this paper presents a multimodal facial anti-spoofing framework based on a Deep Learning approach using a stereo vision and voice sensing system. this framework is part of a project for an intelligent receptionist robot and its function is to authenticate people by applying a face recognition redundancy process that prevents the identity theft of a person. the proposal consists of a smart screen that has a multimodal sensing system including cameras and audio. the redundancy approach pipeline for face recognition contains a face and voice recognition module and a 3D face verification module to determine whether the person is real. the system initially acquires and processes a stream of images and audio in real-time, using deep neural networks it detects and recognizes the face and voice of a person, then aligns the images from two cameras and obtains the 3D point cloud of the detected human face in the scene, and finally uses this 3D information to verify whether the recognized person is real. the proposed solution is evaluated with different people to validate the effectiveness of the system. the dataset will be available for the research community. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

In this work, we propose a novel test case generation approach that can cover the new interactions introduced following the unpredictable evolution of the behaviour of a multi-agent system (MAS) under test. the approach consists in dynamically applying a model-based test for each new version of the system under test. It uses for this (i) the AUML sequence diagram of each new version of the system under test to generate test cases capable of covering the new interactions introduced in this system, (ii) the constraints, expressed in Object Constraint Language (OCL), necessary for the execution of each interaction in order to take into account the specificities of interactions between agents that can be performed inclusively, exclusively, or in parallel, (iii) genetic algorithms to follow the evaluation of the introduction of new interactions in the system under test. © 2022 IEEE.

Based on intelligent information system identification and semantic classification, this paper studies the intellectual property risks of the cross-border e-commerce comprehensive test zone. Intellectual property protection has become a support condition for the further development of the test zone and is of great significance to the enterprises in the zone. Cross-border e-commerce in the Pilot Free Trade Zone based on neural network semantic recognition is the research object. Based on the analysis of IPR disputes in the Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone accepted by the People's Court of Shanghai Pudong New Area, it identifies and warns cross-border e-commerce in the Pilot Free Trade Zone. the legal risks of e-commerce intellectual property rights are analyzed and the causes are analyzed, and corresponding risk control measures and prevention mechanisms are proposed. © 2022 IEEE

the increasingly present automation of vehicles generates great concern both in the industrial and public sectors. Evidently, the autonomy of vehicles is accompanied by a large number of scientific questions: what are the real benefits of automating transport services? what are the new expected situations due to the presence of an autonomous vehicle? etc. In terms of road safety, great interest has been aroused in the interactions between autonomous vehicles and the rest of the road users (pedestrians, cyclists, motorists, etc.). Especially, there is interest in the way current road users act/react to the inclusion of this new element (the autonomous vehicle) in the road ecosystem. the definition and classification of these interactions undoubtedly influence the Operational Design Domain (ODD) as well as the defined behaviour that the autonomous vehicle must perform in any situation. In this article, the description of the methodology carried out for the identification, registration and subsequent analysis of these situations of interest is presented, which is composed of five parts: 1) Installation of fixed cameras and GPS system used for monitoring interactions, 2) detection of the autonomous vehicle (AV) and other road users, 3) estimation of AV and other users trajectories, 4) estimation of the distances between the AV and other users, and 5) interpretation of the data collected and its use to improve road safety.

Aiming at the problem of scarce defect data set in industrial product detection, a defect recognition method based on fusion learning of multi-layer image feature is proposed in this paper. the method introduces three Gaussian pyramids with the same size and different resolution to obtain more defect information, and establishes a Defect recognition Convolutional Network to extract the information. the experimental results show that our model is more capable of extracting features, and can obtain superior accuracy, recall, and precision, as well as deal with industrial fuzzy sampling. © 2022 IEEE.

Ensuring the safety of individuals should be a top priority. Everyone wants to return home safely. Many riders continue to disregard safety constraints, increasing the chance of accidents that result in death. It is critical to incorporate the latest technology into road monitoring systems to make cities smarter and to ensure rider safety. For this research, Deep Learning (DL) and the Internet of things (IoT) were chosen for effective road surveillance and alert systems. the primary goal of the study is to detect and inform riders about accidents that occur along their path and to provide details about the location of the detected accident. Additionally, the system provides the vehicle's speed. To identify automobile accidents in the footage, a hybrid DL model that includes Convolutional Neural Network-Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (CNN-Bi-LSTM) is suggested. For the model's training, both accident and non-Accident data were collected. the model is evaluated using three metrics: Accuracy, loss, and execution time. the next step is to upload the recommended model to the thingSpeak cloud. A Graphical User Interface (GUI) is being created in the thingSpeak cloud. the GUI displays the vehicle's speed, accident images, and the precise location of the accident scene using the Raspberry Pi, speed sensor, Pi-camera, and Global Positioning System (GPS) module. An LED is also integrated into the GUI to alert the user. A real-world test is conducted on the designed system. the proposed solution has many advantages and will ensure driver safety. © 2024 IEEE.

the fact of mixing hardware and software give rise to very complex systems, known as Cyber Physical systems (CPS), that underlie several additional constraints for their design. the formalization of such systems requires a well-defined mathematical and modeling approach providing an integrated formal analysis. this paper aims to propose such formal approach while the main characteristic is to combine the BPMN model and Bigraphs to ensure the conception of these systems respecting several points of view. Our focus is on showing how these models complement each other to assist the system designer in establishing formal verification of the business process work-flows involved in CPS. the proposed integrated approach allows, according to different dimensions: functional, organizational and behavioral, to give precise semantics for the considered business process, with the aim of improving their efficiency, adapting them to new technologies and possible extensions and thus gaining a competitive advantage for the CPS-based organization they model. © 2022 IEEE.

Cyber-physical systems (CPS) emerge as a paradigm in which smart things actively collaborate among them, providing value-added services. the interconnection of physical things and their integration into software systems caused the CPS to be more and more complex. CPS is required to carry out a mission with minimum supervision. In fact, CPSs plan to be flexible systems that should autonomously, or with minimal manual intervention, decide how they adapt their internal behavior in response to dynamic environmental events. In this paper we discuss the CPS paradigm from the perspective of self-adaptive systems. Indeed, this will allow CPSs to modify their behavior, at runtime, in response to environment changes. We propose a multi-layer architecture for CPSs. the latter contains the main software modules that convert CPS to be self-aware, self-learning and self-reconfiguring. A case study about fault prediction in industrial CPS helps to evaluate the proposed architecture. © 2022 IEEE.

Video matting aims at accurately separating foreground from videos. Recent video matting researches pursue to eliminate auxiliary inputs. However, due to the limited ability of extracting global correlation features, these methods suffer from performance degradation when dealing with complex scenes or natural background videos. To address this challenge, we propose a video matting method called Video Matting Based on Local-Global Features Fusion (VMBLGFF) which can extract both comprehensive global correlation features and local subtle features. VMBLGFF contains two closely connected networks: a transformer network that utilizes window and global attention mechanisms to obtain global correlation features within and cross windows, and a fusion network that integrates local subtle features into the global correlation features to supplement the local detail information which may be overlooked by the attention mechanisms. VMBLGFF alleviates the issue of limiting global correlation features and has been benchmarked on both synthetic and real datasets, and the results demonstrate that VMBLGFF improves the quality of video matting and exhibits good generalization performance. © 2024 SPIE.
