In this paper, we propose a fragile watermark scheme for detecting the tampering or hostile attack of speech signal. Watermark block is generated by Gaussian Random operation on a null matrix, then the watermark is embedded into the original signal which is processed by DCT(discrete cosine transform). During the signal detection processing, matrix to vector method is adopted, in virtue of the differential matrix row and column, a threshold value can be calculated. With the comparison between the watermarked signal and threshold, the tampering location can be detected and the watermark scheme can achieve valid identification on tampering, with the accuracy rate reached up to 95%.

A hardwired algorithm for computing the variable precision multiplication is presented in this paper. the computation method is based on the use of a parallel multiplier of size m to compute the multiplication of two numbers of nxm bits. these numbers are represented in the variable precision floating point format, but in this paper only the mantissas are considered; the exponents are easily obtained by adding the exponents of the two operands to be multiplied. In this computing method of multiplication, the partial products are added as soon as they are computed, resulting in the use of the lowest memory for the storage of intermediate results, (i.e. the size of the result is of mx2n bits). the Xilinx FPGA circuits, of Virtex-II families and greater, have interesting resources such as embedded multipliers 18x18 bits, memory blocks (SelectRam) and carry chain paths for the acceleration of the carry propagation and DCM blocks (Digital Clock Manager) to generate and control clocks. these resources have been advantageously used, in the implementation, to reduce the computation delay compared to the solution that uses only FPGA CLBs (Logic Blocks). Our architecture has been tailored to use these efficient resources and the resulting architecture is dedicated to compute the multiplication of operands of sizes ranging from 1x64 bits to 64 x 64 bits with a period of n x 33 ns.

A new method for multilayered image representation and its application in image compression are presented. the basic idea is to separate an image into two different layers having fundamentally different structures. Nonlinear diffusion is used to smooth out image texture in order to obtain a large scale piecewise smooth image representation called "cartoon". the residual part is considered as "pure texture". Since the best approximations of these two structurally different image layers can be realised by different transforms, higher compression ratios are achieved using suitably chosen transforms prior to individual encoding of each layer. Transform basis tailored to each layer are derived from a comprehensive empirical study. Several experiments were conducted to evaluate the performance of the proposed approach. the results show that in most cases the proposed technique achieves objectively slightly better and subjectively superior results than well-established image compression algorithms.

Mobile phones' increasing ubiquity has created many opportunities for personal context sensing. Personal activity is an important part of a user's context, and automatically recognizing it is vital for health and fitness monitoring applications. Recording a stream of activity data enables monitoring patients with chronic conditions affecting ambulation and motion, as well as those undergoing rehabilitation treatments. Modern mobile phones are powerful enough to perform activity classification in real time, but they typically use a static classifier that is trained in advance or require the user to manually add training data after the application is on his/her device. this paper investigates ways of automatically augmenting activity classifiers after they are deployed in an application. It compares active learning and three different semi-supervised learning methods, self-learning, En-Co-Training, and democratic co-learning, to determine which show promise for this purpose. the results show that active learning, En-Co-Training, and democratic co-learning perform well when the initial classifier's accuracy is low (75-80%). When the initial accuracy is already high (90%), these methods are no longer effective, but they do not hurt the accuracy either. Overall, active learning gave the highest improvement, but democratic co-learning was almost as good and does not require user interaction. thus, democratic co-learning would be the best choice for most applications, since it would significantly increase the accuracy for initial classifiers that performed poorly.

As the next generation network architecture IMS has been widely *** good scalability, extensibility and manageability are appreciated for multimedia ***,some type of resource consuming services,such as video on demand and live video service often requires a lot of resources like bandwidth and streaming media *** only relying on media server is difficult to meet large scale business *** this paper, we propose a BGP-based(Border Gateway Protocol)topology-aware overlay network for IMS. OSF(Overlay Service Function)entity is presented in IMS core network which realize the application layer traffic ***-based network distance measurement algorithm is also simulated in *** design complies with requirements of the IMS *** can reduce the IMS inter-domain communication effectively,improve the system resource utilization and provide a new approach for IMS multimedia services.

Computer vision is one out of many areas that want to understand the process of human functionality and copy that process with intention to complement human life with intelligent machines. For better human-computer interaction it is necessary for the machine to see people. this can be achieved by employing face detection algorithms, like the one used in the installation "15 seconds of fame" Franc Solina et al., (2002). Mentioned installation unites the areas of modern art and technology. Its algorithm is based on skin colour detection. One of the problems this and similar algorithms have to deal with is sensitivity to the illumination conditions under which the input image is captured. Hence illumination sensitivity influences face detection results. One of the aspects from which we can observe illumination influence is the choosing of the proper colour space. Since some colour spaces are designed to eliminate the influence of illumination when describing colour of an object, an idea of using such a colour space for skin-colour detection was taken under consideration and some of the methods were researched and tested.

In this research, an Individual Learner Big Data Based Cloud Role Player Game Learning Corresponding to Individual Learner Big Data is proposed. Based on the proposed platform, all the learning states and information (Big Data) of individual learner can be further analyzed. By using dynamic assigning algorithm, individual learner (student) can be separated into different levels related to the learning ability. According to dynamic assigning algorithm, student's answering times and answering correct rate of each education scenario in the proposed cloud based digital game learning system is considered. then, suitable teaching scenario will be provided for individual user corresponding to personal learning ability. Each designed modular teaching scenario can be embedded into the game platform on the virtual machine in cloud. the information about students in the game learning system can be stored in the cloud database. In addition, the whole learning system is established as a virtual machine. System maintainer can configure the learning system easily and quickly. Based on cloud, different remote devices can connect to server for learning.

the number of online real-time streaming services deployed over network topologies like P2P or centralized ones has remarkably increased in the recent years. this has revealed the lack of networks that are well prepared to respond to this kind of traffic. A hybrid distribution network can be an efficient solution for real-time streaming services. this paper contains the experimental results of streaming distribution in a hybrid architecture that consist of mixed connections among P2P and Cloud nodes that can interoperate together. We have chosen to represent the P2P nodes as Planet Lab machines over the world and the cloud nodes using a Cloud provider's network. First we present an experimental validation of the Cloud infrastructure's ability to distribute streaming sessions with respect to some key streaming QoS parameters: jitter, throughput and packet losses. Next we show the results obtained from different test scenarios, when a hybrid distribution network is used. the scenarios measure the improvement of the multimedia QoS parameters, when nodes in the streaming distribution network (located in different continents) are gradually moved into the Cloud provider infrastructure. the overall conclusion is that the QoS of a streaming service can be efficiently improved, unlike in traditional P2P systems and CDN, by deploying a hybrid streaming architecture. this enhancement can be obtained by strategic placing of certain distribution network nodes into the Cloud provider infrastructure, taking advantage of the reduced packet loss and low latency that exists among its datacenters.

Nanoscale systems on chip will integrate billion-gate designs. the challenge is to find a scalable HW/SW design style for future CMOS technologies. Tiled architectures suggest a possible path: "small" processing tiles connected by "short wires". A typical SHAPES tile contains a VLIW floating-point DSP, a RISC, a DNP (Distributed Network Processor), distributed on chip memory, the POT (a set of Peripherals On Tile) plus an interface for DXM (Distributed External Memory). the SHAPES routing fabric connects on-chip and off-chip tiles, weaving a distributed packet switching network. 3D next-neighbours engineering methodologies is adopted for off-chip networking and maximum system density. the SW challenge is to provide a simple and efficient programming environment for tiled architectures. SHAPES will investigate a layered system software, which does not destroy algorithmic and distribution info provided by the programmer and is fully aware of the HW paradigm. For efficiency and QoS, the system SW manages intra-tile and inter- tile latencies, bandwidths, computing resources, using static and dynamic profiling. the SW accesses the on-chip and off-chip networks through a homogeneous interface.
