In order to improve human-machine matching in the field of automobile manufacturing, shorten the assembly production cycle and improve the existing assembly mode, according to the product assembly process flow. Risk management of automobile assembly process was carried out by identifying risk points and the LEC method, and the safety ergonomics of instrument panel assembly process was studied by JACK simulation software. First, virtual man-machine engineering simulation was carried out on the assembly process of the assembly process instrument. through the action decomposition of the instrument panel assembly process, the environment and human body were simulated. Second, using the lower back spine of the assembly process, static strength prediction, working posture analysis, and rapid upper limb assessment research, it is identified that the movement of controlling manipulator grasping the dashboard and loading into the car skeleton has the risk of personnel health injury. Finally, the assembly process design was improved for safety man-machine, the improved operating environment and operation process were simulated and *** results show that the man-machine relationship, working environment and operation process are improved through parameter optimization,and it provides a new idea and method for man-machine matching degree in automobile assembly process. © 2022 IEEE.

Tracing the internal changes seen by a product assembly during its useful life cycle without disassembling or destructively testing the product provides many challenges. When an assembly is disassembled for evaluation, the effect of component interaction is lost, particularly if operations such as press-fitting have been used in the assembly process. It is undesirable to destructively evaluate a product when it is still in its useful life cycle. Los Alamos National Laboratory is developing a process in which radiographic information is used to characterise an entire assembly for life cycle evaluation and the geometric information is extracted for input into a Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) software package. Digitized radiographs have been reconstructed into solid models using FotoG (TM) geometry extraction techniques and ProENGINEER (TM) solid modelling capabilities. Executed simultaneously, FotoG (TM) translates the extracted geometry into a format useable by the ProENGINEER (TM) software. Once the solid model is constructed, it is used for creation of finite element analysis input. virtual environment model creation, and tooling design. the creation of the finite element model allows us to forestall future problems using predictive analyses. Virtual environment creation provides us with the capability of creating a learning environment for technicians performing maintenance or disassembly of problem units. And tooling design provides us the capability to safely transport severely damaged assemblies in the event of an accident scenario.

Organizations mainly focus on the product quality rather on the processes which in fact make the product. the great amount of software organizations of the world are of small kind. these organizations have realized that it is essential for them to improve their processes and working technique but they lack in resources and the information for execution. In this paper, diverse literature on software process improvement in the small organizations had been reviewed. the purpose is to find out the critical success factors and the barriers for the small organization in the successful implementation of software process improvement program.

One of the most difficult, and crucial, activities in software development is the identification of system functional requirements. A popular way to capture and describe those requirements is through UML use case models. A business process model identifies the activities, resources and data involved in the creation of a product or service, having lots of useful information for developing a supporting software system. During system analysis, most of this information must be incorporated into use case descriptions. this paper proposes an approach to support the construction of use case models based on business process models. the proposed approach obtains a complete use case model, including the identification of actors, use cases and the corresponding descriptions, which are created from a set of predefined natural language sentences mapped from BPMN model elements.

Compared to business processes in other business domains, dynamic workflows in disaster management need a rather rigid allocation of work to actors. the work schedule must conform to available resources and their skills. Moreover, to ensure that each actor is able to quickly start working and to complete pieces of work rapidly, work must be distributed evenly. this also reduces the overall waiting time, which is an important issue in disaster management. Additionally, each actor should only have few tasks assigned at any point in time in order to be able to reliably perform critical tasks, without being overburdened. As conventional Business process Management (BPM) tools do not fully meet these requirements, we provide an additional layer to BPM tools, the so-called Dynamic Resource Allocation (DRA) component.

A process-centered software development environment must be open and as non-intrusive as possible. Openness is important because the nature of software process work is experimental, making it difficult to determine the forms of assistance that are needed. An extensible architecture that can incorporate new tools is more appropriate than one that fixes its components and functionality. Providing process support in a non-intrusive manner relieves organizations adopting process technology from having to change their working environment significantly. We present Provence, an architecture that inculcates these criteria and realizes them by integrating existing software components. Supporting cooperation is equally important, but we do not address this issue yet. Provence monitors developers’ activities, maps them to process steps, and maintains process and product data. Further, it provides a dynamic visual representation of changes to process and data throughout the lifetime of a project. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 1993.

Aiming to manage 3D models with high effciency in distributed web environment, an abstract scene model is proposed for version control in the disposing process of cooperative design. the abstract scene model is consisted of multi-layer models which combined with operation history graph, cooperative scene and X3D models. Based on this unified multi layer scene model, some independent private branch of a cooperative scene could be constructed for different designers in a cooperative team, then conflict detection and resolution could be carried out to merge branches into a united scene. For the reason that data transmission of 3D models is decreased, an effective working manner for asynchronous non-liner design could be realized. the approach provides a dynamic version management for asynchronous cooperation, which brings out a great efficiency in web-based product design.

For decades, valuable economic data was out of reach for most of the people. Gradually, public budgets and tenders are becoming openly available and global initiatives promote financial transparency and data innovation. But, yet the poor quality of open data undermines their potential to answer interesting questions (e.g. efficiency of public funds and market processes). the eLOD ontology has been initiated as a top-level conceptualization that interlinks the publicly available economic open data by modelling the flows incorporated in public procurement together with the market process to address complex policy issues. this paper presents the basic aspects of eLOD ontology in interlinking and querying diverse open data ranging from budget execution to prices. Already, eLOD ontology is used by two EU projects in order to to develop new systems, to enable information exchange between systems, to integrate data from heterogeneous sources and to publish open data related to economic activities.

Existing and evolving trends and paradigms in manufacturing, such as mass customisation and personalisation, call for better communication among product-production design and customisation and production execution. Specifically, the lack of feedback from and to the shopfloor can lead to lower product quality and increased production times. In state-of-the-art industrial practices, the most common visual interface devices for communication comprise control unit terminals, TFT monitors mounted over work stations, as well as the growing trend of mobile PCs and tablets. New technologies, such as Augmented Reality (AR), have also been considered in academic research for process simulation and operator guidance and training. this paper proposes a novel use of AR goggles, coupled with other mobile devices for the communication of people, working on the shopfloor and in the engineering offices. the proposed methodology tries to address the challenges, related to the use of both technologies (and their respective interfaces) by presenting an integrated approach: the use of a mobile device as an input device and as a fiducial marker for the positioning of a virtual screen in front of the user. After the presentation of the concept, its advantages and disadvantages, compared with current practices as well with the rest of the relevant academic work, are presented. the technical implementation to be realised, including specific software frameworks that will be used is also described. Special attention is given to the data models that will support the implementation of this approach as well as to show how they can be integrated into the existing systems and practices.
