Crop Yield Prediction (CYP) is crucial for optimizing agricultural practices globally. this study conducts an in-depth review of Machine Learning (ML) techniques applied to multivariate datasets for crop yield forecasting. We examine the performance of models including deep learning, ensemble classifiers, and hybrid approaches, emphasizing their ability to integrate diverse data sources and adapt to varying climatic conditions. Despite significant progress, challenges such as sparse data handling and generalization across regions persist. this paper not only identifies these challenges but also proposes advanced solutions for improving prediction accuracy, offering a roadmap for future research in agricultural ML frameworks. © 2024 ieee.

With the development of information technology, the Smart Laboratory is an core research topic of the modern university, which is responsible for the laboratory safety. To this problem, we focus on the human management since many safety accidents are often occurred by improper operations. this paper proposes the concept of security credit, which consists of user characteristic, behavior preference, learning ability, test score, course attendance and accident history. It is an evaluation system to personal security knowledge and skills which can reflect the potential risks of laboratory. thus, the users will be first clustered based on their safety credits. After that, the risk group and the potential group are defined by K-means. the relationship between the learning content and the type of safety accidents is defined. then, the security accidents are predicted according to the situation of the user's learning contents and exam results. Finally, the experiments are carried out based on the datasets supported by Ankai WebSite (SHUAnKai) of Shanghai University, by which the results are demonstrated to the feasibility to the management of Smart Laboratory. © 2016 ieee.

Sensus Ekonomi 2016 (SE2016-Economy Census 2016) which will be held in 2016 is an important and massive activity. Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS-Statistics Indonesia) taking main responsibility needs to arrange strategic and appropriate actions for the success of the event. One of the actions that can be used to support SE2016 implementation is by providing information about progress of SE2016. therefore in this paper, it will be presented a design of architecture of information dashboard system used to monitor SE2016 implementation. the result of this research expected can be used by BPS as reference and baseline to develop advanced information dashboard of SE2016 implementation. © 2016 ieee.

the smart-phones are computing devices used to execute resource intensive applications. Despite considerable progress in the past years, smart-phones still have low computing power with some inbuilt problems such as limited battery, resource deficiency, and limited storage. Mobile Cloud computing (MCC) improves the overall performance of smart phones by providing extra resources of remote cloud server. Application Offloading is a primary technique used in MCC which increases the capabilities of SMDs. the proposed offloading framework divides the application into tasks, thus, offloading them on remote cloud server for execution. the offloading process in cloud computing extends battery duration and conserves energy. However, it is critical to evaluate the cases where offloading ensure advantages in terms of data transfer, computing power needed, costs of using the clouds, a determined Quality of service (QoS). the paper presents a fault-tolerant energy efficient framework for application offloading with minimal energy consiunption and response time.

this paper presents the development of a web-based system customized to serve the need of a community, named Taman Keramat Permai (TKP) in Malaysia. the system is designed to replace a paper-based process that gradually become unmanageable due to the increasing large volume of data. Features of the new system include online recording of forms, database query functions, electronic authorization, update, manage and monitor the progress data and activities included in TKP. We describe the design principles and introduce a functional component diagram for the system. the system is implemented on Windows platform using opensource software such as PHP4, MySQL, and Apache. Performance of the developed system is assessed practically and an efficient, and user friendly operation is demonstrated. © 2011 ieee.

Signal lights (aka. indication lights) in vehicles have an important safety function i.e., they demonstrate deceleration and a change in the direction of the vehicle. Neglecting or forgetting to use these signal lights such as indicators while driving have caused major accidents in the recent times. In this paper, a novel method of vehicle false indicator warning, and penalty-fine system is proposed, where the vehicle owner with a valid registration will be sent a warning/penalty notice/fine for violating the traffic rules through a dedicated application (web and/or mobile app), email and SMS. We have also implemented a method to turn off the false indication automatically and provide automatic indication with certain conditions. the main purpose is to inculcate the practice of using vehicle signal lights wherever necessary to avoid violation of traffic rules and accidents. In this paper, the working of false indicator warning and fine system along with the components required for the same is discussed elaborately and its advantages over public implementation is expressed. © 2019 ieee.
