Federated learning (FL) is a distributive machine learning (ML) approach that makes use of a centralised server to assist several Internet of things (IoT) devices in cooperatively training an ML model. IoT device local data is safeguarded since it never leaves the device in FL. Since distributed IoT devices in FL often gather their local data on their own, each device's data set may naturally constitute a unique source domain. In this research work, there will be maintaining the security enhancements for smart healthcare using federated learning. there will be securing the data of IoT -based sensors which may lose local data while using the smart systems. Removing this issue will give importance to local data also using the FL method. thus, this research involves considering different research work and gives the research methodology for the security-enhancing process using FL in IoT enhanced smart healthcare.

Precision Time Protocol (PTP) defined by the ieee standard is a precision clock synchronization protocol (ieee1588) for achieving high-precision synchronization in distributed systems by means of network communication and local computing technology. Although PTP system offers sub-microsecond clock synchronization in local area network by software-only implementation, it is difficult to meet the requirement of communication network which requires higher clock synchronization performance. this paper proposes a PTP system aided by Global Positioning System (GPS)/BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS), which attains nanosecond performance. © 2021 ieee.

Communicating UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) are promising in terms of applications, but require to address numerous research issues. In this paper, we study the impact of the quality of Wi-Fi communications on the behavior of remotely controlled UAVs. To this end, we design an experimental platform composed of PX4 Vision UAVs, a Motion Capture system, and a tool to generate mission traffic from the ground station. By defining different scenarios and different traffic configurations, we conduct a set of experiments. this allows us to analyze how the presence of mission traffic impacts the stability of the reception of the control traffic, and how, in turn, it impacts the behavior of the UAVs.

After the distributed power supply connects to the new power system, the power grid scheduling is affected by voltage flash during the grid scheduling, resulting in an increase in operating costs of the power grid. It is proposed that the high -penetration distribution power supply connects the diversified electric energy dual -layer scheduling method of the new power system. After mastering the current adjustment of the load and credible contribution information of the power grid, this paper builds a multi -purpose power system diversified power dual-layer scheduling model based on multi -target optimization. the upper layer scheduling target of this model is to optimize the quality of diversified electricity. the lower layer scheduling goal is to maximize the economic benefits of the new power system. the minimum value method can be solved to achieve the upper and lower target functions. the system schedules the optimal solution to ensure that under the access to high penetration distributed power supply, to ensure the maximization goal of the economic benefits of the power grid, it reasonably dispatches the displacement of the distributed power supply, and realizes the optimization of the diversified power quality of the new power system. the experimental results show that under the scheduling of this method, the voltage offset of the photovoltaic grid system is reduced by 0.60 MV. the operating cost of the new power system is also effectively controlled. Compared with that before the scheduling, this method is available.

Here, the gas sensor’s performance of NO2 gas based on MoS2 nanosheets with controlled 3D edge-enrich growth by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method has been optimized. By controlling deposition process parameters (operating temperature 800 °C for Zone 2 heating, Ar gas flow at 180 sccm for 40 min deposition time), nanostructures transform into 3D edge-enriched nanosheets, which are uniformly distributed throughout the substrates and well interconnected. Surface morphology and crystal structures of the MoS2 nanosheets were confirmed by FESEM and XRD characterization. Raman spectra further confirm the deposition of MoS2 nanostructures with confirmed in-plane and out-of-plane A1g and E12g peaks which indicates the growth planes of MoS2 nanostructures. these MoS2 nanosheet-based sensors exhibit high sensitivity of ~ 37.68% at 75 °C optimum operating temperature for 100 ppm NO2 gas concentration. this sensor demonstrates fast response and recovery time (48 and 142 s). Even at room temperature, nanosensors could detect 100 ppm NO2 gas concentration with 19.7% sensor response. © 2023, the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

College students psychological well-being is an important determinant of their academic success, social behavior, and general well-being. Conventional measurement tools for assessing mental health, including self-assessment questionnaires and clinical psychological tests, tend to be subjective, time-consuming, and inconstant, with the risk of misdiagnosis or delayed detection. Current machine learning and deep learning architectures such as convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and recurrent neural networks (RNNs) methods employed for mental health detection. these, however, may not easily cope with the complex, multimodal psychological indicators and are non-adaptive to behavioral variations across individuals. the proposed model is integrated to process multimodal information, such as speech patterns, facial expressions, and behavioral measures. through high-level feature extraction, sentiment analysis, and predictive modeling, the system has high accuracy in identifying stress, anxiety, and depression levels. the proposed method outperforms standard psychological assessment models with 96% classification accuracy, according to experimental results on real student datasets. this work introduces an intelligent and scalable solution towards early psychological health detection that allows for timely intervention and individualized support for students.

Underwater wireless sensor networks (UWSNs) has increased the growing body of researchers from both academia and commercial enterprises due to their vast resourceful applications in underwater environments. With the advances in science and technology, research on underwater can be directed by the real time mechanism of sensor nodes and autonomous devices at different levels. the criterion for significant explorations defined with relevance to technology oriented. Also, UWSNs differs from terrestrial wireless networks in terms of sensor nodes deployment, communication capabilities, energy consumption and optimal computing techniques. this paper surveyed the recent proposed software defined architecture for UWSNs. In addition, the research paper revealed the summary of software defined architecture in UWSNs together highlights the potential directions and future research exploration in the field of underwater network environments. © 2021 ieee.

Abstract-Insulation performance of epoxy surface in GIS systems is influenced by the applied superimposed voltage of AC and overvoltage. the simultaneous measurement of the partial discharges (PDs) and applied voltage can help to evaluate the condition of GIS equipment more accurately. A novel composite sensor for PD UHF signals and overvoltage measurement is proposed to realize the simultaneous detection. the effective height of the composite sensor is calculated with FDTD model and the preliminary optimization is carried based on it. the effectiveness of the composite sensor is tested on an epoxy surface discharge model under of AC voltage, lightning impulse and superimposed voltage. Experiment results show that the extra PDs are excited by the superimposed LI and the proposed sensor is capable to detect the voltage waveform and PD signals under the superimposed condition.

As Artificial Intelligence (AI) becomes more integrated into public governance, concerns about its transparency and accountability have become increasingly important. the use of AI in decision-making processes raises questions about bias, fairness, and the protection of individual fundamental rights. To ensure that AI is used in a way that upholds democratic values, it is essential to develop systems that are trustworthy, transparent, and accountable. Trusted AI allows citizens to have greater trust in public organizations and their decision-making processes, while it also enables public authorities and policy makers to be more transparent and accountable, providing citizens with greater visibility into how policies are developed. In addition, it encourages the use of AI in a way that promotes fairness and equity, ensuring that decision-making processes are unbiased and discrimination free against certain groups of individuals. this paper investigates how these desirable attributes can be developed in ways that are feasible and effective through the design of a holistic environment that incorporates AI and Big Data management mechanisms while preserving that the AI technology should be shaped around human rights, values, and societal needs. Societal change and evidence-based policies will be achieved through the extension of business and policy making processes with advanced approaches, such as eXplainable AI (XAI) and Situation-Aware Explainability (SAX). To this end, a novel approach is proposed, which will converge techniques and research on multiple domains, including social sciences, Trustworthy AI, Ethical AI, Big Data analytics, IoT, and blockchain into a unified ecosystem. © 2023 ieee.

Middle weak Roman domination is an important graph theory concept that has important applications in defense, network design, optimization, and resource management. A middle weak Roman dominating function assigns to every vertex of a graph weights from the set {0,1,2,3} under certain conditions: zero-weight vertices must be neighbors of at least one positive-weighted vertex; one-weight vertices may have at most one zero-weight neighbor; two-weight vertices may have at most two zero-weight neighbors; and three-weight vertices may have any number of zero-weight neighbors. the total weight of assigned weights determines the weight of the function, and the least possible weight among all valid functions is referred to as the middle weak Roman domination number. this paper explores the calculation of this number across various graph classes, including complete graphs, paths, cycles, wheels, stars, sun graphs, complete binary trees, grids, and lollipop graphs. Python pseudo-code is provided for efficient computation.
