the increase in the number of sites in the distributed system. © 2022 ieee.

this study aims to analyze the sensors used in an airbag system for automotive applications using LS-DYNA software. Airbag systems are essential safety features in modern vehicles that are designed to protect passengers from injuries during a collision. To ensure the airbag system's effectiveness in protecting passengers, it is crucial to analyze the sensors' behavior during the impact thoroughly. LS-DYNA is a versatile finite element analysis software that can simulate various physical systems, including sensors used in airbag systems. the study focuses on the analysis of different sensors, including accelerometers, pressure sensors, strain gauges, optical sensors, temperature sensors, and infrared sensors. the finite element analysis is conducted to evaluate the sensors' impact on the airbag system's performance, including the deployment time, speed, and force required for maximum occupant protection. the simulation results provide valuable insights into the behavior of each sensor during an impact and their contribution to the airbag system's effectiveness in protecting the passengers. the study provides insights into the optimization of airbag design by analyzing the sensor placement, deployment timing, and force required for maximum occupant protection. the results of the analysis demonstrate that the sensors used in the airbag system are highly effective in detecting the impact and deploying the airbag in time to protect the passengers from injuries. the findings of this study can help improve the safety of airbag systems and contribute to the overall safety of modern vehicles. © 2023 ieee.

Wireless sensor networking is a key enabler of Industrial IoT. IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) has standardized a protocol suite called 6TiSCH (IPv6 over the TSCH mode of ieee802.15.4e). 6TiSCH builds an IPv6 multi-hop wireless network with the ieee802.15.4 radio, which achieves low energy consumption and high reliability. Although network formation time is one of key performance indicators of wireless sensor networks, it has not been studied well with 6TiSCH standard protocols such as MSF (6TiSCH Minimal Scheduling Function) and CoJP (Constrained Join Protocol). In this paper, we propose a scheduling function called SF-Fastboot which shortens network formation time of 6TiSCH. We evaluate SF-Fastboot by simulation comparing with MSF, the state-of-the-art scheduling function. the simulation shows SF-Fastboot reduces network formation time by 41 % - 80 %.

the effect of environmental change in WiFi signal is a major obstacle for generalized WiFi-based activity recognition. In this paper, we propose a novel method for adapting a WiFi-based activity classifier, that is trained on a large-scale dataset for an environment, to a new environment with only one labeled sample per activity. To this end, we propose a novel representation extraction algorithm using the supervision of visual data during the training phase. Our proposed feature extraction explicitly learns the corresponding relation between WiFi signal and movement of human body parts. For environment adaptation, we propose a framework that relies on only one labeled sample per activity class in comparison with current state-of-the-art solutions which are not suitable for few-shot adaptation. We collect data from four volunteers from five different environments and show that our proposed solution is able to achieve 28% higher accuracy than state-of-the-art solutions for environmental adaptation.

Recently, the Internet of things (IoT) arose as paradigm to evolve the daily tasks and to deploy new intelligent services in the environments, turning them into Smart Environments (SEs). A SE is composed of heterogeneous wireless devices, where part of them are mobile. these heterogeneous devices suffer a problem of cross-interference, since most of them use the 2.4 GHz Industrial, Scientific and Medical bands ISM for communication. the cross-interference problem affects directly the Quality of Service (QoS), mainly the low transmission power devices that provide the basis of the services running on the top of the network. Within this context, this paper presents the Scalable Cross-Interference Mitigation (SCIM), an algorithm to mitigate the cross-interference problem in smart environments. the SCIM algorithm considers the mobility of the devices and their communication capacity to perform a scalable wireless channels assignment. the results, from the experiments performed, suggest that the SCIM algorithm minimizes the total interference of the SE, while increases the packet delivery, when compared to existing approaches.

Modern distributed systems are equipped with plenty of non-linear loads viz. Computers, Electronic Loads, SMPS and many more Power Electronics based loads. these loads are injecting both voltage and current harmonics into the utility grid and distribution systems. the presence of harmonics is very damaging to all equipment which has been connected to the point of common coupling (PCC). this article focuses engrossed on the distribution system, incorporated of feeders with Distribution GTO thyristor controlled Series Capacitor (D-GCSC) fed R and RL loads. this article entrust the simulation results with FFT analysis focused on thD of current and voltage waveforms, in two stages, one is with D-GCSC feeding resistive load and second is RL load. the distribution systems have been simulated without and with DSTATCOM for both the stages of D-GCSC fed loads and presented the results. the DSTATCOM is designed and closed loop control circuit have been developed and simulated the same which is quite effective in mitigating the Voltage as well as Current harmonics in distributed systems comprising of nonlinear Loads. © 2022 ieee.
