the paper describes and analyzes an Average Schwarz Method with spectrally enriched coarse space for a reduced Hsieh-Clough-Tocher (RHCT) finite element discretization of a 4th-order elliptic multiscale problem. the derived symmetric preconditioner is applied and the PCG iterative method is used to solve the preconditioned problem. Suppose the enrichments of the coarse space contain sufficiently many specially constructed eigenfunctions. In that case, the convergence rate of the PCG method is weakly dependent on the ratio of the coarse to fine mesh h/H. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

Kalman filtering is an algorithm widely used in state estimation of dynamic systems, and its wide applications include navigation, tracking and control systems. However, the computational complexity of Kalman filtering makes it inefficient when processing large-scale data. this paper studies the parallel processing method of Kalman filtering, and improves the execution efficiency of the algorithm by dividing the filtering process into blocks and parallelizing them. through experiments on simulated data of sinusoidal signals plus Gaussian white noise, the significant advantages of parallel processing methods in computing time are verified, and the influence of block processing on filtering results is discussed.

Since 1980s, machine translation technology has witnessed a rapid development. Aligned parallel corpus, either as a resource for computer-assisted translation or as a training corpus for statistical machine translation, exhibits great potential in application. the method of EBMT proposed by Nagao Makoto provides a chance for automatic translation of poetry, which has been considered as a thorny problem in translation. this paper introduces the construction and processing of a parallel Corpus for Tang Poetry and Song Lyrics (PCTS). As is known to all, bilingual parallel corpora serve as fundamental resources for language teaching and research. With a concordancer, language teachers and learners will gain a better understanding of a certain line in its various contexts, in which the rhetorical device and rhyming pattern can also be obtained.

the growth in data volume poses a challenge to query processing. On the other hand, advancements in technology have made multicore CPUs available in many inexpensive servers. so parallel query based on multicore CPU is undoubtedly a solution for query acceleration and cost reduction. In this paper, a parallel query method is proposed and implemented, which rewrites the query execution plan and replaces the original serial scanning operator with a parallel driver operator under the premise that most of the operators do not change, so as to maximize the utilization of CPU and disk resources. Experiments show that it can achieve approximately a 2x speed increase in query processing. © 2024 IEEE.
