In this paper, we have modeled a low-noise amplifier that we have adapted using a multisection filter at the input, a distributed-element bandpass coupled-resonator filter at the output, and a third notch filter for interference rejection. Results show that the amplifier is unconditionally stable over the entire [1.8-3] GHz band. In addition, the gain is satisfactory, and the reflection coefficients S 11 and S 22 at the input and output are low. this modeled amplifier can be integrated into systems dedicated to Wi-Fi, while also offering possibilities for use in other applications such as wireless communications, wireless sensor technologies, telemetry systems, and remote monitoring devices.

the growing penetration of converter-interfaced distributed renewable energy sources (CI-DRES) has posed several challenges into the electric power systems, e.g., the instability caused by the intermittent nature of the primary sources, power quality issues, etc. Several algorithms have been proposed to mitigate the CI-DRES power fluctuations and reduce high active power ramp-rates (RRs) at the point of common coupling (PCC) with the grid using energy storage systems (ESS). However, these algorithms present some drawbacks. In this article, a new ramp-rate limitation (RRL) control method is proposed to address existing gaps in the technical literature. this algorithm is performed considering the connection of a supercapacitor (SC) at the dc-link of a DRES converter. the relationship between the SC voltage and the degree to which the RRL is achieved is established, aiming to reduce the SC voltage fluctuations and increase the SC life time. the RRL control is validated in a real experimental testbed and compared to state-of-the-art approaches. this control is also modeled in Matlab/Simulink in order to perform techno-economic investigations on the influence that several parameters (SC size, SC charging/discharging cycles, cost, etc.) have on the achieved RRL at the DRES PCC.

Due to advancements in technology, electrical appliances are now inter-connected. the goal of Internet -of-things (IoT) is to access every appliance or device through the Internet. this is done in order to operate these gadgets from remote locations. the goal is to improve our day-to-day life. However, this technology raises serious privacy and security issues. As IoT devices are resource-constrained, it is impractical to secure them using traditional approaches. Hence, a light-weight Intrusion detection system (IDS) is required. In this work, we implement a machine learning based Network Intrusion Detection (NID) system in a multi-node fog environment using a Raspberry Pi cluster on a local area network. the proposed Pi-IDS system has been evaluated on ADFA-LD datasets. these datasets comprise of new generation system calls for various attacks on different applications. the proposed fog architecture offers significant advantages in terms of latency, energy consumption and cost over traditional cloud or dedicated personal computer systems. the experiments show that we are able to achieve a Recall of 89%in ADFA-LD with the XGBoost model. the proposed system was able to predict intrusion with an inference time 130 ms in comparison to Cloud with 735 ms, with an estimated running cost of 201 INR/month in comparison to the Cloud cost of 2051 INR/month.

the key issue in studying data collection in wireless sensor networks is how to reduce the amount of data transmitted by the sensor nodes, thus making the overall energy consumption of the network reduced and the survival period extended. In this paper, a data collection method based on compressed sensing for wireless sensor networks with grid structure is proposed. the method is designed with the overall energy consumption and overall transmission delay of the network in mind. First, for the case that sensor nodes are uniformly distributed in the detection area, the overall energy consumption and overall transmission delay of the network after applying compressive sensing are calculated to obtain the optimal number of grids. Secondly, this paper proposes a routing algorithm to make the subtree of sink balanced, and applies it to data collection, which can achieve the effect of reducing the overall transmission delay and balancing the overall energy consumption of the network. Finally, simulation experiments are designed to verify the method. the results of simulation experiments show that the proposed method can reduce the network energy consumption and extend the network lifetime in the applied scenarios. ©2021 ieee

In recent years, liquid metal materials have gradually attracted widespread attention from scholars at home and abroad due to their unique fluidity and high conductivity. Especially in the field of flexible electronics, there are endless researches on preparing liquid metal into various stretchable electronic circuits, sensors, and intelligent systems. Besides, researchers have also developed a variety of liquid metal functional materials and various liquid metal based flexible circuit preparation methods. In this research, we printed liquid metal on a stretchable substrate to prepare a stretchable sensor, which exhibits good electrical stability and can detect the movement of human body or robot joints. We believe that this kind of liquid metal stretch sensor can have broad application prospects in the fields of smart sensing, wearable electronics, and human-computer interaction. © 2021 ieee.

this paper deals with the provision of reactive power support from distribution grids to the transmission system. To this end, a new distributed control scheme is proposed that coordinates the reactive power output of distributed generation (DG) units to meet a predefined reactive power set-point at the point of interconnection of the distribution grid with the transmission system. the coordination process is implemented in an optimal way minimizing the reactive power of DG units, while also satisfying the technical limits of the distribution grid. Time-series simulations on the ieee 33-bus network are performed to evaluate the performance of the proposed method against existing solutions.

In recent years, the rapid global climate change has resulted in frequent urban flooding disasters. the phenomenon of blocked drain covers in urban areas directly affects the passage of vehicles and pedestrians, causing inconvenience to citizens' travel. In severe cases, it can even submerge vehicles, leading to casualties and posing a serious threat to public safety and property. To address this issue, we propose a smart urban flood warning and management system. the system installs terminal devices on rainwater grates along the roadsides. When the water level on the road reaches a certain depth, pressure sensors are used to acquire the water level information, which is then uploaded to the server. the system provides realtime and accurate feedback on urban flooding conditions, demonstrating broad prospects for the prediction and control of urban flooding disasters.

Porous semiconductors are obtained by the process of anodizing the substrates. Based on porous semiconductors, a wide class of electronic devices is manufactured, in particular, sensors for gases, temperature, and humidity. A uniform porous layer is required for manufacturing of sensors. Semiconductor substrates have internal thermoelastic stresses arising during ingot growth, which, during anodization, lead to uneven etching depth. Particularly significant stresses arise in gallium arsenide substrates. the paper considers an improvement in the process of preparing substrates for porous semiconductors, which makes it possible to reduce internal thermoelastic stresses. A change in the annealing process is proposed, and the parameters of the technological process that reduce the stress level are determined. By mathematical modeling, it was found that the best results are obtained with preheating with a temperature gradient of 100 OC to a final temperature of 1000 °C, maintaining this temperature for 5 hours, and subsequent controlled cooling with a temperature gradient of 120 °C. A reduction in the level of internal thermoelastic stresses from 6,8 x 106 Pa to 4,0 x 106 Pa was achieved. the study of the outer surface of the porous layer by the microscopic method, and the internal structure of the layer by the photoluminescence method showed an increase in the uniformity of the layer. the study shows that the proposed method of substrate preparation can improve the parameters of sensors based on porous semiconductors. © 2022 ieee.

the development of multi-agent technologies and their widespread implementation in distributed computer systems is due to the properties of autonomy, mobility, intelligence and cooperativity, which provide power and flexibility in solving distributed, dynamic, fuzzy problems. At the same time, it is precisely these characteristic properties of multi-agent systems, that require special measures to ensure their operability and reliability of functioning, especially in the case of critical use. the proposed model for verifying the properties of dynamic communication is based on extended Petri nets and automata behavioral check and recognition experiments. Verification of two-tier and multi-tier communications of arbitrary spatial and temporal topology includes behavioral check of the mechanisms of conditions, preparation, transmission, buffering, broadcasting, taking into account probabilistic-temporal, group and concurrent characteristics. the verification model of agent commutation is designed to determine the conditions for analyze, check and recognizing of agent interactions in diagnostic methods for distributed multi-agent systems and allows to reduce the computational complexity of analysis, check and recognition of behavior of multi-agent systems. © 2021 ieee.

Wireless sensor Networks (WSNs) plays a prominent role in numerous operations, such as environmental monitoring, healthcare, and military operations. WSN is a distributed environment which comprises multiple sensor nodes. the major constraint in WSN is energy as node is a tiny structure battery power is limited. Energy conservation very important factor in WSN. this research study presents an integrated approach combining the Engroove Low-Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH) protocol with the Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) algorithm to optimize cluster head (CH) selection and routing. the proposed method seeks to balance energy consumption, extend network lifetime, and enhance scalability. Simulation results show that our approach is more effective than traditional LEACH and other existing protocols.
