However, due to the high risk of data privacy, the easy-to-copy feature of data, and potential malicious behaviors of users, there still lacks data trading solutions to provide privacy protection, copyright/ownership protection and auditability of user behaviors. In this work, we propose a blockchain and smart contract based framework to keep tamper-proof records of data trading transactions, which also preserves users' identity, behavior and data privacy. data fingerprint is introduced to track data and protect data ownership. A set of protocols are also designed to prevent dishonest behaviors and ensure the security of data trading.

Multimedia access is influenced and impaired by variability in the availability of wireless access links. the impairment arises due to the occurrence of rain induced attenuation. this results in a multimedia content viewing gap (MCVG). the proposed research addresses the challenge of the MCVG and proposes the incorporation of artificial intelligence withcomputing and networking entities in enabling the creation of multi - media content. this is done aboard entities located in the subscriber residence instead of entities that were previously out of the subscriber residence. Performance analysis shows that the proposed mechanism outperforms existing mechanism and reduces access costs by at least 22.6% and up to 71% on average. the proposed mechanism also enhances the content access duration by 35.6%.

Falls are the second leading cause of injury deaths worldwide, inducing over $0.6$ million accidental deaths per year. Among various prevention strategies, fall-related research has been prioritized. However, conventional fall detection solutions relying on computer vision or wearable sensors embody several inherent limitations such as scalability, coverage, and privacy issues. To this end, we present FallSense, a transparent and real-time fall sensing system driven by wireless channel data. FallSense is built on a Dynamic Template Matching (DIM) algorithm, which can start with a light training set and keep updating on usage. FallSense has been realized on commodity WiFi devices and evaluated in real environments. Experimental results show that FallSense outperforms another state-of-the-art approach WiFall in terms of detection precision, false alarm rate and complexity.

After major disasters, temporary deployable cellular networks are often used to construct an emergency communication network. these networks do not have the same level of performance as a typical fog or cloud network, and in order to serve the users in a way that is sustainable, utilization of optimization algorithms must be considered. We proposed using a genetic algorithm (GA) to optimally allocate these users in the overlapping areas to a base station so that the system could provide an improved user experience. We tested our proposed algorithm against a greedy algorithm, a random algorithm, and allocating users to the closest MBS. the greedy algorithm outperformed the two other baseline algorithms, but the proposed algorithm was able to reduce the average and worst-case delay of the system by 80% compared to the greedy algorithm. the genetic algorithm had completely settled by 150 generations. this algorithm provided such an advantage that it warrants deeper study.

Most modern mobile computing devices today are powered by traditional multicore microprocessors which consume most of the energy and battery life in mobile devices. At the heart of these multicore microprocessors lies the traditional multicore architecture which is prone to problems such as dark silicon. With a novel approach this paper presents Hybrid-Asynchronous Low Powered Multicore Architecture which utilizes Hybrid-Asynchronous cores which are energy efficient and consume less energy in battery powered mobile computing devices. In the task of text classification, the results are often affected by the sparseness of the corpus in a certain category. this paper proposed a Text classification method based on keywords and co-occurred words in two-stream neural network, in which the keywords are selected from training corpus, and the co-occurred words are chosen from external corpus, and they both are the input of the aid-stream of neural network, which is to enhance the category characteristics of representation vector in main-stream, especially for the category with less data distribution. the experiment results in Fudan University Corpus proved that the proposed method further improved the accuracy of the traditional GRU network. the proposed aid-stream based on keywords and co-occurred words is of great significance to the task of text classification and will provide method support for other natural language processing task.

In this time and age, companies are facing difficult times to sustain their competitive advantages. the emergence of disruptive technologies, the bloody competition between rivals, the abrupt change of customer behaviors and the shortage of natural resources, all of these are drivers that push companies to think out of the box and to change the way business is done. Digital capabilities, and especially bigdata, comes as a new tool to use in order to continue creating and capturing value in a sustainable manner. this paper is a try to broaden the literature about this subject. A qualitative analysis was conducted inside three big size Moroccan companies in order to assess the impact of using bigdata on these firm's economic performances, social footprints and environmental negative externalities. the finding showed that embracing this technology has helped these companies for their quest to reach sustainability.
