Dysgraphia, a neurological condition affecting writing abilities, poses challenges for Special Education teachers in the Philippines due to time constraints. To address this, an OCR system specialized for impaired handwriting is proposed, automating dysgraphic analysis. Using a Pi Camera, LCD, and Raspberry Pi, the system aims to aid SPED teachers and parents. the training dataset comprises 10,000 characters from SPED centers nationwide. Testing includes Mild, Moderate, and Severe Dysgraphia categories with 5 images each, compared to Google Cloud vision and Microsoft Azure computervision. the system achieved 67.79% accuracy for individual letters and 52.36% for words.
