the constructions of Intelligent Computer Assistance-Instruction (iCAI) are practically less use in thai education because they are required programming skills. the purposes of this research are developing, testing and measuring the efficiency of iCAI, especially in the religion societies and culture subject. It is constructed with the program that is supported. the tree data structure is able to respond with individual varieties. the stratified random sampling technique has been applied to measure the proposed iCAI according to sixth-grade students data. An instrument test by population is classified with GPA. the samples divided into three groups;smart, medium and low. To examine the efficiency of the iCAI lessons, the 80/80 standard criterion was used. A result of the study is 84.21/83.33, which is higher than the preset criterion of 80/80 standard it can be the theoretically substituted regular lesson. the students who studied by using iCAI had higher learning effectiveness than the students who studied in normal learning program at 0.1 of statistical significance.

Organizational learning, knowledge generation, capture, sharing and application are important activities in today's rapidly changing and hyper-competitive business ecosystem. the demand of continuing education in SME's is raised by accelerated tempo of the modern lifestyle and rapid technological changes. Continuing education, effective use of information and communication technologies (ICT) and knowledge Management (KM) are effective instruments for small and medium enterprises (SME) to become and remain competitive. this paper provides a conceptual model for continuous education development in SME's by using knowledge management methods and creating an IT supported ecosytem. the paper demonstrates an enterprise modeling (EM) method that incorporates IT technologies to identify users' needs and match them to appropriate learning curricula to suit their needs and interests. this conceptual model is context and technology adapatable and supports formal and informal learning scenariois. the ecosystems approach more precisely matches users' demonstrated skills levels to learning options mere precisely than those available to them with IT technologies. © 2010 IEEE.

It is believed that the Interactive White Board Technology (IWBT) ecosystem could provide many pedagogical advantages to higher education institutions. IWBT comes with a portfolio of duplicated hardware components and software features that could intelligently facilitate the teaching process making it more rich and interactive for both teachers and students. In addition, the board's touchable feature makes it more interactive and hence, encourages student's participation and involvement in learning. However, the IWBT is recent and research issues emanating from its use in teaching are limited. Initial insights suggested that aspects concerning IWBT use in the classroom are intrusive to teachers' existing teaching styles which could muster their resistance and hence, undermine the benefits sought from this technology. this research undertakes a more proactive approach and showcases different scenario highlighting the use of the IWBT in teaching different courses for different departments in the College of Information Technology. It is believed that adopting such an approach could, at least, eliminates the initial expected resistance for IWBT and encourages its use amongst teachers. © 2010 IEEE.

In the last decade, the number of elderly population has increased significantly which affects human in many aspects, especially in healthcare. Many studies have shown increases in expenditures on long-term care. New models of care are needed including supported self-care and home-based services. Advance in sensor and network technologies have made these possible. A smart home which is a residence equipped with smart technologies providing services that enhance human way of living i.e. safety, security, entertainment, etc would allow elderly to maintain living independently in their homes and still in control of their healthcare cost and status. this paper reviews various topics on smart home technologies including smart home projects, smart home network, smart home appliance and sensor technologies for smart home. A successful adoption of smart home technologies requires appreciation of stakeholders' perceptions, needs and concerns. A survey has been carried out at a major hospital, nursing homes and general population to explore the perception of six smart home technologies to assist elderly people and concerns regarding the use of smart home technologies. Overall, the result showed positive feedbacks toward these technologies. Participants were concerned about issues such as lack of human responders, user friendliness of the device and the need of learning new technology. In terms of willingness of adoption of these technologies is still unclear. However, it is suggested that by giving real experiences of smart home technologies, their usefulness and effectiveness would be more appreciated. © 2010 SKIMA Organizing Committee.

the presence of new technologies on distance education generates a cloud of learning environments with high presence of multimedia contents and mobility capabilities. the widespread use of mobile technologies, digital TV and Internet enables ubiquitous learning environments that allow students to learn anywhere anytime. However, the diversity of computational and display capabilities of the current access devices (i.e. PC, mobile phones, set-top boxes) requires a smart content design methodology to reduce the development time. this paper aims to present the methodology followed to generate platform-independent interactive learning materials with high presence of multimedia resources and its deployment in different platforms. the methodology is shown taking the example of an interactive application to drive a seminar on the soldering process of complex BGA chip packages for building electronic systems. this content design process is shown from our platform-independent design level until its deployment in PC, TV and mobile platforms. this may help teachers and content creators in the generation of learning materials that are independent of the learning Content Management System (LCMS) that serve it and the device used to access to it. Moreover, basic guidelines are given to generate the classroom materials through the same unified design process. ©2010 IEEE.

the electric grid is currently undergoing important changes: it is evolving from an entirely centralized structure to a decentralized one, mainly due to the massive development of distributed renewable energy sources. this evolution toward what we now call the smart grid requires new control methods. these methods must be able to withstand new requirements, such as the highly distributed nature of the grid, the ability to run in islanding mode, the intermittency of renewable energy sources and the limited bandwidth for communications. Multi-agent systems (MAS) have characteristics that meet these requirements. In contrary to classical analytical methods, the grid is considered as a collection of simple entities called agents corresponding to sources, loads and other components, evolving in a given environment. A certain degree of distributed or collective intelligence can be achieved through the interaction of these agents with each other, cooperating or competing to reach their goals. this article is a short review of several multi-agent systems published in the literature and used for grid energy management. It presents a number of concepts and experiments used by researchers to apply this promising method. Various approaches and their results are compared, in order to give the reader a global perspective of the state of the art in this precise domain.

According to the IDC report, up to year 2009 the demand of the smart phone had maintained an annual increase without being impacted by the financial tsunami occurred in late 2008. Apparently the smart phone, given its small size, light weight, convenience and powerful functions, has gradually gained strong preference of companies, institutions, and general users. In addition, the increasing interest in mobile internet access has also contributed to the increasing demand of the smart phone. therefore, studying the demand characteristics for smart phones is an important topic. In this study, we focused on how to deconstruct technology products design and hope to get a model of scientific and technological development of new products. We illustrated qualitative methods to explore and summarize the intentions and needs of using smart phones, in order to help the enterprise to develop and prepare for the future market with significant commercial opportunities. Finally, we found that based on the innovation model oriented by user demands, characteristics such as "appearance design", "function demand", "entertainment effect", "security and protection" and "knowledge learning" are the most important considerations for designing smart phones.
