the widespread adoption of smart healthcare technologies raises significant concerns about privacy in the healthcare sector. In fact, patients' privacy is at risk as these technologies become more prevalent, since they allow the sharing of vast amounts of patients' data among different healthcare stakeholders. In response to this challenge, ensuring that service providers respect patients' privacy preferences requires the expression of these preferences and privacy policies in a standardized syntax. this paper proposes a methodology for translating service privacy policies from natural language to a dedicated standardized language, called S4P. the objective isto provide a clear and comprehensible representation of the policies, thereby promoting a well-established understanding of their meaning and allowing appropriate decision-making regarding patient privacy protection. this will help [in] overcoming language barriers, minimizing the risk of privacy violations, and facilitating compliance with various laws and regulations concerning patient privacy protection. the effectiveness of our proposal was validated through experiments against real-world privacy policies of healthcare providers. © 2023 IEEE.

cloud computing (CC) is a contemporary model that offers organizations access to advanced computing services via the Internet, with payment based on usage and on- demand availability. Numerous research studies have established that CC enables Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to leverage modern information technology services at minimal costs, thereby positively impacting their business performance. SMEs play a crucial role in contributing to the economic growth of countries. However, there is a lack of published studies on the status of cloud computing Adoption (CCA) among SMEs in Kuwait. A preliminary study was undertaken to examine the state of CCA among Kuwaiti SMEs and the determining factors in the process of CCA in Kuwait. the study revealed a low level of CCA among Kuwaiti SMEs, as well as a low level of Intention to Adopt cloud computing ( IACC) among those SMEs not currently utilizing any CC services. the determining factors in the CCA process among Kuwaiti SMEs were identified as perceived benefits, security concerns, competitive pressure, trading partner pressure, top management support, social influence, innovativeness, and risktaking. Consequently, the preliminary study recommended that further in-depth studies be conducted to gain a better understanding of the issues affecting the IACC among SMEs in Kuwait.

the extensive adoption of cloud computing platforms in storing and processing data have brought forth a new age of efficiency in the way data is stored, processed and managed, requiring new data structures and algorithms that aim to further improve efficiency in such working environments. the design, analysis, and optimization of data structures and algorithms for use in cloud computing platforms;in particular, the development of such solutions to the constraints and requirements of distributed, scalable, and high-availability systems. cloud computing platforms require suitably efficient data structures and algorithms that scale to manage vast amounts of data while also optimizing for latency, fault-tolerance, and resource utilization. While the traditional data structures and algorithms remain inherently scalable, their efficiency degrades, hampering performance, in a distributed environment. In short, our work presents a study of advanced data structures (e.g., scalable Bloom filter, distributed hash table) and optimized graph structures built to serve in cloudbased applications. this paper also discusses algorithms for data partitioning, load balance, and parallel processing in order to improve the performance and reliability of cloud infrastructures. © 2024 IEEE.

cloud computing has created a new concept to deal with software services and hardware infrastructure. Some benefits are immediate;for instance, it allows students to share their information easily and to discover new experiences in the education system. However, despite the comprehensive literature, there are still limited studies related to the applied factors that influence the adoption of cloud technology at pre-tertiary education institutions. this paper attempts to enhance the understanding of related factors affecting the adoption of cloud computing in the educational context of developing nations. Also, an interpretive paradigm with a quantitative research method to investigate the main enablers of and barriers to cloud computing adoption at Malaysian Institutions. Six factors are studied in this study namely, Awareness, Network Connectivity, Scalability, Data Security, Staff Training and Budget. A questionnaire survey was conducted with a select group of educators from pretertiary educational private and public institutions in Malaysia. the educators gauge their opinions on the level of significance of each factor affecting cloud computing in their institution using a 5-point scale. Out of 100 questionnaire sets distributed using Google Forms, 70 valid responses were extracted as the collected data. this data was analyzed descriptively. the results of the analysis found that most of the public schools do not have reliable and stable internet connections and private school internet connections are somewhat reliable which affects most schools that do not adopt cloud computing as well. Limited finance resources and concerns about data privacy and infrastructure stability are other considerable factors that have made the institution not adopt cloud computing till now. the impact of this research will be felt simultaneously to guide institutions in developing strategies and policies that promote successful cloud computing adoption.

Fog computing combines traditional cloud services with the proximity of users and devices to enhance service efficiency and speed up processes, allowing for mobility and several users to perform heterogeneous computing tasks. this can also be referred to as the fog network. this paper presents a study on cloud computing with a specific focus on its current advances. Mobile edge computing and cloud computing can be regarded as preferred examples of the technologies put under this category. Most of the approaches are design approaches aimed improvement of the service quality among the devices and the cloud environment. this theory has been constructed based on the active development of threat model for fog computing focusing on its services, data operations, and management. Classification criteria are developed from the main and the most importane aspects of fog computing. Benefits and disadvantages are studied. Such as the safety, secrecy, applicability and communication with the end users as in thanks to the research and review. © 2024 IEEE.

New opportunities in cloud computing have brought many new risks that require effective protection of dynamic distributed environments. Introducing a new formative technology, generative AI, to cloud security has far-reaching benefits for automating threat detection, real-time incident addressing, and vulnerability management. this paper focuses on extending generative AI with cloud security tools like AWS GuardDuty and Google cloud Security Command Center;the contemplation of accuracy enhancement and response efficiency highlights its aim. Concerning actual applications such as SOAR systems, the study demonstrates how media industry giants, such as Netflix and JPMorgan Chase, have used AI to minimize risk factors while increasing operational efficiency. the paper also discusses the significant increase in response time, enhanced detection accuracy, and the shift to proactive security strategies brought by generative AI. Drawing attention to AI systems' opportunities, the study examines the subsequent issues connected with AI applications, including over-dependence on AI tools, adversarial risk to models, and the complex nature of decisionmaking in the context of AI systems. the present study also highlights the importance of generative AI in strengthening the defense of the cloud environment, but, at the same time, it recognizes the significance of preventive efforts and planned action plans to manage these technologies efficiently. © 2025 IEEE.

In the modern contemporary world, technological advancements have revolutionized the transportation sector. the study begins with an in-depth analysis of the current traffic situation in Mauritius, and then examines existing carpooling systems in other countries. the aim of this research is to provide a more efficient and sustainable transportation solution that can ease traffic congestion in Mauritius. By utilizing state-of-the-art technology, the proposed carpooling system has the potential to significantly reduce the number of cars on the road, leading to reduced traffic congestion, decreased carbon emissions, and improved air quality. the study includes a thorough analysis of the current traffic situation in Mauritius, as well as an examination of existing carpooling systems in other countries. Additionally, the system will incorporate features such as registration, booking, SOS, user ratings, and Google Maps to ensure a positive user experience. On the implementation level of a carpooling system Flutter, cloud Firebase, and Google cloud Platform will be used. the proposed carpooling system will utilize real-time data to match drivers with passengers based on their location, destination, date and time. Overall, this dissertation provides a comprehensive framework for the development and implementation of a successful carpooling system in Mauritius. © 2024 IEEE.

Time is critical in making quick decisions in this era of universal, real-time data creation. Traditional cloud-centric architectures have high latencies and network congestion, which do not allow one to provide quick responses. the paper presents an innovative application of the fog computing paradigm in real-time data processing, with a special focus on scenarios where timely reactions are necessary. In the proposed approach, data processing happens at the fog layer close to the source, thereby reducing latency and network usage. this will show, once again, that fog computing is a bridge for real-time data handling, hence providing fast decision-making, optimization of resources, and creating environmentally friendly and more adaptive services. © 2024 IEEE.
