Notch filter is an important type of filter which is widely used in communication technology and other fields because it effectively filters out the interference signals with the specific extremely narrow frequency bands, and efficiently transmits signals outside these frequency bands. A novel optimization method for FIR notch filter design using Firefly Algorithm is proposed. this method uses the minimum magnitude error in stopband as the optimization object, uses the magnitude error in passband as the constraint conditions, and realizes the FIR notch filter design by Firefly Algorithm. the result of design has both small order and good performance. therefore this method can be employed in the FIR notch filter design efficiently. © 2025 ieee.

the rotating joint is an important part of the mechanical scanning antenna, which ensures the effective transmission of electromagnetic wave signals during the rotation of the antenna. In this paper, the foundational principles and methodologies underpinning the design of a QV-band rotary joint for satellite communication systems are delineated. Furthermore, the electrical characteristics of the rotary joint have been meticulously modeled and simulated utilizing HFSS software. Concurrently, the processing of an actual joint has been undertaken. the test results show that the insertion loss of rotary joint in QV-band is less than 0.4dB and the VSWR is less than 1.4, which meets the technical requirements and the application requirements of the system. © 2025 ieee.

In response to the increasingly complex mechanical and electrical automation control needs in modern industry, this paper studies a mechanical and electrical automation control system design scheme based on PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) technology. this study first starts with the system architecture and builds an industrial automation control system, including power supply, input/output modules, control logic, human-computer interaction, communication and safety modules. the system core uses Siemens S7-1500 PLC;the input/output module uses photoelectric isolation technology to improve signal stability;the control logic module integrates the adaptive PID (Proportion Integral Differential) algorithm;the human-computer interface realizes real-time data and alarm display based on the WinCC platform. the communication module uses the PROFINET network enhanced by TSN (Time-Sensitive Networking);the safety module is designed with emergency stop and light curtain sensor mechanisms. During the test, the performance of the system is verified through hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation technology, and the stability and parameter sensitivity of the control algorithm are analyzed using the gray box test method. Experimental results show that in the position control experiment, the maximum absolute error of the system is 0.1 mm, the velocity fluctuation rate is controlled within pm 0.3 %, and the force control error is maintained within pm 0.2 ∼N. Under a variety of load and environmental conditions, the system exhibits excellent dynamic response and robustness. the research results show that the PLC control system designed in this paper has strong adaptability and efficiency in industrial automation control applications, and can effectively meet the needs of modern industry for high-precision control and multi-device collaboration. © 2025 ieee.

Forest fires pose significant threats to both the environment and human life, necessitating the development of advanced detection and prevention systems. In this study, we propose an integrated IoT (Internet of things)-based system for early detection and management of forest fires. the system incorporates a range of sensors including heat, gas, and thermal imaging sensors, along with IoT technology for real-Time monitoring and communication. Utilizing image processing techniques and (ML) Machine Learning algorithms, the system can accurately detect fires, predict their spreading patterns, and analyze environmental conditions. Key features include the deployment of disposable heat sensors for temperature monitoring, IoT sensors for gas detection and weather monitoring, and a centralized processing node for data analysis. Alerts are sent to nearby authorities and residents, while automated firefighting devices are activated to suppress fires until backup arrives. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed system in early detection and prevention of forest fires. © 2025 ieee.

the application of high-resolution satellite images in deep learning-based change detection methods has become increasingly popular. However, the down-sampling and cropping strategies deployed to fit the GPU memory constraint often result in incomplete semantic information and loss of fine details. this paper proposes a collaborative network based on feature pyramids, which enables networks to learn local and global features from cropped and down-sampled image patches. A feature-sharing mechanism is also introduced to fuse global features and local features. We evaluated the network on the LEVIR and S2Looking datasets by comparing it with some representative change detection networks. Comparative experiments show that the proposed network performs better in multi-scale change detection, improving precision by 2.69% on the LEVIR-CD dataset, and improving precision and recall by 6.83% and 2.68% on the S2Looking dataset, respectively. © 2025 ieee.

A Doherty Power Amplifier (DPA) has been designed and optimized specifically for compact mobile base station deployment, operating within a frequency range of 3.3 GHz to 3.6 GHz. the amplifier utilizes the proprietary DS10-2092 LDMOS transistors developed by the company for both the carrier and peak power amplifiers. Physical test results indicate that the DPA achieves saturated output power meeting the specified requirements, with a maximum saturated drain efficiency of 41%. the drain efficiency remains stable between 26.3% and 30.7% over a 6 dB power back-off range, demonstrating its superior performance in high-efficiency and broadband applications. © 2025 ieee.

Motor imagery (MI), the mental simulation of movement without physical execution, is a pivotal aspect of brain-computer interface (BCI) research, facilitating direct communication between the brain and external devices. Non-invasive BCIs, particularly those utilizing electroencephalogram (EEG) signals, face inherent challenges, including high-dimensional data, temporal dependencies, and variability across subjects. this study investigates the potential of Siamese networks-A deep learning framework grounded in contrastive learning-for single-channel EEG classification in MI tasks. through a series of comparative experiments employing identical parameter settings, including ten-fold cross-validation, we demonstrate that Siamese networks outperform convolutional neural networks (CNNs), yielding an average classification accuracy of approximately 10% higher. these findings underscore the superior capability of Siamese networks in capturing subtle temporal patterns and mitigating inter-subject variability, positioning them as a promising alternative to traditional CNN-based approaches in EEG-based MI classification. © 2025 ieee.

Deep learning based automatic modulation recognition (DL-AMR) is a crucial component of spectrum management in wireless communication systems. However, most of the existing DL-AMR methods rely on detailed labeled datasets. Additionally, current zero-shot recognition studies in the DL-AMR task are prone to unknown category confusion, which presents a greater challenge in recognizing multiple unknown modulation types simultaneously. In this paper, we propose a novel zero-shot framework, ZSLformer, which optimizes the feature representation for unknown modulation types using self-supervised learning, performs open-set identification based on Extreme Value theory (EVT), and concludes with unsupervised clustering of unknown modulation types. Experimental results based on the RML2016.10a dataset show that compared to existing methods that suffer from unknown modulation type confusion, ZSLformer is able to achieve an overall unknown types accuracy of 44.73% under four unknown class experimental conditions and demonstrates a more stable performance during threshold adjustment. © 2025 ieee.
