With the rapid development of the Internet, applications in distributed processing systems have attracted more and more attention. the privacy protection is one of the most important factors to ensure the security of underlying networks in a distributed computing system. Users expect to use a service (e.g., a computing service) anonymously, while service providers want to make sure that the users are trusted and their behavior can be accountable. Given that these two factors are contradictory, how to provide an efficient solution to achieve trusted anonymous access to the services in distributed computing networks is a challenging task. In a distributed computing system, when a task needs to be computed by a worker (or server), the transmitted data over the underlying network to perform this computing service might include many different contents, and even lots of different flows. To this end, this paper presents a new and efficient architecture to help users use services anonymously in distributed computing networks, without loss of trustworthiness. the experimental results show that the proposed architecture introduces acceptable overheads, and can achieve the goal of balancing anonymity and trust in distributed computing networks.

Ransomware is one of the malicious software that is designed to prevent access to computer system until a sum of money is paid by the victim to the attacker. During the infection, the computer will either be locked, or the data will be encrypted. Ransoms are often demanded in Bitcoin, a largely anonymous Cryptocurrency. All transactions are recorded in the blockchain and verified by peer-to-peer networks. this paper investigation collects ten recent ransomware families, which use bitcoin as a payment for their ransom. In conjunction, we identified, collected and analysed Bitcoin addresses of users combining information from a clustering model and the blockchain. We used a heuristic clustering algorithm to reveal the hidden node's payment of ransomware. Finally, we demonstrated the characteristics of ransomware encryption mechanisms that include a view of the infected process and its execution, and the distinctive demands of ransom.

thread level speculation (TLS) technology has gained substantial international recognition due to its unique parallel program execution. It uses the potential parallel execution of programs to improve the utilization of multi-core resources. However, the kernel benchmark of TACLeBench has not effectively been analyzed using TLS parallelization. In response to this problem, we select 7 programs in the TACLeBench kernel benchmark to analyze its loop and procedure level speculation executions to measure their maximum potential parallelism. Furthermore, we discuss its runtime characteristics (thread size, speculative parallelism coverage, dependency feature) and the influence of program source code on speedup. Our experimental results illustrate that: 1) Most applications achieve impressive results. Bsort reaches 20.79x speedup in loop level speculation, and lms has 9.51x speedup in procedure level speculation;2) By using TLS to accelerate the TACLeBench kernel benchmark, most applications effectively utilize computing resources from 4 to 16 cores;3) the kernel benchmark is more suitable for developing parallelism in loop level speculation.

Recently, HTTP Adaptive Streaming(HAS) has been an essential solution for mobile video streaming to improve the Quality of Experience(QoE). the rate adaption of HAS dynamically switches between different quality levels of the same media content as the available bandwidth changes. In this paper, we propose BINARY, a novel HAS rate adaptation algorithm for the 4G cellular network with a dual character. BINARY differentiates the patterns of bandwidth variation as constant bandwidth fluctuation and instantaneous bandwidth hopping. In the first case, BINARY performs smoothed bandwidth prediction and conservative rate switching to avoid frequent video quality oscillations. In the other case, BINARY performs positive bandwidth prediction and aggressive rate switching to prevent rebuffering and make full use of available bandwidth. We evaluate the performance of BINARY through extensive experiments on a 4G network testbed. the results demonstrate that BINARY achieves improved QoE in higher average bitrate, reduced bitrate switching frequency, and lower rebuffering ratio.

To improve human-machine interaction in real-time robotic applications, especially in face recognition task, speed is limited because of robot on board limitations. the speed can be improved by incorporating the cloud technology, it supports flexibility in throughput, less cost, usability enhancement and fewer training instruction, high speed, but private cloud has security issues. So in this paper an attempt is made to improve speed and accuracy of recognition in encrypted domain without loosing privacy of robot. An overview of security algorithms like Cryptography based and image processing based schemes are presented. Some experiments are conducted for robot face recognition through various deep learning algorithms after encrypting the images (ORL database) and experimental results shows improvement in speed and accuracy of recognition.

Every robotic network cloud system can be seen as a graph with nodes as hardware with independent computational processing powers and edges as data transmissions between nodes. When assigning a task to a node we may change several values corresponding to the node such as distance to other nodes, the time to complete all of its tasks, the energy level of the node, energy consumed while performing all of its tasks, geometrical position, communication with other nodes, and so on. these values can be seen as fingerprints for the current state of the node which can be evaluated as a subspace of a hyperspace. We proposed a theoretical model describing how assigning tasks to a node will change the subspace of the hyperspace, and from that, we show how to obtain the optimal task allocation. We described the communication instability between nodes and the capability of nodes as subspaces of a hyperspace. We translate task scheduling to nodes as finding the maximum volume of the hyperspace.

Failures have expensive implications in HPC (High-erformance Computing) systems. Consequently, effective diagnosis of system failures is desired to help improve system reliability from both a remedial and preventive perspective. As HPC systems conduct extensive logging of resource usage and system events, parsing this data is an oft advocated basis for failure diagnosis. However, the high levels of concurrency that exist in HPC systems cause system events to frequently interleave in time and, as such, certain interactions appear or become indirect. which will be missed by current failure diagnostics techniques. To help uncover such indirect interactions, in this paper, we develop a novel approach that leverages the concept of partial correlation. the novel failure diagnostics workflow - called WADE - extracts partial correlation of resource use counters and partial correlation of system errors. As part of our contributions, we (a) compare our diagnostics approach with current ones, (b) identify two previously unknown causes of system failures, validated by system designers and (c) provide insights into Lustre I/O and segmentation faults. WADE has been put on the public domain to support system administrators in failure diagnosis.
