Cloud computing, near-field communication, wireless cellular networks, etc. are only a few of the associated technological advancements that have gained widespread market adoption in relation to the Internet of things. therefore, from an IoT viewpoint, it is crucial to pay attention to its applicability and feasibility features in connection to pertinent security concerns. this paper's goal is to analyse and illustrate how security issues with wireless sensor networks affect the Internet of things and its applications. As a result, this publication offers an overview of the major and secondary security requirements for wireless sensor networks together with a taxonomy of potential threats and attacks against these requirements. Despite recent advancements in WSN technology, the application still confronts major difficulties because these sensors are often put in remote places. the main issues here include risks to network security, network architecture, data collecting and deployment, and network coverage. these five subjects have so been extensively researched in the literature. this paper's major goal is to thoroughly discuss these challenges and proposed model with solution (Contiki Cooja) also discussed in details © 2022 ieee.

the article presents a solution to the problem of monitoring and managing natural-social-production systems through the design, development, implementation and effective use of geoportals as access points to spatial data infrastructures of organizations designed to ensure the conditions for sustainable development of territories. Geoportal systems are deployed as web-based systems that provide access to spatial data and represent an important tool for analyzing spatial information in real time. As part of the report, it was proposed to increase the efficiency of solving management problems in territorial systems through the introduction of planning, identification, analysis, monitoring and risk management processes in project activities for the development of geoportals. Examples of project implementation of risk-oriented geoportal systems systematizing knowledge about regional natural-social-production systems are proposed. © 2023 ieee.

Hyperspectral imaging is a technique that offers detailed chemical or compositional information that is generally not accessible through standard imaging methods like intensity or color imaging based on light reflection, transmission, or emission. Machine-learning techniques are often used to interpret hyperspectral imaging data. On the other hand., determining the amount of active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) present in biotin tablets by sample destructive techniques such as high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). An effective, computer-aided model is necessary to accurately determine the API content of biotin tablets. the study used a non-invasive method called hyperspectral imaging to examine the unique properties of the biotin capsules. the Rational Quadratic Gaussian Process Regression (RQ-GPR) analysed the spectral parameters obtained from the hyperspectral image. the major performance metrics derived by RQ-GPR are being contrasted with those generated from advanced regression techniques. the results demonstrated that RQ-GPR exhibited a superior performance with a R2 value of 0.99., root mean squared error (RMSE) of 1.5184., mean absolute error (MAE) of 1.1636 and mean squared error (MSE) of 2.3056. in predicting the API content from the hyperspectral imaging data of biotin tablet. the findings indicate that hyperspectral imaging is a rapid., non-invasive., and precise method for estimating the active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) content of pharmaceutical medications. © 2024 ieee.

the large-scale grid connection of distributed energy resources is an effective way to solve the problems of power supply shortage and environmental pollution, and there is no unified standard for the communication protocol when the existing distributed energy resources are connected to the grid. these standards focus on the electrical characteristics of the transformer itself, ignoring social factors. Firstly, this paper analyzes the business data requirements of distributed energy grid-connected communication. then, the “phenomenon/data/data-provider” pattern is extracted, and a standardized information model of distributed energy grid-connected communication is constructed. Finally, the summary and application prospect are carried out.

Organizing computing distributed resources in conjunction with machine learning algorithms in the age of big data is critical. this paper presents the FRL approach that combines Federated Learning and Reinforcement Learning to address problems in scale, speed, and data privacy. the overall framework of the Federated Reinforcement Learning (FRL) model bestows the use of distributed computing at different agents to train a standard RL model. this framework guarantees data privacy utilizing differential privacy and secure multi-party computation (SMPC). Quantitative analysis proves the proposed FRL framework retrieves a better result than a standard RL strategy implemented in the central controller. In the 100th episode of the study, the authors' FRL framework had better results than the centralized RL approach in autonomous navigation, resource management and game-playing. thus, the FRL framework gained a total benefit of 95 cumulative. 6, 98. 4, and 98. 3, and the rewards obtained for the centralized RL approach were 90. 5, 92. 0, and 93. 8, respectively. Also, there was lower communication overhead about the generic FRL framework, where the assessment was recorded at 33. At the same time, 100 parameter exchanges were performed;the decentralized RL method was measured at 6 units, while the centralized RL method was measured at 41. 3 units. the joint plot analysis established that the traditional FRL framework training strategy offers quicker convergence and heightened model robustness, as the collaborative training approach provides. the heatmap visualization confirms the enhancement of the capability to control the communication overhead. © 2024 ieee.

Quantitative analysis and the research on the multicast algorithm of the distributed blockchain-oriented e-commerce system in village revitalization is conducted in the paper. With the expansion of the application field of edge computing, its characteristics such as wide distribution, complex environment and large number have great disadvantages for its own security. Due to the lack of guarantee of equipment security and network security, the embedded chip data storage in edge computing itself will not have its own encryption mechanism. As a means of access edge computing permission control, digital certificate can control the access scope, operation level and data permission, and provide a more secure computing and storage environment. With these core ideas, the efficient models are then demonstrated. And the applications to the village revitalization is also studied. through the experimental testing, the performance is then validated.

Wireless sensor networks are often distributed which makes detection of cyber-attacks or misconfiguration hard. Topology and data patterns change may result from attacks leading to the compromise of data and service availability or indicate operational problems. Graphs are often used to model topology and data paths to describe and compare state of a system. For anomaly detection, the definition of normal patterns, deviation from normal, and criteria when to declare anomaly are required. In this contribution the process of acquisition of normal patterns (ground truth), and criteria when to declare anomaly based on graph comparison are proposed. the anomaly detection is suitable for deployment at the edge of a network. Finally, the inability to define all security threats is addressed by a custom tree-based classifier which only requires normal patterns for training. A simulated wireless sensor network was used to acquire data and apply the method. Our experiments show that data and topology change can be detected at the edge of a network.

A new approach to implementing 5G and next-generation networks by using the resource of a local cluster of the network infrastructure of the terahertz range with integrated reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (hereafter RIS) is proposed in the paper. the approach allows for ensuring communication reliability. A solution for using a distributed register for implementing a preventive handover mechanism when blocking in the terahertz range is presented. the novelty of the proposed method is an activating of the serial interaction mechanism and transmission of signals between several mobility and session management objects during the handover of user equipment in modern wireless networks. the main benefit proposed solution from the existing is that solution allows for eliminating the need for sequential processing of requests by multiple managed objects, especially when the network function must be selected from multiple candidates, and accordingly ensures the implementation of various services with ultra-low delays. © 2023 ieee.

the revenues of a distributed Battery Energy Storage System(BESS) can substantively depend on the scheduling of its charging and discharging operation. the traditional operation scheduling based on time is too simple to maximum the BESS' revenues in an electricity spot market environment. this paper presents a new technique to the operation scheduling of BESS under the electricity spot market environment. the goal of the scheduling is to maximum the revenue of the storage facility. A suitable model for the operation of battery storage with distributed Energy Resources (DER) is built, this model considers the power network constrains including distributed generation, and also considering the loss of charging and discharging of BESS, the loss of natural discharging and and the cost of cycle life. the algorithm is based on linear programming with constrains. the test cases computations show that the algorithm is practical. © 2022 ieee.
