Application of bio-inspired optimization algorithm based controller will address the load frequency control (LFC) problem of the complex power systems to meet the modern requirements. the performance of these optimized controllers is proved to be superior to classical controllers more researchers are concentrating in this area. the Swarm intelligence (S1) based algorithm is employed to optimize the controller parameters for load frequency control. In this article, a comparative analysis is made among different swarm intelligence algorithms adapted for LFC of the thermal system having two interconnected areas with similar objective functions. It will help to identify the optimization technique that can be implemented for the system considered by the researchers for load frequency control.

the new-town with multi-energy industrial parks (MEIPs) are facing severe carbon emission constraints in China. the energy consumption and carbon emissions of MEIPs are high. Even if the assessment index is reached through carbon trading, the impact of carbon emissions on new-town cannot be ignored. A bi-level combinatorial optimal low-carbon dispatch model is proposed for new-town with MEIPs in this paper. the upper-level model considers the total carbon emission constraints of the new-town, and the total carbon emissions are decomposed into real-time carbon assessment indexes of each park. the lower-level model presents the integrated energy optimal dispatch of MEIPs. this model considers the economic operation and carbon trading costs of MEPs, and achieves the overall carbon requirements of the new-town through the optimization and coordination of upper and lower levels. In this paper, a new combinatorial optimization (SQP-IP) method: the sequential quadratic programming combined with the interior point method is proposed to solve the model. A case study is performed to show the effectiveness of this dispatch.

In this paper the task assignment for multi-target pursuit (MTP) problem with non-equal number of vehicle and target is studied. A mixed-inter programming (MILP) based minimax assignment criterion is formed, and a solution method called the Selection Algorithm of Precedence Rows (SAPR) originated from Operation on Matrix is presented. the simulations with less number and more number of targets being pursued are designed respectively to testify the efficiency of the proposed method.

this paper proposes an economy optimization configuration scheme for the modular multilevel converter based multi-terminal direct current (MMC-MTDC) system with renewable energies. the economy optimization model for the MMC-MTDC system with wind, solar and hydro renewable energies is established, and the second-order cone programming relaxation method is adopted to solve the above model. the economy optimization results of the output of each power outlet end and the line capacity of the MMC-MTDC system are obtained. the case study based on a four-terminal MMC-MTDC system is carried out to validate the effectiveness of the proposed optimization configuration scheme.

the drafting or technical drawing of mechanical parts is a common activity during the phase of detailed design. Traditionally, engineering drawings are created manually by draftspersons with the support of CAD software, which is a time-consuming and error-prone task, requiring significant experience and a high level of technical expertise. To automate and accelerate this task, the present work introduces a new automatic drafting tool named iDrafter which enables the creation of 2D engineering drawings out of the 3D model's boundary representation (B-Rep). the iDrafter algorithm has been developed using a state-of-the-art CAD system Application programming Interface (API) and incorporated into this system. the tool covers not only the dimensioning, but also other aspects of automatic drafting such as the creation of the drawing document, drawing sheet, and the corresponding views. To verify the algorithm, different CAD models have been subjected to testing.

the immense deployment of renewable energy resources (RES) have gained significant interest in distribution networks, which creates great challenges for distribution network planners and operators. One way of mitigating such challenges is to combine the integration of RES with energy storage systems (ESS). However, appropriate combination of both RES and ESS requires new planning methodologies in distribution networks that take into account the special features and characteristics of such new resources i.e. RES and ESS. To that end, this paper presents a new algorithm for optimum planning of RES in conjunction with Battery ESS (BESS) in distribution networks. the objective of the proposed planning algorithm aims to minimize the overall capital and operational costs. the proposed formulation of the planning problem takes into account the implementation of smart inverters control to optimally schedule the active and reactive power outputs of RES and BESS units. Further, several technical constraints are taken into consideration, including maximum reverse power at the substation, maximum number of RES connections, voltage technical limits, and thermal limits of cables and overhead lines. the formulated problem has been solved using a combination between metaheuristic technique and deterministic technique. Several case studies have been carried out to test the effectiveness of the proposed planning methodology.

Due to the broadcasting nature, wireless transmission becomes vulnerable to illegal eavesdropping, making it crucial to ensure the security of data transmission for various IoT applications. this paper investigates UAV-assisted wireless relay secure transmission, considering multiple eavesdroppers with imperfect channel state information (CSI). the goal is to maximize the secure transmission capacity of users through the cooperation of signal UAVs and jamming UAVs. Under imperfect eavesdropper CSI conditions, an adaptive decoding threshold is introduced to restrict the eavesdropping decoding probability below a tolerable level. the secure transmission problem is modeled as a mixed-integer nonlinear programming. An iteration algorithm that combines block coordinate descent and continuous convex approximation is designed to jointly optimize UAV trajectory planning and resource allocation. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.

With the rapid development of the energy Internet, the role of cyber networks in the power system has become more and more important. Considering both the cyber layer and the physical layer, the cyber-physical power systems (CPPS) have been introduced and studied in many researches. On the one hand, the cyber network strengthens the real-time monitoring and control capabilities of the power system. On the other hand, the deep coupling between the cyber layer and the physical layer adds new ways and modes of failure propagation. When suffering extreme weather events, such coupling relationship could lead to cascading failure propagation and have significant impacts on the system safety. this paper studies the cascading failure propagation of the CPPS under extreme weather events. First, the effect of extreme weather events on the initial fault state vector of the system nodes. then, a node state influence matrix is proposed to analyze the cascading failure development process of the system starting from the initial failure state. Moreover, the solution method of the matrix based on optimization model of quadratic programming is given. Finally, an 8-node CPPS is adopted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Extracting keywords from the result of word segmentation with the improved TextRank algorithm. Use the relative position of the words in the article to calculate the influence of position;the position of the coverage of the words and expressions is extended to the statement of the words and the key words as the feature of the text. Hadoop programming using naive Bayesian algorithm for text classification. the experiments show that the improved Textrank has a great improvement in classification performance, and the classification accuracy of naive Bayesian algorithm is 93% when the number of keywords is 40. Compared with the traditional, the accuracy rate increased by about 10%.

the goal of this study is to improve cognitive ability, memory and problem-solving skills of people with social anxiety by using game therapy. Social anxiety can have a huge impact on communication, relationships, and mental health. this study uses game therapy as an alternative therapy to traditional methods. the game uses node-based and C++ programming languages in Unreal Engine to create scenarios that simulate real-world social problems. Participants are asked to make decisions within the game and practice ethical responses. they can then use these responses to make adaptive choices for real-world situations. Results show that people who received game therapy improved problem-solving skills significantly. this suggests that game therapy has the potential to be a successful intervention for people with social anxiety.
