Unlike most other natural languages, Chinese language displays a considerable amount of semantic information at the character level;the case is especially true when looking at the components (radicals) comprising Chinese characters. Radicals (bushou) show important semantic impacts on Chinese characters. Most published papers have focused on word and phrase level of Chinese semantic analysis. In this paper, we study the semantics strength of Chinese radicals by comparing the radicals' semantics withthe meaning of the character. We investigate on the spatial patterns of radicals and map radicals and characters' semantics to WordNet synsets hierarchy;we compare their semantics relationships and discover the semantics strength of Chinese radicals.

Nowadays, enterprises have been pushed up the rate of industrial transformation to high level products and services. the capability to agilely respond to new market demands became a strategic pillar for enterprises survival. It leads to the necessity of create mechanisms to allow enterprises to combine forces to compete jointly in the market, in order to raise their own added value and to become specialist in niche activities. But to unite forces, enterprises must exchange information/knowledge between them. A semantic problem emerges when the same representation of a thing can have different meanings to different applications and enterprises. It can be a disabler for information exchange and its interpretation. the semanticweb Service concept emerges as a solution to facilitate web Services description and consequently discovery tasks, unifying the domain services. Moreover, the data integration between concepts can be achieved trough mappings establishment between web Services elements. However, a solution that allows to map web Service elements to semantic concepts represented using OWL is still missing. To face this issue, a model-driven approach supported by a mapping tool is here presented withthe aim of facilitate the information exchange trough the establishment of mappings between enterprises services models and the domain reference lexicon.

Opinion targets extraction of Chinese microblogs plays an important role in opinion mining. there has been a significant progress in this area recently, especially the method based on conditional random field (CRF). However, this method only takes lexicon-related features into consideration and does not excavate the implied syntactic and semanticknowledge. We propose a novel approach which incorporates domain lexicon with groups of syntactical and semantic features. the approach acquires domain lexicon through a novel way which explores syntactic and semantic information through Part- of-Speech, dependency structure, phrase structure, semantic role and semantic similarity based on word embedding. And then we combine the domain lexicon with opinion targets extracted from CRF with groups of features for opinion targets extraction. Experimental results on COAE2014 dataset show the outperformance of the approach compared with other well-known methods on the task of opinion targets extraction.

Travelling upon the web is difficult for visually impaired users since the web pages are designed for visual interaction [6]. Visually impaired users usually use screen readers(1) to access the web in audio. However, unlike sighted users, screen readers cannot see the implicit structural and navigational knowledge encoded within the visual presentation of web pages. therefore, in a visually impaired user's environment, objects that support travel are missing or inaccessible. Our approach to remedy this is to annotate pages with an ontology, the Travel Ontology, that aims to encapsulate rich structural and navigational knowledge about these objects. We use semanticweb technologies to make such knowledge explicit and computationally accessible. Our semi-automated tool, Dante identifies travel objects on web pages, annotates them appropriately withthe Travel Ontology and uses this to transform the pages to enhance the travel support. thus Dante uses the Travel Ontology to enhance the travel experience of visually impaired users. this paper introduces the Travel Ontology, the annotation pipeline used in the annotation part of Dante and some transformation scenarios to illustrate how the annotations are used to guide the transformation of web pages.

All agents and services in the platform use semanticweb standards to represent their internal knowledge and semanticweb query languages are used to query them. semanticweb services can be discovered and dynamically invoked. the directory service is implemented in a way to support semantic matching of agent capabilities. the ontology service allows ontology translation based on defined mappings between platform ontologies and external ontologies. Description Logics (DLs) play a key role in the design of ontologies. An ontology is a formal description of important concepts in a particular domain. In practice, a set of a specific-domain applications use different representations of the same real world entity due to various viewpoints, context, and specific interest. In this paper, we are interested in the problem of representing an ontology in a heterogeneous domain by taking into consideration different viewpoints and different terminologies of various users, groups or even communities in the organisation. this type of ontology, called multi-viewpoints ontology, confers to the same universe of discourse, several partial descriptions, where each one is relative to a particular viewpoint. Moreover, these partial descriptions share at global level, fuzzy ontological elements allowing the representation of vague/imprecise knowledge between the various viewpoints. So, our goal is to propose a fuzzy multiviewpoints ontology web language, which is an extension of OWL-DL language, to allow the multi-viewpoints ontologies representation.
