In this paper, we introduce the hardware implementation of video acquisition in a sensor node of wireless sensor network withthe help of USB 2.0 interface. the USB 2.0 video acquisition is based on the CY7C67300 controller and the DCC1545M image sensor. In this paper, we detail the hardware architecture and the application program design in a sensor node using field-programmable gate array (FPGA) board and USB 2.0 interface. the CY7C67300 controller is the suitable choice for FPGA Virtex 4 and 5 based USB peripherals. A simple interface module capable of transferring data rates above 400 Mbits/s is implemented to communicate withthe CY7C67300 controller. In order to use the developed module, in Xilinx embedded design, we provide a custom peripheral which includes the CY767300 interface as its core and additional logic for the connection to the external peripheral controller (EPC) and then the processor local bus (PLB).

Several methods exist for the assignment of trust to the nodes present in a Wireless sensor Network (WSN). In this paper we develop a new algorithm for calculation of trust of individual nodes using both Direct and Indirect Trusts and thereby use the calculated trusts for determination of the different route trusts (RTs) to the Base Station. We present a link state routing protocol based on trust which protects the WSN against routing attacks by eliminating the un-trusted nodes beforehand. It then forms the routes and finds the best trustworthy route among them by comparing the values of all the calculated route trusts as for each and every route present in the network. this paper also shows the advantage of inclusion of Indirect Trusts in addition to the Direct Trusts. Finally, we compare our work withthe most prevalent routing protocols and show its benefits over them.

this paper presents a novel low-cost micro air-hockey robotic platform which can be used in the research and development in sensor and networked dynamical system. Comparing with traditional micro soccer robot system, this new generation of air-hockey robot has an embedded inertial measurement unit. this can be integrated as a part of the sensor fusion for localization of the robot in complement with other information obtained from the imaging system. Moreover, by using a RSSI capable transceiver, this proposed robotic system can be a good platform to develop simultaneous localization and mapping algorithms (SLAM).

Ubiquitous wireless sensor networks (WSNs) consist of sensor nodes which may communicate with each other via unreliable communication links. Furthermore, the sensor nodes themselves may fail. Ubiquitous WSNs may be used in application scenarios where they autonomously monitor the environment and are only sporadically visited by the mobile user for harvesting the collected sensor data. thus, high availability of the measured data is of paramount priority. But how can the mobile user formulate this QoS requirement and how can a WSN - honoring such a QoS requirement - be efficiently implemented? We propose ZeDDS1 a middleware and control framework for providing high available data storage in WSNs. In ZeDDS, we assume that the WSN is meant for collecting and dependably storing measured data until the mobile user contacts the WSN for data harvesting. ZeDDS enables the mobile user to explicitly specify a particular replication strategy exhibiting a certain data availability and energy consumption. At run-time, ZeDDS is appropriately configured and replicates the measured sensor data according to the replication strategy specified. We evaluate our ZeDDS implementation in terms of write operation availability measurements of a WSN consisting of TelosB sensor nodes using three different well-known replication strategies.
