the first commutation failure which results from the initiation of the AC fault is generally inevitable, whereas the issue of successive commutation failures (SCFs) might be able to be managed if spotted earlier. In view of the fact that the voltage dependent current order limiter (VDCOL) plays a vital role in the recovery stage of the HVDC link, nevertheless, its output characteristic shows a reckless disregard for the warranty of the margin of inverter extinction angle. Consequently, the SCFs are liable to take place owing to the mismatch between the VDCOL and the inverter control. In this paper, the mechanism of the onset of SCFs is investigated in the first place, and then an adaptive DC current control strategy is introduced, which has taken the advantages of the original VDCOL but at the same time overcome its shortcomings. Simulation tests based on the CIGRE benchmark HVDC model in PSCAD/EMTDC software indicate that the presented control strategy is not only effective but also superior in contrast to the original scheme. © 2020 IEEE.

Active distribution network (ADN) is an important part of the future power market, which undertakes the mission of accommodating high penetration distributed generation. However, traditional dispatch mode of the distribution system cannot accommodate high-penetrated renewable energy. In this paper, a novel optimal scheduling model is developed to optimize the accommodation of distributed renewable energy by coordinating active and reactive power. the proposed model takes capacitor bank (CB), energy storage systems (ESS) and static var generator (SVG) as management devices, optimize the day-ahead dispatchable resources of active distribution system in a centralized manner. Different from second-order cone programming method that cannot cooperate with the maximum DG penetration objective, we apply the successive linear approximation method to transform the original non-convex and nonlinear optimal dispatch model with AC balance equation into a mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) model, so that the model can be solved efficiently and accurately by commercial optimization software. A real distribution system in Nantong is employed to verify the proposed model. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Reuse automation is a main concern of software engineering to produce high quality applications in a faster and cheaper manner. Some approaches define cross-platform model-driven software product lines to systematically and automatically reuse generic assets in software development. they improve the product line assets reusability by designing them according to the model-driven Architecture specifications. However, their reuse of platform-specific assets is limited due to an inefficient platform-specific variability management. this issue interfere with gains in productivity provided by reuse. In this paper, we define platform-specific variability by identifying variation points in different software concerns based on the well-known "4+1" view model categorization. then, we fully manage platform-specific variability by structuring the Platform-Specific model using two sub-models: the Cross-Cutting model, obtained by transformation of the Platform-Independent model;and the Application Structure model, obtained by reuse of variable platform-specific assets. this structure is supported by a framework, based on a Domain-Specific modeling Language, helping developers to build an application model. Experiments on three concrete applications confirmed that our approach significantly improves product lines productivity. © 2019, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Using the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) model, the basis of decoupling method was adopted for the analysis, and the realization of the vector control strategy was described in detail. Since the detection of rotor position in the vector control is different from the traditional sensor position detection, an Improved Hybrid Genetic Algorithm (IHGA), within a certain range of precision, was implemented to enhance the speed of rotor position estimation. In the calculation process, new activation function and elitist strategy were to reduce the errors and ensure that the weight and threshold eventually converged to the optimal global values. the above scheme was simulated in a MATLAB environment. the results that the error values of rotor position detected with the optimized algorithm was controlled within an acceptable range, and the speed was remarkably higher than that of CORDIC algorithm, demonstrating the feasibility and superiority of the current design.

the use of virtual training, can solve the problems such as the shortage of training resources, slow update of equipment, lack of training supplies, risks and environmental pollution and other issues in pure physical equipment training. this paper applies Blender and Html5 technology to student's experiment in colleges and universities, and designs an interactive virtual experiment platform which integrates learning and experiment and supports muti-Terminal visualization. the design scheme, main function and implementation technology of the platform are introduced in detail, and applied to the course of computer assembly and maintenance. First, the 3D model is constructed by the free open source modeling software Blender and exported in a specific format recognized by the WebGL library. then, this library is used to add interactive function for the application program, which can realize the real-Time interaction between user's Browser and 3D model. HTML5 is used to eliminate the problem of customizing special web pages for different devices, and adaptive page design is realized to support multi-Terminal access. Based on this platform, the virtual reality learning system of computer assembly and maintenance was designed. After the completion of the study, knowledge acquisition, skill assessment, psychological feeling and cognitive load were measured. Practice shows that the application of this technology can enhance the immersion and intelligence of the experimental process, and improve the user's interaction and experience. At the same time, the system has a cross platform, free plug-in, easy maintenance and other characteristics, can solve the problems of poor user experience and compatibility of traditional virtual experiment platform. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Specification languages offer abstractions and notations that facilitate the systematic and analytical reasoning about important aspects in a specific domain problematic. In a software engineering process domain, the usage of specification languages improve the quality and delivery time of the artefacts generated during the execution of the process activities. Cloud applications, or cloud services, are service-oriented applications whose consumption is constantly growing;however, their development require support for new roles and activities. In this work we are interested in knowing how specification languages are being used by researchers and practitioners to support the development of cloud services. this work presents a systematic mapping that provides guidance to determine the current state and to characterize the specification languages that support the service life cycle activities in a cloud services development domain.

In recent years, the development of the Internet of things technology has been very rapid. However, with the explosive growth of IoT devices, the challenges facing the IoT environment are becoming more and more serious. How to ensure the security of the IoT becomes a key issue. the primary purpose of IoT security is to protect private data and ensure the security of IoT users, infrastructure, data and devices. this paper reviews the threat challenges and IoT security models at each level of the Internet of things in recent years and discusses some of the past and future solutions. At first, the IoT security threats are systematically introduced from the perspectives of physics, network and data. In addition, the mainstream IoT security model is introduced. then we introduce solutions to IoT threats from three perspectives, including IoT access control, intrusion detection and distribution methods. In the end, the paper introduces the current IoT security model has not formed a unified standard and expresses a future expectation for the development of future security model. © 2019 IEEE.

One of the main concerns of software engineering is the automation of reuse in order to produce high quality applications in a faster and cheaper manner. model-driven software Product Line engineering is an approach providing solutions to systematically and automatically reuse generic assets in software development. More specifically, some solutions improve the product line core assets reusability by designing them according to the model-driven Architecture approach. However, existing approaches provide limited reuse for platform-specific assets. In fact, platform-specific variability is either ignored or only partially managed. these issues interfere with gains in productivity provided by reuse. In this paper, we first provide a better understanding of platform-specific variability by identifying variation points in different aspects of a software based on the well-known "4+1" view model categorization. then we propose to fully manage platform-specific variability by building the Platform-Specific-model using two sub-models: the Cross-Cutting model, which is obtained by transformation of the Platform-Independent model, and the Application Structure model, which is obtained by reuse of variable platform-specific assets. the approach has been experimented on two concrete applications. the obtained results confirm that our approach significantly improves the productivity of a product line.

the growing number of models and other related artefacts in model-driven engineering has recently led to the emergence of approaches and tools for analyzing and managing them on a large scale. the framework SAMOS applies techniques inspired by information retrieval and data mining to analyze large sets of models. As the data size and analysis complexity goes up, however, further scalability is needed. In this paper we extend SAMOS to operate on Apache Spark, a popular engine for distributed Big Data processing, by partitioning the data and parallelizing the comparison and analysis phase. We present preliminary studies using a cluster infrastructure and report the results for two datasets: one with 250 Ecore metamodels where we detail the performance gain with various settings, and a larger one of 7.3k metamodels with nearly one million model elements for further demonstrating scalability.
