the advancement of 5G and mobile internet technologies has propelled the development of emerging businesses and applications, demanding higher requirements for network bandwidth and computational resources. To address this challenge, the computing power network (CPN) has emerged. the CPN integrates computing and networking in depth, achieving collaborative allocation of distributed computing resources, enhancing the efficient utilization of computing resources, and improving user experiences in network services. However, in the development of fields such as Extended Reality (XR), Smart Healthcare, Connected Vehicles, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), there is a multidimensional, complex, and rapidly growing demand for computing resources. therefore, it is crucial to establish a trading mechanism that integrates multiple computing resources in CPN. In this paper, a computing power trading scheme based on blockchain and combinatorial double auction is proposed. Firstly, a computing power trading system based on blockchain was designed, leveraging the decentralized and highly secure characteristics of blockchain technology to enhance the security of computing power transactions. Furthermore, a multi-type computing power trading mechanism (MCPT) based on blockchain and combinatorial double auction was introduced. the use of combinatorial double auctions as an incentive mechanism enables the trading of multiple computing power resources and results in high social welfare. Moreover, a discrete rime optimization algorithm (DRIME) is designed in the proposed mechanism (MCPT) to better solve the computing trading problem. through simulation experiments, the effectiveness of the approach is validated. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

the existing Internet infrastructure cannot meet the demands of the exponential growth in data users need to access. therefore, Fog computing (FC), Internet of things (IoT), and 5G are upgrading conventional data transfer with innovative solutions and intelligently processing data to improve performance. Fog computing is considered a central component in the growth of the new 5G networks and the Internet of things. these advanced technologies allow the Internet to provide enhanced services through sensors, continually monitoring a wide range of information. the paper reviews the most recent studies that implemented fog computing in a 5G environment by defining the essential services and network-oriented functionality. Moreover, the surveyed study is also discussed and assessed through sum-up tables with general remarks about the followed trends. the mentioned studies presented legitimate solutions for issues in the Vehicular Network and improved the current network architecture. © 2022 IEEE.

In the era of big data, with the rapid development of Internet finance and the increasing pressure on banks to compete, banks have turned their goal to retaining old customers, so it is essential to predict customer churn. Around this problem, this paper designs a Borderline-SMOTE-random forest prediction model for unbalanced data such as bank customers. Combined with the oversampling algorithm, it can better solve the unbalanced data and the strong anti-noise ability of random forest. OOB error rate, AUC, Precision, Recall, and F-mean are used as the evaluation indicators of the model, and KNN, decision tree and Naive Bayes are used as comparisons. the experimental results show that the Borderline-SMOTE-random forest prediction model has the best ability to solve the problem of bank customer churn prediction among the models, and its performance is improved by about 4% compared with other models. © 2022 IEEE.

A program or collection of instructions designed to exploit the flaws in other applications is known as an exploit. Exploit development is identifying vulnerabilities in apps and software and determining how to gain control of a system;thus, exploit development is critical for the security of digital assets and sensitive data stored on computer systems. Many flaws require an attacker to launch a series of shady actions to set up an exploit. Most of the vulnerabilities occur due to faults in software or system architecture. Attackers write code to exploit these holes to infect the machine with various types of malware which is often built on the collection of exploits and can easily be hidden in plain view of different websites. the hidden code on a website may instantly identify the operating system and programs that are running on a user's machine, as well as the user's browser type, and check for any vulnerabilities. In today's world, the internet is the major cause of spreading many malware, viruses, and embedded scripts. Hence our problem statement will revolve around the detection of malicious and benign URLs and thus testing them to get the type of vulnerability. © 2022 IEEE.

Due to their severity and prevalence, the prediction of chronic diseases (cds) has become an important area of research, particularly with advances in deep learning. In this paper, we propose a new automated technique for detecting these diseases. A deep network architecture using a parallel unidimensional convolutional neural network (1D-PCNN) is employed to extract deep features. Subsequently, the Support Vector Machine (SVM) technique is applied for CD classification. the uniqueness of our framework lies in the design of the 1D-PCNN, which can learn the deep features of the input layer through parallel convolutional layers. As a result, the deep features of each parallel branch are simultaneously extracted before being combined in the fusion layer. Furthermore, in order to improve the efficiency of the proposed model, the Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique (SMOTE) is used. this strategy manages class imbalance in CD databases. the suggested model is analysed against standard 1D-CNN, 1D-CNN model combined with conventional machine learning methods and other existing state-of-the-art models. the effectiveness of the suggested method was tested using two known databases the Pima Indian Diabetes database (PIDD) and the Cleveland Heart Disease database (CHDD). Results, from these databases indicate that the proposed approach yielded an accuracy rate of 83% and 88% an F score of 73% and 90% and an AUC of 80% and 87% correspondingly. Finally, after applying the SMOTE method, accuracy was improved to 86% and 92%, Fscore to 86% and 93%, and AUC to 86% and 92%, respectively, and outperforms other methods.

In Named-data Mobile Ad Hoc Network (NDMANET), the routing node uses the flooding forwarding strategy by default. When multiple producers receive the same data request, they will return multiple identical data packets, but the consumer only needs to receive one of them to meet the demand, and the rest of the data packets are redundant. the transmission of many redundant data packets on the network will significantly occupy network bandwidth resources. To solve this problem, this paper designs a data packet forwarding strategy suitable for NDMANET named Reduce Redundant data Packets (RRDP) strategy, which aims to make redundant packets stop forwarding at the intermediate node. this strategy can reduce the transmission of redundant packets and minimize network traffic as much as possible on the premise of keeping the successful rate of consumer requests basically unchanged. this strategy is relatively simple and has a low implementation cost, so it is more suitable for NDMANET with small node storage space and limited computing capacity. © 2022 IEEE.

Social Media forensics a branch of forensics involves in collecting the evidences for the cyber crime. Investigating social media is a complex process which involves the privacy issues for accessing the users, suspects and victims information on social media. Manual processing of social media data is not feasible as it contains large volumes of data. An automated process is needed to incident specification, evidence extraction and for provenance. the need for handling heterogeneity of data as users have accounts with multiple social websites is also explained. this study briefs the existing models and the challenges faced in analyzing with those models. the research goals in this field are also addressed. A pool of tools which can contribute in guarding the solution for cyber crime is also presented. © 2022 IEEE.

ICU medical prediction has an important impact on the treatment of severe patients. the existing medical prediction methods are less adaptable to the patient's time series medical data. In order to better monitor and utilize the real-time data fluctuation, this paper proposes a refused ICU medical prediction model based on time series state monitoring. Firstly, fast dynamic time warping is introduced to solve the problem of sample imbalance in medical data. Secondly, the time series state monitoring mechanism is used to construct the medical prediction model. Finally, refused classification model is established to improve the analysis effect. Several cross-comparison experiments are designed, and the results show that the prediction accuracy is improved compared with the existing models. © 2022 IEEE.

Land use/ land cover classification using satellite imagery is gaining abundant attention of researchers for extracting information from geospatial data. Various techniques are popular for the information extraction process from images to monitor a large geographical area and a comparison between these classifiers is required to select the appropriate one for the given application. the current study compares the four different classifiers namely Maximum Likelihood, Minimum Distance, Mahalanobis Distance, and Parallelepiped taking Almora town as the test area, which is located at Almora district of Uttarakhand province. Landsat imagery from two different years, i.e. 1999 and 2020, obtained from USGS Earth Explorer portal of geospatial datasets, has been used for the case study. First, the 2020 image of the study area has been classified using aforementioned four classifiers, and the accuracy of the four classifiers evaluated. Based on the accuracy level, the 1999 and 2020 images further classified with the classifier having highest accuracy rate to detect the changes in the given two decades. © 2022 IEEE.

the concept of data dissemination has become an inherent problem with Vehicular Ad hoc NETwork (VANET), especially when traffic jams occur. the main idea of data dissem-ination is how to handle a huge amount of traffic data collected in the vicinity. therefore, different strategies have been proposed by the research community in this field to solve this problem, including routing protocols, virtual machines, data aggregation, clustering and so on. In this paper, a virtual cluster strategy is proposed to select candidate vehicles acting as getaways in the network. In particular, the formation of the virtual clusters is based on dominant set algorithm to create virtual network for data dissemination. In the evaluation phase, the simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed clustering strategy to significantly improve network performances. © 2022 IEEE.
