With the widespread adoption of Ethernet-based technologies in industrial environments, the prevalence of multi-application collaborative service chains is quickly increasing. therefore, a significantly greater correlation between networks and applications has emerged as a critical development trend. Recently, cross-application service chains shifted their focus to pursue global optimization rather than exclusively taking advantage of local modules. However, existing deterministic techniques primarily focus on the management and control of either network devices or edge computing devices. this paper emphasizes the necessity for service chain-oriented implementations of modeling and analysis in areas such as computing power networks and deterministic application layer systems. We propose a general delay model for deterministic service chains that combines network calculus and queueing theory to facilitate comprehensive performance evaluation of deterministic systems under the mutual influence of multiple deterministic services. © 2023 IEEE.

In a new network architecture like NDN, designing an efficient name lookup method has always been a valuable challenge. the paper studies the name lookup technology based on the Bloom filter and BPNN neural network mapping model in named data networking. In the part of the hybrid model based on the Bloom filter and BPNN, the paper proposes the fusion idea of the Bloom filter and BPNN, and provides a detailed introduction to the construction process of the hybrid model. At the same time, in order to improve the memory utilization of traditional Bloom filters, this article proposes a way to use neural networks to enhance it, and proved its effectiveness through experiments. © 2024 IEEE.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is evolving as a very important force in changing pedagogical frameworks and learning methodologies amidst the swiftly changing landscape of higher education. Hence, the present paper is an effort to outline the various dimensions of the role played by AI in pedagogy at the higher education level, delving into its ramifications, challenges, and prospects. the following study, therefore, gives a measure of effectiveness in an extensive literature review and empirical assessment of AI to improve learning outcomes, the personalization of educational experiences, and encourage inclusion within the learning process. Informed through detailed discussions with experts and a literature review, the methodology to be adopted is a mix of both quantitative research through AI-driven learning analytics and a qualitative view of educators and students. these preliminary findings underline potential for AI further in adaptive learning, predictive analytics, and automated assessment while throwing into sharp relief critical ethical consideration points and challenges around data privacy and the digital divide. In this discussion, an analysis of the potential for AI to reimagine education is reflected within the framework of strong ethical frames and inclusive policies. © 2024 IEEE.

In order to accurately and effectively identify the types and locations of abnormal information in the power industry, an electric power deep learning computing service platform is constructed to provide intelligent inspection services. the platform adopts hierarchical technology architecture, based on Docker technology, realizes the abstract pooling of many kinds of computing resources, and provides the management interface of heterogeneous resources such as GPU, NPU and so on according to the specific requirements of deep learning field, so as to realize the unified management and scheduling of heterogeneous resources, and provide an efficient, flexible and scalable distributed computing service supporting environment for deep learning computing tasks. the platform layer provides data center, development center, training center, model center, service center and other subsystems, and built-in a variety of learning frameworks and model algorithms to support external algorithm model integration. It really realizes the one-stop development ability of deep learning tasks. In the process of intelligent inspection of electric power, the online recognition and detection of a variety of abnormal information is realized, which provides a technical basis for on-line identification, supervision, prevention and control, comprehensive management of abnormal behavior. © 2023 IEEE.

Edge computing performs real-time analysis and operation on the collected front-end data at the edge of the network, reduces the cloud load pressure effectively and improves the real-time response of the system. In order to enhance the real-time and accuracy of target detection algorithm to satisfy the requirements of edge computing, we propose an improved YOLOv5 target detection algorithm in this paper. Firstly, the Convolutional Block Attention Module (CBAM) is introduced in backbone of the YOLOv5 to focus on more important features and facilitate the detection of small targets. Secondly, in the Neck part of the network, the Bidirectional Feature Pyramid Network (BiFPN) is adopted to integrate diverse features and improve feature extraction across various scales and the C3Ghost is used to extract target features leading to greatly improvement of the calculation speed. Additionally,the depthwise over-parameterized convolutional layer (DO-Conv) is used to replace the some traditional convolutional layer to accelerate the training speed without increasing the computation complexity. Experimental results on the TT100K dataset shows the proposed YOLOv5 algorithm improves the target detection accuracy while ensuring the model efficiency to meet the realtime requirements for edge devices. © 2024 IEEE.

In recent years, blockchain technology has gained immense popularity due to its decentralized and secure nature. However, traditional blockchain systems still face security challenges in terms of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data. Attribute-based encryption (ABE) is a promising solution to address these challenges, as it provides fine-grained access control and enhances data privacy. In this paper, we propose the implementation of modified ABE in blockchain to improve security and quality of service. Our modified ABE scheme introduces a dynamic access control policy, which enables the blockchain system to update the access control policy in real-time, based on the changing requirements of the data owners. Moreover, our scheme leverages the advantages of smart contracts to automate the process of key generation and distribution, thereby improving the efficiency and scalability of the system. To evaluate the performance of our proposed scheme, we conduct extensive experiments on a private Ethereum blockchain network. the results demonstrate that our modified ABE scheme achieves high security and efficiency, while ensuring the confidentiality and availability of data. We also compare our scheme with existing ABE-based blockchain systems and show that our scheme outperforms them in terms of security, efficiency, and flexibility. In summary, our proposed modified ABE scheme offers an innovative solution to enhance the security and quality of service of blockchain systems. the scheme's dynamic access control policy and smart contract-based key management improve the efficiency and scalability of the system, making it an attractive option for various applications that require secure and efficient data sharing. © 2024 IEEE.

In response to the challenges posed by changes in user business processes and the flexibility of service composition, this paper conducts in-depth analysis from two aspects: flexible software theory and data processing flow. Based on existing technologies, a service-oriented and workflow management software framework is proposed. It abstracts the business process layer and service layer, and utilizes the flexibility of workflow management to implement a flexible software framework technology, truly realizing the component assembly of software development industrialization, while supporting the flexible reorganization of data business processes. Finally, guided by the theory of flexible software, the specific implementation methods and processes of this framework were described in detail. the experimental results show that the framework achieves module reuse, reduces software development costs, and ensures the quality of software products. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

Now-a-days, service composition is an interesting mechanism in various fields, such as the Internet of things (IoT), Cloud computing, and Software-defined networks. service composition aims to allow interactions among user requirements and their components. Several research studies have been performed on the formal verification to validate the service composition. However, less attention is paid to the service composition validation (completeness and correctness) in the IoT environment using business processes (BPs). therefore, this paper provides a validated service composition (VSC) approach in the IoT environment. this approach considers the look-up table and Triple Graph Grammar (TGG) rule for the service composition. Look-up table enables to establish a one-to-one relationship between business process (BP) and service composition. this table has limitations in-terms of representation. So, the TGG rule is used to establish the m-to-n relationships. the BP elements are mapped with the service composition, but the backward transformation is not possible. An algorithm is designed for validation purposes. the case study related to healthcare, i.e., clinical decision support system (CDSS), is used to evaluate the proposed approach. Various dynamic features are considered to compare the VSC with the existing approaches. the novelty of this paper is to prove the VSC is complete but not correct. the effectiveness of the VSC is shown in terms of validation and execution time with respect to BPs. © 2023 IEEE.

Cloud computing emerged as a promising model for delivering services over the internet, offering users a pay-as-you-use structure that grants access to infrastructures (Infrastructure as a service), platforms for running various programs (Platform as a service) and software (Software as a service) at minimal cost. Surprisingly, as cloud environments evolve and expand, access control has become a critical concern to ensure that the data stored in these systems maintains confidentiality, integrity, and availability. the increasing complexity of cloud architecture highlights the urgent need for a robust access control model, as the consequences of inadequate protection could be disastrous. this article provides a novel approach to addressing the vulnerabilities in cloud security, emphasizing the need for enhanced access control measures. It investigates how deep learning can provide a defense-in-depth strategy to detect and prevent unauthorized access and data breaches by analyzing current gaps in cloud security research. through a systematic analysis, this study aims to bridge these gaps, offering insights into how deep learning models can strengthen cloud environments against potential threats. By combining deep learning with traditional methods, the model dynamically optimizes access control decisions and strengthens data confidentiality. Results show that the proposed outperforms current works with accuracy of 94.39% that demonstrates considerable gains in data security, resilience, and overall performance that effectively addresses anomalies in cloud environments. © 2024 IEEE.
