this research evaluates and indicates ways renewable energy sources may be utilized in an off-grid location to generate power. 150 families in the region of off-grid were surveyed as part of a context-oriented study. As part of a hybrid power system, the program HOMER provides an innovation evaluation of the hybrid power system. the optimal mix of four 1kW solar-PV modules and two 10kW biogas generators is shown in renewable percentage portion, environ-mental circumstances and energy cost (COE). there is a COE of BDT21.73, an NPC of BDT10266149.51, and a capital cost of BDT3,813,790.13 associated with this arrangement. Compared to the grid-based system and the independent diesel system, this system has a renewable portion of 76.7 percent. If you can live without using kerosene oil or solar home systems (SHSs), this system provides an affordable option. © 2022 ieee.

In this paper, we present an online adaptive planning strategy for a team of robots with heterogeneous sensors to sample from a latent spatial field using a learned model for decision making. Current robotic sampling methods seek to gather information about an observable spatial field. However, many applications, such as environmental monitoring and precision agriculture, involve phenomena that are not directly observable or are costly to measure, called latent phenomena. In our approach, we seek to reason about the latent phenomenon in real-time by effectively sampling the observable spatial fields using a team of robots with heterogeneous sensors, where each robot has a distinct sensor to measure a different observable field. the information gain is estimated using a learned model that maps from the observable spatial fields to the latent phenomenon. this model captures aleatoric uncertainty in the relationship to allow for information theoretic measures. Additionally, we explicitly consider the correlations among the observable spatial fields, capturing the relationship between sensor types whose observations are not independent. We show it is possible to learn these correlations, and investigate the impact of the learned correlation models on the performance of our sampling approach. through our qualitative and quantitative results, we illustrate that empirically learned correlations improve the overall sampling efficiency of the team. We simulate our approach using a data set of sensor measurements collected on Lac Hertel, in Quebec, which we make publicly available.

With the continuous development of blockchain technology, people's performance requirements for blockchain systems are also constantly improving. For distributed chain networks, the increase in the number of nodes and network size will have a negative impact on system performance. However, traditional solutions generally improve the performance of the blockchain system by increasing the number of nodes or through expansion. However, these two methods have certain limitations. On the one hand, because the current chain network mainly uses public chain technology, as the number of users increases, the system throughput is difficult to meet the actual application requirements;on the other hand, most of the existing chain network expansion plans are upgraded and expanded based on the main network, and its security is difficult to guarantee. In this context, a distributed blockchain expansion scheme based on Xinghuo chain network is proPOSed, and its security analysis and performance testing are carried out, in order to provide important technical references for technicians in related industries. © 2023 ieee.

this paper accommodates Nash equilibrium seeking problems under distributed networks for first-order players who are influenced by un-modeled dynamics and disturbances. Low-pass filters are utilized to construct an unknown dynamics estimator, based on which the distributed seeking strategies are established. By utilizing Lyapunov stability analysis, the analytical investigation contained in the paper demonstrates that the players' actions will be arbitrarily close to the Nash equilibrium eventually by utilizing the reported strategies. the analytical studies are numerically validated by utilizing five KUKA YouBot vehicles with four omnidirectional Mecanum wheels available in V-REP.

Numerous researchers have suggested numerous solutions based on routing and energy to overcome the prevalence of WSN faults in the current literature. Clustering is the most commonly used energy-efficient and fault-tolerant management technique in WSNs, grouping sensors to manage them and perform distributed activities such as resource management. Although clustering methods are most commonly used to reduce energy consumption, they can also achieve various quality-driven goals, such as network fault tolerance capability. As a result of WSN's unpredictable nature, developing fault tolerance mechanisms is essential. Redundancy and diversity methods are commonly used in networks to increase fault tolerance. As a network management challenge, clustering methods should tolerate malfunctioning sensors while maintaining the network's coverage and stability. sensors are prone to failure due to their operation in hostile environments with limited battery power. the state of the deployed sensor or cluster head (CH) can be active, redundant, or dead/faulty for the same target region of interest (R). the network's overall lifetime and fault tolerance capability can also be extended by using these backup sensors. By putting redundant sensors into sleep mode, can extend the network lifetime without compromising the quality of service. sensor networks are generally designed to endure far longer than individual sensors. It is commonly performed by putting sensors to sleep. We propose a robust distributed clustered fault tolerance scheduling (RDCFT) approach that efficiently checks the status of the deployed sensor periodically (based on a sweep-line redundancy check algorithm) in WSNs. Simulation results are based on analytical and experimental studies to validate the effectiveness and usefulness of the proposed work. © 2023, the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

An optimally designed GPS receiver can typically achieve 3-5 meters accuracy. this accuracy is insufficient for autonomous navigation where the margin of error must be low. Some existing sensor fusion approaches (IMU and GPS fusion using EKF) can achieve 2-3 meters (average error of 2.66 meters) accuracy, but the existing systems cannot function if the GPS receiver is not functional. Other modern techniques like Differential GPS are expensive to implement. Hence an accurate, cost-effective, and available alternative is required. As an alternative to Conventional GPS which typically has an accuracy of 3-5m which is not sufficient for autonomous navigation, a system that consists of data from LiDAR, IMU, and GPS has been implemented using sensor fusion with the help of error state extended Kalman filter. the implemented system was put to test using data synthesized from Carla Simulator. the proposed system was shown to have improved accuracy by reducing the position error by nearly 95%. © 2022 ieee.

the resources particularly liveliness, in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) is fairly limited. As sensor nodes are usually a large amount intense, information tested by sensor nodes contains significant idleness;data collection develops an efficient method to eradicate idleness, decrease the amount of broadcasts, and earlier to accumulate liveliness. Now it is used for innovative methods for resource alert, in this technique to gather the information firstly and well-organized mode. Also, the resource responsive is required to each and all node relay configuration;this relay configuration must have to find correct and next neighbours for network. the data collection more efficient, in our proposed method, using a resource RA (Resource Aware) algorithm to put into action in a node relay based information communication on their association. Hence, the divide trail can be detected in a set of connections and further in these paths every part of foundation nodes allocate every resource designed for performing records compilation. In this system, each and all foundation to the used node relay is designed for performing information communication in the network. To improve the information compilation, the effectiveness of the mission or the purpose life form executed leads to reducing the power utilization in the set of connections. the originality of the proposed work is compared to existing methods in order to improve the scheduling effectiveness, statistics compilation competence and minimized bandwidth utilization for a large set of connections. © 2022 ieee.

the Internet of things (IoT) is a suite of connected devices that collect and share information. On the other side, machine learning (ML) facilitates learning. the combination of IoT and ML can open new opportunities for developing innovative and essential applications to support different complex and large applications. that offers monitoring and automation involved in agricultural activities. In this paper, the recent contributions based on IoT and ML in the agriculture sector is explored. In this context, a review of existing work has been provided. then the area of work, employment type, and involved technologies have been discussed. Based on this investigative study the key objectives have been highlighted for design and development, which will help to empower the farmers by improving crop production yield and resource management. In addition, a proposal based on IoT and ML technology has been also provided for future development. the aim of this proposal is to suggest and develop an automated system, which becomes a helping hand towards the farmers. As opposed to traditional farming where the same crop is grown on the same field year after year, the precise results provided by the machine learning algorithm sense leads to better results and different crops can be grown on the same field because there are different information such as nitrogen level, ph level, and moisture level. © 2022 ieee

this paper considers the distributed finite-time containment control problem for multi-agent systems (MASs) with double-integrator leaders and Euler-Lagrange (EL) followers. A novel distributed fast non-singular terminal sliding mode controller (FNTSMC) is proposed to drive the followers to the convex hull specified by the leaders. Specifically, the proposed controller is based on a newly-defined fast sliding surface that switches between a linear sliding surface when the system states are far from the origin to improve the convergence speed, and a terminal sliding surface when the system states are near the origin to ensure finite-time convergence. Controller parameters are designed based on finite-time convergence theory to ensure the overall system convergence. Lastly, the developed containment control protocol is validated using simulations of a group of two virtual leaders and four two-degree-of-freedom (2-DOF) manipulator followers.

Studies had shown a high statistic of the elderly often forgetting to take their medicine each day due to their forgetfulness. And living alone far from their family, make things harder. As a human of 60 years old and above, they might have difficulties to remember and become alert of the medicine time. thus, developing this ELA Remind which is a medicine box reminder system for Elderly Living Alone (ELA) by implementing the Infrared sensor, Internet of things and Mobile Application. By having this system, elderly will always be reminded on time to take their medicine every day without fail. In fact, it helps to check on their medication intake history to ensure that the elderly was taking the medicine as per schedule. At the same time, it helps reduce the wastage of medication as well. Besides, the most impactful element in this system is that the reminder will also be sent to the elderly's families so that they can monitor their elders remotely through the mobile application. In addition, this system will enable users or families to check back on the history of time taken of the medicine whenever needed. © 2022 ieee.
